They thought they could control the narrative to just Weinstein and his shenanigans and use it to cleanse their image.

But their narrative is being overshadowed by many other instances of sexual abuse by the Hollywood elite that is being reported.

It sure seems to be snowballing. They might end up completely cannibalizing themselves on this one.

I see this a lot and I have mixed feelings when I see it.

On the one hand, I like how it encourages independent research and avoids groupthink. But on the other hand, it comes off as a little pretentious and snobby. Maybe we can be a little more welcoming to what is clearly a newly awakened group of people. Seeing a lot of growth on this sub.

We constantly complain about "Sheeple" or whatever when the "normies" are distracted from what is happening, then when they show an interest in what is happening, we act indifferent to them and shun them from our tribe. Lets help guide them on their path. We were all beginners at one point.
