Trumps recent twitter meltdowns.

If you have been following Lil donnie on twitter lately, he released a storm of angry tweets over the course of 3 hours regarding the justice depts unwillingness to prosecute hilary and other dems for the while election fiasco where they stole the nomination from bernie.
One of my senators, GOPs Bob corcker, called trump out. He said that trump is trying to goad the doj into prosecuting his enemies. And I agree with him.
Truth is, we don't know that hilary broke any laws when she stile the nomination. All we know is that it was ethically wrong. Remember, the DC is a private buisness, not a state run entity. They can do whatever their board of directors want with their money, so long as they follow state and federal laws.
Should it be investigated? Probably so, yes. But here are my problems with how trump has reacted to all of this.
He is behaving as if he is just powerless in all of this. If he doesn't like how people in the doj are doing their job, he could fire them and appoint new people. If he really cared about justice in this matter, this is what he would do. Instead he wants to act all self-righteous on twitter. And call for immediate punishment of his political opponets, thereby sabotaging justice just as he did in the bowe bergdahl case. When he made his opinion known on twitter, it made it impossible to get a truly fair trial. It poisoned the well of opinion. This may have played into the judges decision to let bowe off with no jail time, and if this thing with hilary goes to court it will ruin that too.
He only wants justice on his terms. He wants his political opponets prosecuted. He doesn't care who was hurt or what was taken from the American people. If he did, he wouldn't have referred to sanders as "crazy bernie". He is only using this issue to make himself look less corrupt . Basically saying, "I'm not that bad, look what hilary did!!" Which is not surprising considering his historically low approval rating.
He is undermining the publics Confidence in the doj. He paints them as incompetent layabouts. He acts like, because they aren't doing what he wants they are betraying the American people. The reality is that these type of things take time and are complicated. But people that voted for him don't know that and think trumps word is gospel. You would think that, as someone that is under investigation for collusion, he would be a little more respectful to the doj.
Trump is a twitter warrior. He has the temperament of a butt hurt 12 year old. He is purposely misleading the public. He is the cause of so much division in this country. Nobody can argue that.
SPEZ: I took out some of the name calling. And for the record, hilary belongs in jail.

I know his $18 billion dollars spent on...oh wait that was Soros. My bad.

People MIGHT be more receptive to your posts if you cut out the childish (and repetitive) name calling and state some facts. Js

There should be a button that automatically posts this. It would save a lot of us a lot of time.

I worked today. When I got home, I checked my stock portfolio. So far, President Trump has allowed me to take a vacation with my family.
Is this Obama's economy? I don't care. Everyone I know has made money this year. Why complain?
1 BallP 2017-11-04
Why is every criticism ive heard this week from BO, Michelle, Biden , et al not about policy anymore, or even the old xenophobia attack. They all complain about Twitter. I suspect they realize his policies have the potential to be popular and they are terrified of the midterms.

What policy

Hahahaha trumps fiscal policies did take effect until last month, so yeah. Thank obama.

How is blaming one man for all your problems even relevant to this sub?
1 AngryD09 2017-11-04
Read between the lines dude. Obviously Trump wants to grab Op by the pussy and this is all a scheme to bring down the evil tyrant.

Where did I blame trump for all my problems?

I have an alternate theory. Yesterday Carter Page while pleading the fifth and withholding all documents threw Sessions under the bus for knowing about his Moscow July 2016 trip while he and Sessions where on Trump's campaign foreign advisory team. Recently Sessions also admitted he did recall Papadopoulos and his Russia meeting.
Sessions has been caught lieing in testimony to Congress and has most likely drawn Mueller's eye.
My theory is Trump is distancing away from Sessions for future attempts to paint Sessions as barely part of his team and a Clinton plant.
1 TheGreatOni19 2017-11-04
That's going to be a stretch. There really is no distancing a president from his attorney general. But yeah, I guess he could try.
1 skorponok 2017-11-04
Oh Sessions definitely perjures himself in front of congress and should be fired immediately.
1 mrjeepguy 2017-11-04
Similar theory is that Sessions intentionally got himself into this situation in order for him to either resign or for Trump to fire him, which opens up a space for a new AG who may start the process of ending the investigations.
1 ZiggyAdventures 2017-11-04
As far fetched as our ideas are, it has me worried. Rupublican recently filled a motion for Mueller to resign in the house. Now it still has to pass and is non binding, but threads here about it are already all over firing Mueller.
I missed when it happened but they are already turning people against Mueller and what we describe might be in the works.
1 mrjeepguy 2017-11-04
I could see the situation of Sessions resigning or being fired happening, but it would be a complete shitshow if they actually took real steps toward firing Mueller.

I don't follow twitter and I still want to see Hillary answer for what she did. If I was in trumps position I would want her to get what's coming to her. What do you expect? Let her go because the DNC is a corporation? So is the USA.
1 LurkPro3000 2017-11-04
But he posts stuff on twitter ruining everything that I don't want to happen anyways! /s
Honestly tho, I don't even know why I'm responding to this bs
1 danjo_kandui 2017-11-04
You said it makes him look like he wants to take down his political opponents. Kinda like a football player wants to score a touchdown?
The news isn't all over it. It sounds like you don't want anyone talking about it because it will jeopardize the investigation that isn't even happening. I'm not trying to be a dick but what your saying doesn't make any sense. I would probably agree if the new would actually cover what's going on.
1 LurkPro3000 2017-11-04
Did you mean to respond to me?
1 danjo_kandui 2017-11-04
No my bad. It was towards the op.
1 TheGreatOni19 2017-11-04
It's not that I don't think he should talk about it. It's trump casting aspersions and calling for people to be put in jail that I have a problem with. He coukd suggest an investigation take place without immediately saying they should all be in jail. Any good lawyer will take his Twitter statements and say they make it impossible for a fair trial. That's just more ammo for the defense. Past presidents didn't say things like trump dies because they already knew all of this. This aline blows the whole 3d chess theiry out of the water. Unless he knows hilary and company will be investigated and he's doing what he can to make sure she gets off easy.
I want her to go to jail, but trump is making that a harder reality to achieve by taking to twitter and firing off poorly thought out tweets like these.
1 danjo_kandui 2017-11-04
I get what your saying. It's just so frustrating when the Clintons corruptions stretches back to Little Rock. I guess I like seeing it put out in the open because the justice system has never when after them and I have little faith they will unless the masses know about it.
1 TheGreatOni19 2017-11-04
Imho, that's a cop out. He's the fucking president. He could get it done. Instead he goes on twitter and has an impotent little temper tantrum. Yeah it's in the public, but he could put her in jail. But he's not. He is weak.
1 danjo_kandui 2017-11-04
So when did the DOJ do their job and investigate the Clintons? I've been waiting for such a long time. Did I miss it?
1 NoYamShazam 2017-11-04
OP, you have triggered the donald's tribe.
But you are correct, about the damage Trump does to his own Justice Dept.

Why don't you ask trump why they're not.
And btw, they did investigate hilary. Remember benghazi? And the email investigations? Those investigations made her the most investigated politican in American history. But they were all misguided. Trump knows what to investigate, but he wont. Instead he wants to throw a temper tantrum.
