Cops who breached Paddocks room.

In the interview with the cops who breached the room, one of them states as he's running towards the hotel he takes his boots off because they were "impeding" his running. 1-If you know boots have this effect why wear them while you're on duty? B- Have you ever tried to just kick off your boots? It's not that easy.

WTF? Who takes off boots when your about to confront a "mass shooter"? This makes no fucking sense....
1 Rockran 2017-10-09
Who takes a pistol to confront someone with a rifle?
Sometimes you have to make the best out if what you've got...

when i commented i assumed they were tactical boots, i just finished the article but it still doesnt make sense to me.
1 Rockran 2017-10-09
So you commented before reading the article?
1 ablackguy22 2017-10-09
He says his cowboy boots. Not tactical boots. Come on.
1 Mike_McDermott 2017-10-09
There is no practical use for cowboy boots other than riding horses.
1 ablackguy22 2017-10-09
He wasn't on duty at the time...
1 Mike_McDermott 2017-10-09
Then he is a retard.
1 ablackguy22 2017-10-09
He's a retard for doing his job and running into the fire?
1 Mike_McDermott 2017-10-09
He was on duty but wearing stupid foot protection. I bet he wont make that mistake again.
1 ThisIsMy1stRodeo 2017-10-09
I think he means he’s a retard for wearing cowboy boots.

Climbing poles, riding motorcycles and atvs

I dunno looking good is pretty practical. Cowboy boots make any outfit FABULOUSSSSS I’m a Texan- it’s fact.
1 Rockran 2017-10-09
The detective wasn't wearing footwear appropriate for running so he ditched them.
Not all police wear athletic footwear, some even wear suits with dress shoes.
1 ThisIsMy1stRodeo 2017-10-09
Well when you say it all logical like that... I guess it does make sense.
1 HangryBuffaloBill 2017-10-09
there are special dress shoes for running and walking. I used to be a door to door salesman and they saved my life.
1 ThisIsMy1stRodeo 2017-10-09
He was wearing cowboy boots. A lot of boots have slick bottoms that are damn near impossible to run in. But there are also some with treads that double as workboots. But he said he removed them because they were running his feet raw- I’ve never had to run at full speed in boots let alone a couple of blocks like he said he did.
1 HangryBuffaloBill 2017-10-09
thats fine i didnt realize they were cowboy boots. i want to know why this guy doing pprwork 9 miles away the had to run the last few blocks beat everyone else to the punch

They say a Freemason sign during these events is to have one or two shoes off. It shows you are in the brotherhood and are in on it.
1 Rockran 2017-10-09
Who says that?
1 ThisIsMy1stRodeo 2017-10-09
“They” said it..

No this detail doesn’t make it a conspiracy- it’s just another incident/detail I found to be odd.

Some questions and concerns:
Det. Casey Clarkson is at the concert and gets hit with shrapnel. Casey states that he was getting light headed and his partner was worried. Who is his partner? Casey says he stayed to help dispite his wounds, where does he go?
Sgt Joshua Bitsko and Dave Newton are k9 unit dog trainers. It states they were training dogs when the call went out. JOSH claims he said this"I just yell to these guys, "lets go. Ther is an active shooter." Who are "these guys"? If he was with other officers why did only Dave Newton come with him? Also they had to drive 5 min down the expressway. lets assume 60 mph at 5 min lets say they were from 5 to 10 miles away, how were they there as first responders when so far away?
Det. Matt Donaldson says he was doing paperwork at HQ. He was roughly 9 miles away. Why was he there before anyone else? what about Det. Clarkson and his partner? where did they go in the time it took for Donaldson and the k9 guys to get there?
Why did guys who were so far respond first? Las Vegas doesnt have cops closer to the strip? A detective nearly 10 miles from the scene was a first responder even though there were plenty of other las vegas police already there? Did they not get the training the sheriff speaks of? Shouldnt police on the scene have made this ad hic swat team before these guys showed up? Im just asking questions here.
Levi Hancock the swat team member. Why was he the only swat member there? wouldnt there be more swat with him when he showed up? do they areive at the scene as they can? Also the door to the stairwell was barricaded, guess who just happened to have a crow bar? the door that need to be blown open, guess who has charges just for this!? it is odd to me that ine swat guy shows up and has wverything needed to "take the shooter down".
I am simply asking questions here based off the article.

These are great questions! some I’ve wondered about myself. I’m on my mobile right now but I’ll respond back once I’m back at the office.
