BE Aware! (CP in Messages)
76 2017-11-20 by WarSanchez
I have heard rummors of people messaging users CP under the guise of Pizzagate/Elsagate "research" but this is the first confirmed case of people getting caught.

They are trying to shut this sub down because of sick pedo fucks.
Do NOT open any messages or suspicious links, report ANYTHING suspicious to Mods and Admins, better safe than sorry.

Good way to silence some conspiracy theorists by telling them they have cp on there internet history.

good way to prevent people from sharing something important with each other by making them all scared it could be child porn.
1 IntellisaurDinoAlien 2017-11-20
Good catch OP, the admins have been notified about this blatant misrepresentation. Let's see if they side with another false flag harrassment campaign by a topminds user shall we?
1 WarSanchez 2017-11-20
Holy shit, dude has a comment stating Bernie tried to steal the nomination from Hillary.
Is this real life?
1 wwwes32 2017-11-20
Hardcore Hillary supporters are fucking nuts, man. In 2008 they nearly lost their goddamn minds, started getting racist af.

"CALL ME MOMMY DEAREST!"

Received a weird message the other day from u/testaccount4949 offering access to a hidden can/ voyeur site. I didn't delete it, but it's now gone from my inbox. I still have my reply saved, which kindly explained I was not now, nor would I ever be interested, and kindly asked to be removed from their list.
Suspicious considering many users received similar messages. Don't fall for stupid traps.
1 YouSeaBlue 2017-11-20
I am not sure it was same username, but I got the exact same message and it disappeared even though I never opened or deleted it. Luckily someone posted a warning.

So some drama/TmoR frequenting retard is trying to censor things he doesnt like? Is that whats happening here?
1 WarSanchez 2017-11-20
No idea yet.
The user who was bamned admitted to getting porn and watching it tho.

So he must have been "asking for proof".

Another reason to use Tor, VPN, public internet, and other privacy measures. Can't plant anything if they can't find you.
1 WarSanchez 2017-11-20
Better to be extra careful than trust technology.
Remember, they caught Pirate from SilkRoad even tho he used TOR.
And some VPN services have given up users before.
1 LonelyIslandIsWoke 2017-11-20
Stack the VPN with Tor and only use public internet with Tails on a machine that can't be traced to you.
1 Room2426 2017-11-20
He was caught because he allegedly left identifiable details in forum posts including an old email address linked to him. He wasn't caught through TOR exploits.
1 pupomin 2017-11-20
I don't know any details about that case, but I suspect that any time TOR weaknesses are used by law enforcement to catch people, they will use parallel construction whenever possible to avoid exposing the TOR weaknesses they can use.
1 Room2426 2017-11-20
I totally agree and that is documented, the FBI let child pornographers walk free because they didn't want to disclose their exploits.

This. Task force Argos did a major sting a few months ago on the darknet. You shouldn't need to use these measures for browsing the clear web.

What is VPN?
1 PM_ME_CHUBBY_DOGGIES 2017-11-20
virtual private network. It's a way to browse anonymously ot to appear that your computer is in a place it's not
1 mrsuns10 2017-11-20
How do you get this?
Also i just received a strange message saying "trying smash". This shit is real
1 PM_ME_CHUBBY_DOGGIES 2017-11-20
just Google it
1 pupomin 2017-11-20
Buy access from a commercial VPN provider. Chose one that has features that match your requirements (for example, one based in the US leaves you open to some kinds of state-level tracking. That may nor may not be a problem for you).
I recommend not using any kind of free VPN services. They tend to be overloaded and slow, and are also used for illegal purposes by other users which means that various law enforcement agencies track them fairly closely from time to time (don't hang out with criminals when you want to avoid the po-po).
1 other_self 2017-11-20
Basically a browser with a condom
1 NoLaNaDeR 2017-11-20
Well that condom that has a convenient hole at the end that confuses all your man spunk into believing they are somewhere else but tend to end up at the same goal anyways...
1 partyghost 2017-11-20
Excellent analogy. Thanks for the chuckle :)

Virtual Private Network.
Instead of connecting directly to the internet, you connect to the VPN provider, who then pools all of the traffic from their clients together, so it is much harder to track which websites you're visiting.
Tor has better protections, but it's slower and may draw more attention if you use it from an IP that is linked back to you.
1 curiosity36 2017-11-20
Virtual Private Network. It connects to a server before connecting to other sites so if someone attempts to track your IP address they'll get one owned by the VPN. They're about 3 bucks a month and facilitate things like torrent downloading and add another layer of privacy to your browsing. PIA is a fairly popular one.

Be wary of bmp or png image files with strips of static/fuzzy pixels. These files can contain illegal files within, if the extension is changed to .zip, for instance.
1 ADoucheNamedBag 2017-11-20
Wait I'm not sure what you mean. Are you saying that they hide illegal files within PICTURES?
That's freaking insane and terrifying. I didn't even know that was possible, and frankly I don't understand it.
1 soundofjw 2017-11-20
Heh you can embed pictures in MUSIC. Google "FEZ SPECTOGRAPHY" - a game soundtrack which uses frequencies outside of our hearing range to embed images which relate to the games universe.
The game itself has its own flavor of rabbit hole weirdness that remains unsolved to this day. The embedded graphics range from masonic imagery to simply cryptic. Any r/conspiracy fan will love it.
1 salvv 2017-11-20
That's cool

So ELI5 is karmaisforsuckerz the bad guy? Or is makeamericagreatagain or both, I am confused as to who I should be upset at.
1 WarSanchez 2017-11-20
This is what I know so far.
KarnaisforSuckers reported users for distributing child porn images under the guise of evidence and research material.
MakeAmericaSageAgain was one of those users. Sage admits on a post that he received images of pedos with partially nude children in provocative poses.
The admins took swift action and banned Sage and possibly other users. I do not know how many and who Karma reported. Karma made it seem as tho this sub was involved and we knew about it.
I posted this as a warning to users that others are distributing child porn via messages claiming to be evidence.
It seems tho that this is a mini conspiracy itself maybe to shut this sub down?
1 MrBananaLana 2017-11-20
Thank you, damn this is getting pretty deep now. I am guessing some of the Elsagate pedo fans, are trying to silence this reddit, so it can continue. Which is horrible in itself, so sage and Karma are both bad, sage for being a creep and karma for lumping us all together.
1 WarSanchez 2017-11-20
That's my take away.
1 SkurwySynusz 2017-11-20
Thanks for the crosspost on /r/elsagate
1 WarSanchez 2017-11-20
You're more than welcome to share this post. I wasn't aware of it's existance till this post happened and didn't want to bomb a sub with this without knowing more about the sub first.
1 huktheavenged 2017-11-20
i got a PM last week but i'm a baby boomer and didn't open it!
