Strange photograph
14 2017-11-13 by Evilcampincalf
Hello r/conspiracy . A few years back I stumbled upon a picture that (possibly, this was years ago) contained multiple government officials (from what it seemed), notably from all over the world, eating a dead body. The picture was taken at night, and the body was covered in some sort of sauce or something of the like, laid out like a pig during a dinner party. The body and (what I believe to have been) a woman picking a piece off were the most noticable parts. Does anyone know what this picture was? And does anyone have the picture saved/archived? Thanks.
EDIT: about 2 minutes after the post an Anon found what I was looking for. Lady Gaga Spirit Cooking... Pretty disgusting... What's the story behind this?

Never heard of this, but you have piqued my interest. Here's to hoping an internet anon can help you out...

Funnily enough I saw it stemming off of an iFunny link. The picture freaked me out

Where did you stumble across the pic? Treat it like lost car keys. Retrace your steps.

I saw it stemming from an iFunny link. I don't even remember who sent the link but I'm sure the picture was removed, since I'm pretty sure iFunny doesn't allow gore.

If it helps any, the account was dedicated to things that broke the ToS

That's it. you found it. Props to you

What exactly is the story behind this?

Satanists.

Pretending to eat a dead body = ART!!

Only the Trogiest of Troglodytes don't realize this

It was probably the one where they are eating cake. The private dinners vs the public dinners are different. According to Marina Abramovic.
1 Evilcampincalf 2017-11-13
Cake shaped like a dead woman? I don't think so. Looks pretty reasonable that it's a dead body from the reactions and the results bearing from a google search.
1 wildfireonvenus 2017-11-13
I'm probably thinking of other photos then. I'll do a search and see what comes up.

Haven't seen this... Interesting enough

Hopefully this has provided you with some valuable insight into your own memory.
It was never a dead body and the image isn't quite as you recalled. I think our over confidence is our own memory and reasoning leads to a lot of problems, specifically on this sub in my experience.
1 Evilcampincalf 2017-11-13
What is it then, if not a dead body?
1 Her_Excellency 2017-11-13
A live one. Much like you see people eating sushi off naked women, same concept in a dramatically different environment.
1 Evilcampincalf 2017-11-13
In the photos it doesn't appear that food is on her body, rather she's being eaten. Can you show me some proof?
1 Her_Excellency 2017-11-13
It looks like I was slightly off, it was a fake dead body made to mimic the idea of eating off of a live one.
As for proof? The articles written covering it. Where's your proof that it's a dead body? Do you know what spirit cooking is? It certainly doesn't require a dead body.
1 Evilcampincalf 2017-11-13
I'll look into the articles. Hopefully that's the proof I want. Still disgusting, fake or not

It's pretend while the cameras and kids are going around, after the lights go down and the hoods come up the rookies go home with cake, but the old varsity team does the stuff for real, they let Will Ferrell and Lady Gaga see some of the goods sure, but they won't see the hard-core stuff unless they're invited to the "after -after party" 😔

This is more what he's talking about. It's cake. Or cake-like anyway.

I hope you've learned a lesson about lecturing people before you know what they're referring to. Overconfidence in your own knowledge and reason leads to a lot of problems.
1 Xaviermgk 2017-11-13
Different event entirely.
1 Her_Excellency 2017-11-13
Well I certainly hope that wasn't what they were talking about since that is obviously not a real human body, and they agreed in this very thread they were referring to the Lady Gaga Spirit Cooking images.
1 biffingzorp 2017-11-13
I see you didn't actually google "lady gaga spirit cooking" as the linked photo is one of the results.
1 Her_Excellency 2017-11-13
Lol.
There are literally thousands of results. Taking it to mean the result with Lady Gaga in it is a completely rational position.
1 biffingzorp 2017-11-13
Wow, dude. Just admit you were wrong.
1 Her_Excellency 2017-11-13
No thanks, I don't think I was. You are obviously entitled to your opinion but I feel entirely comfortable with my stance based on the information available.
1 biffingzorp 2017-11-13
At this point I'm just amused. You've proven precisely the point I originally made.
1 Her_Excellency 2017-11-13
You are certainly entitled to that opinion.
1 DonnaGail 2017-11-13
I think it is supposed to be "art" according to the people who attended this event. But in my opinion, it is just plain creepy!
1 Evilcampincalf 2017-11-13
It is. The only reason I'm accepting it's a dead body is because I haven't seen anything proving it isn't... And knowing things about these people I wouldn't be surprised if it was
1 DonnaGail 2017-11-13
Well, you might have a point. If it is "art" then the person was probably a hired actress (or someone like that). Where is she now? What is her name? Can we find her?
1 KiwiBattlerNZ 2017-11-13
You must be a carpenter because you hit the nail on the head.
1 idiotwithatheory 2017-11-13
is that the mandella effect?
1 Her_Excellency 2017-11-13
It certainly could apply there, although I was honestly speaking generally without that specific example in mind,
1 mindboglin 2017-11-13
There is a ton of this kind of shock art. Not saying there's nothing to this but it's not at all strange if you're familiar with modern art.
