Las Vegas: where's the conspiracy?

6  2017-10-10 by DonaldCruz

This is what likely happened:

  1. Paddock was setting up his room for the shooting (placing cameras, drilling holes for his guns or wires for his cameras) when he triggers a door alarm (or this could have just been a coincidence)
  2. Security guard Campos is dispatched to check out the alarm
  3. While checking the alarm in a nearby room he hears drilling or other unusual noises coming from Paddocks' room
  4. He tries to investigate to see what it is
  5. Paddock becomes startled and unloads a nearby gun at the door
  6. Campos is shot but not fatally
  7. If Campos still had his radio with him (maybe it fell in front of Paddock's door and he didn't want to retrieve it) he radios in for help; he hangs out in the hallway telling nearby people to stay away, evacuate, and call for help
  8. Paddock, now being interrupted decides he has to act before the police show up; he shoots for 10 minutes with the guns he had prepared (or were easily accessible to him)
  9. Paddock keeps shooting until his guns jam, or he runs out of ammo or starts mixing up his ammo and guns and decides it's taking him too long to reload, or he hears people approaching in the halls
  10. Paddock decides to kill himself fearing if he waits longer he could be stunned with a flash bang grenade and captured alive
  11. Campos and the police who have arrived decide not to break down the door because the shooting has stopped so instead they evacuate the floor before they break down the door and start a shootout
  12. They wait for the SWAT (or other police?) with explosives
  13. They break down the door and discover that Paddock is already dead

I don't see where the conspiracy is? The reports of multiple shooters, shots from different directions, changing narratives is all stuff that gets reported after every shootings. There's always chaos after events like these and lots of witnesses who are sure of what they saw are wrong.

Regarding the explosives found in his car, maybe he was planning a bigger attack but figured out he wasn't able to rig his car so abandoned that idea. Or if he really did think he could escape alive, maybe he was planning to drive somewhere and blow it up later.

theres a few things that really dont add up. why 23 guns? that alone suggests theres more to the story. the timeline of security guard and police response, it turns out the initial story wasnt correct, so suspicion there has been justified. reports of incidents at other casinos no where near mandalay bay that cant be immediately dismissed as public hysteria caused by what was happening at the concert. the first gun used is very likely not one of the guns he is reported as having. it doesnt match the fire rate of a rifle with bumpfire, it matches a SAW and sounds exactly the same.

Lots of guns so he could do the maximum damage in the least amount of time. If all those guns were fully loaded and ready he would've killed many more people but because Campos startled him he started his attack before he had all his guns ready which is why he took 30 seconds between volleys to reload.

i dont buy it. 6 guns? 10 guns? maybe, but 23 is just ridiculous imo. if youve got all those guns laid out ready then you have to move to get one and re position yourself. it would be quicker to just reload.

i do think you have a relevant point about campos disturbing his preparations.

Also... People with experience of shooting weapons using bump stocks believe it impossible to continuously empty 100 round magazines on full auto, it's too physically demanding. If paddock was accustomed to shooting these weapons he would have known that.

You do realise what you're claiming is also a conspiracy theory right?

If max damage is goal, why even use guns? He owned planes, he could have flown into crowd and killed much more than even a successful shooting rampage.

It does sound exactly like a saw.

I'm not knee-deep into these theories, but what I find weird, is that a lot of video footage is being deleted right in front of me. Videos of people being carried into the hospitals, which reportedly showed no injuries, weird handling and it looked generally very suspicious, got deleted within an hour. Also a video which reportedly showed a gunman INSIDE the crowd, of which now only a screenshot remains. It's just very weird that videos are getting selectively removed.

I'm sure we don't know everything. If that's indicative of a conspiracy, I don't know, but I really, really think it's time that the government (?) is open to the public. We have a right to know everything and to have our questions answered honestly.

the video of the gunman inside the crowd is being deleted because it doesnt show what people have claimed. if removing videos was part of a cover up they would leave that one up because it would help discredit conspiracy ehorists

Why would it be deleted at all? There's no reason for that; leave everything up and let people form their own opinions. Your reason for deleting that video doesn't make sense as well; who would've deleted it?

The conspiracy theorists would delete it because it's not showing what they claimed it shows. At a glance the claim is believable, but if you pay close attention it is obvious it doesn't show the security guard shooting at people.

The video clearly shows his face. He can be easily identified. Websites that display the video with the claim he shot at people open themselves to serious legal consequences

As it looks like you did see the video and still are able to see it, could you share it here, or with me privately? I'd like to see for myself, instead of believing you.

i didnt bother bookmarking anything, but im sure you will still be able to find it.

do you want my explanation of what the video does show? i think it might be better you watch it yourself so my explanation doesnt influence you then let me know when youve seen it and ill give my explanation.

paddock - as alleged - is an elderly, gambling-addicted alcoholic who manages to schlep 20 long guns and a couple thousand rounds of ammunition up to his 32nd floor room...undetected, mind you, in one of the most heavily surveilled cities in the world...knock out a couple of windows made out of reinforced plate glass, and fire pretty effectively with a notoriously ineffective method of rapid fire at moving targets 450 yards or so away, all while reloading/transitioning in an apparently flawless manner.

i dont think so. theres obviously more to the story.

the fact the stage for debate is now the paddock character and the security guard represents a success for the narrative. Internet gadgets, building safety, capabilities of men in 60s, security guard timelines, these are things that can be handled and limits the scope of inquiry to dead people.

the fact the stage for debate is now the paddock character and the security guard represents a success for the narrative

what avenue of discussion would not be a success for the narrative?

if the narrative examined itself and its narrators that would be a start - real journalism intended to inform rather than continue the PR for the ignorant masses

One point that needs to be corrected: it is unlikely that he was the one who transported the guns to his room. I guarandamntee that he didn't do this himself - he tipped a bellman to bring up his bags. I don't own guns, but couldn't he have brought a bunch up in golf bags, large suitcases, etc.?

What about his neighbor initially saying the shooter was Asian-- that's also kinda weird, not really mentioned to much.

The second interview with the brother seems to suggest he is lying or knows more about this then he is letting on. Based on those interviews I'm inclined to think he was fully aware of this brother's plans and motivation. If two or more people are involved then that is a conspiracy right?

I really cannot believe the brother hasn't had a chat with the FBI by now. I mean, surely they watched what we watched, and surely they questioned him? If they haven't, then they are more interested in the narrative than the truth.

He has. He arrived in Vegas 10:30 pm Saturday and immediately had a 4 hour interview. Then another 5 hour interview on Sunday.

Those poor agents that had to deal with that guy for so long lol

LOL ... we don't all work at Taco Bell

Did he have a lawyer present?

I have no idea

I just saw an article earlier this morning that says he is Las Vegas right now at Steve's house going through the investigation to help them.

Killer's brother in Las Vegas

Stephen Paddock's younger brother, Eric Paddock, arrived in Las Vegas Sunday to aid authorities in their investigation.

Jesus Campos is in on the deal, with so much weapons bombs and what not, you would need a helping hand Especially someone on the inside and no one better than a security personnel mwaahhhhh

Guys... could he have been an arms dealer? The cameras, the money to gamble (launder), the frequent trips. He was caught and knew he was going down so he went out with a bang. If so, the government will NOT want it known.

Plenty of threads here with loose ends. Have a look around

That would place the intended shooting to happen at a later point in time.

Jason Aldean was already the last artist on stage. I highly doubt the rest of the plan involved something elaborate like going back down to the parking and get more ammo/Tanneritetm.

Unless he was aiming for something coming after the event? Was anything big planned for Oct 2nd/3rd?

BTW, door alarm surprises a lot of people. We have a new security system at one of our entrance doors (office building) that starts ringing after XY seconds of open door. Still most people don't know about it.
I don't see the point in having it installed in a hotel, but what do I know about hotel security... *shrugs* Maybe set it to 15min in case the guest leaves and forgets to close it?

he was already making preparations for something to happen imminently, like the cameras set up already. its very possible his plan completely changed when he was discovered early.

Agreed, not a false flag (yet). The worst is the news editing shit and maybe a photoshopped picture in circulation.

What photoshopped pic? Of his holding the shot glass because I debunked that yesterday, its a wrinkle in his pants

https://imgur.com/a/hLYHZ

her elbows don't look right and this pic is circulated with the couch completely blacked out/looks deleted. i donno.

It’s not a couch, it’s his pants that are wrinkled and give the effect that she is cropped

the wrinkled pants lead to straight lines at the bottom of her elbows? it looks so fishy.

Did you by chance look at the pic I linked? I brightened the levels on the photo and pointed out the wrinkles that are now distinguishable

I did, thanks for brightening. Yes I see the wrinkles but her elbows still look wrong. They should push into his leg more and not have such straight lines?

Think about your arms or legs behind a blanket, the ripple is going to give you the same line effect when looking at it

you convinced me! her right arm is right on a ripple. thanks.

So, you've just made up your own theory which is totally what happened? Even though we don't actually know what happened yet. And everyone else's theories are wrong? Got it.

I think Paddock may be hiding out in 2009's hit animated comedy 'Imaginationland'. Sources say he has been spotted selling arms to Waldo and Mr Poopybutthole

Cool story bro.

Better than everybody else's

Cooooool story

Thannnnks

Nòòòooòooooooooo prrobbbbbbbbblem

Hey, do you Chaffing Balls? You guys are related I believe?

"this is what likely happened"

Into the trash your opinion goes

I think this is a very likely breakdown of what happened.

I fully believe he was the only shooter, I think the only conspiracy here is why he did it.

You've forgotten that he actually started shooting from the other room.

Why did Campos not go downstairs to warn someone even if he didn't have a radio or cell phone?

How did none of the other guests hear the bullets strafing the hall six minutes before all hell broke out?

If you trust the liars on tv then sure!!!! And osama planned 9/11 from a cave and Muhammad Muhammads passport was ejected from the first plane and landed in the hands of the FBI hours after impact!!!

Great, now where is the motive?

TBH, we still have been presented zero evidence that paddock even fired a single round.

Why would it be deleted at all? There's no reason for that; leave everything up and let people form their own opinions. Your reason for deleting that video doesn't make sense as well; who would've deleted it?
