These Las Vegas information press conferences sound like when you have to reach a max word count on a paper. Just repeat the same point over and over in a different way, never adding anything new.

You nailed it.

Hey hey hey, he said no questions!

Honestly I don’t think the sheriff could even answer them. I believe FBI took over from the start and he has about as much info as we do. FBI just keeps telling him, “it’s important we stay on this script” for national security or something. They keep pushing off informing him and he pushes off informing us. I think this is why he always looks so distraught. Could be wrong.

I agree the FBI is running the show. This reminds me of the TWA 800 investigation. The TSB guy leading the investigation came out after her retired and said the whole investigation was taken over by the FBI.

He took NO QUESTIONS and added on a manipulative emotional note. Very telling.

ugh. we will never have answers. Does anyone else think this Harvey Weinstein scandal is being pushed by someone to change the subject from las Vegas?
1 Cult4five 2017-10-13
Yea make a thread about it!

The Weinstein story has all the People Magazine - scandal in celebrity land - appeal to take media's attention away from the Vegas Shooting.
You would think any serious investigative reporter would be focused on Vegas.

almost as if a hollywood producer wrote their script cough narrative today. that was something out of a movie lol

Yeah no questions and they ended with that emotional (diverting) story. They both read statements straight off the paper. Utter bullshit

WTF was the point of the press conference? I didn't see all of it, but the part I saw didn't seem to be an actual press conference.

You were supposed to lose interest by now. Move along.

The fact the sheriff kept referring to "the narrative" was kinda interesting... i dont remember him speaking like that before

Nothing to see here...

It's not about finding the truth, it's all about calming the public down and not interrupting the tourist business with the narrative of multiple shooters who are still around somewhere, business as usual in Vegas

So, at 9:59pm the door ajar alarm sounded at the control center and in 6 minutes the hero made it to the stuck door from the stairwell side, then up/down (or down/up) using a different set of stairs (or elevator), and approached the door from the floor 35 side, then dodged 199 rounds in less than six minutes. Not too shabby.

The way they explained it makes sense kinda. We would need a map and a walk through to get the time right. We have no idea how long that could take

During the press conference today, he said he both radioed and then called using his cell phone. This is at least new. WHERE IS HIS 911 TRANSCRIPT?
1 TheRammer 2017-10-13
Sorry your FOI request is denied due to on-going investigation...

The sheriff couldn't be bothered to provide I new detail be cause of an "on going investigation" but that didn't stop him from taking a bow for himself and others cops. Why so much secrecy in the name of an on going investigation when according to the police the only suspect is dead? It's not like they have to preserve evidence for a prosecution.

Any link? Livefeed link is dead by now and so far Youtube has only a small segment recorded from a screen.
