(((Dual-Citizen Politicians))) Are Subverting Democracy. How Do We Make It Illegal To Represent Americans While Being A Citizen Of Another Country?

And also ban politicians from becoming a citizen of another country unless they renounce their US citizenship.

Sorry, list is from 2014
1 Gene_Rosens_Daycare 2017-11-06
Ahhh right on. This information is pretty hard to track down. At least from my past experience.
1 OutragedOgre 2017-11-06
That list is from the G. W. Bush years, do you have anything current?
1 RedditIsPropaganda28 2017-11-06
It's from 2014. Which means the problem IS EVEN BIGGER than listed.
1 OutragedOgre 2017-11-06
There are many people on that list who were not in government in 2014.
1 RedditIsPropaganda28 2017-11-06
Please post a better list.
1 WaitTilUSeeMyDick 2017-11-06
You just said the problem is even bigger. Can you back that up?
1 OutragedOgre 2017-11-06
I don't give a shit about dual citizenship. You do.

maybe the entire way we go about creating policy, by ceding its design to a rotating cast of ill-equipped, corruptible, greedy fucks is a Bad Idea. maybe rather than trying to restrict who gets to do what we rather overhaul the mechanisms by which policy is created and adopted. have a marketplace where better designs can be debated, voted on, implemented in sandboxes, tested, validated and then scaled out - with mindfulness of the narrative of pre-existing designs, on an issue by issue basis. implement ways for collective discussion around issues instead of ceding them to be done correctly by this aforementioned class of directionless asskissers.
1 RedditIsPropaganda28 2017-11-06
Well put. End the 2 party system. Strict term limits. END LOBBYING.
1 birdman5000 2017-11-06
yes it's idiocy
i'll go one better. no politicians at all. mechanize and democratize the policy process. let the people speak. no politicians required.
the undue influence of this goes away if we design the policy process right. if done properly designs will be measurable and testable. if a lobby group is created to advocate for a particular design they'll still have to demonstrate how their design is measurably and testably better.
1 RedditIsPropaganda28 2017-11-06
How do we mechanize and truly democratize the process? It seems hard to get 300 Million people involved.
1 birdman5000 2017-11-06
great question. we model functions of government in a commonly agreed upon design language. an item of policy becomes a rule in a ruleset that itself is a narrative or sequence of rules. we create tests (ie. different inputs) to see what the likely or common effects of the policy will be. fuzzing, monte carlo, etc. will work here. we create sandboxes where these rules can be implemented in reality and we measure whether the result is what we expected. people vote on which functions they think work best. we create a lifecycle wherein policy can be prototyped, tested, sandboxed, and finally adopted. we use a narrative design so that we can roll back to old policy that had a known behaviour should a policy rule that's been added not do its job sufficiently well. in this way we control how we mutate policy instead of having this spaghetti of policy with all sort of incredibly unpredictable consequences. we put all of this process online in a distributed, corruption-resistant data store like blockchain, and have regular votes that the public can be involved in. the system of gov becomes a collective readable narrative of policy rules that anyone can examine. full transparency of process. this enables accurate dialogue on issues instead of the vague bullshit we have floating around - looking at you left/right paradigm. want to know exactly how a policy was manifested in reality for a particular instance - just version the ruleset against the instance data. full backwards and forwards compatibility achieved. that's how it should be done, in general.

non-corruptible blockchain voting and sandbox implementation seems like a great idea.

We are talking about how Dual citizen politicians, primarily from Israel, are subverting USA's democracy.
you are talking about something different and trying to change the subject.

Good work man. This is the kind of simple stuff this sub should be used for, not a bunch of shitty MSM articles of the same topic flooding the sub.

Thank you. Yes, let's discuss the real issues.
End The Fed

Australia is currently auditing all MPs to make sure they aren't dual citizens. A few high level people have had to resign.
1 RedditIsPropaganda28 2017-11-06
USA needs to do this. It just makes sense for people representing a country NOT TO BE A CITIZEN OF ANOTHER COUNTRY.
