Cooper is a mixed bag in my opinion, Behold a Pale Horse definitely had a huge influence on both popular culture and the paranoid style of American politics but he is also definitely responsible for perpetuating a ton of disinformation.

He distributed several UFO photos in the BBS days of various aliens and UFOs which had been circulated previously and were at least known as fakes.

He propagated a fake Kennedy assassination video of the driving shooting Kennedy, he recanted this at a later date after selling out a lecture tour in the early 90s.

Better than MSM where it's 80% distraction and 20% legit.

Cooper did a lot of ground work on the esoteric nature of NASA.
