Tinnitus, hearing lots of people talking about a sharp rise in the ringing, change in tone. Either long barely audible drone or sharp loud short (5-10 seconds) rings. Is this related to microwave technology? New and different radar systems/weapons? 5G?

Turning off nearby electronics seems to do little, sometimes changes the tone at a minimum. Anyone notice an uptick?

Yes! Over the past 6 months or so it has gotten BAD for me. Everyday. Some days are worse than others. But it's either long, low ringing, or a sudden high pitched tone in one ear for about a minute or 2.
It's getting annoying. Trying to go to sleep when it's really loud is almost impossible.

Yes I've been experiencing this more often recently. Usually in one ear at a time.

I've been getting ringing in my ears much much more frequently over the past few months. When I experience the ringing I also experience light headedness but not in a bad way. Kind of hard the describe. For what it's worth, I don't own a microwave.

I have it bad. Oct 2001 it was so bad that I went to see my military doc, hearing tests and physical exams just showed some damage from an explosion near me in 1998.
It was hitting me in waves, no one else around me could hear it.
I tried white noise fans and cotton balls but they didn’t help. I did however get those awesome noise canceling headphones for Christmas and miraculously the noise was gone when I wore them.
It was not tinnitus, it was external. I still don’t know what I was listening too but it was very irritating and quite honestly pissed me off.
Here is what I learned from my experience. Noise canceling headphones and my basement works when the noise is faint. I have access to two sound proof audio testing rooms and with headphones on, it works when the noise is louder. But I can only go in them when no one is around.
What I know is, there is a difference between this high pitched noise and my tinnitus, but it’s close. It is external. It comes in waves but the tone can be steady while it lasts. I experience it at different volumes and I have yet to find someone else who hears it when I hear it.
What I don’t know. Is it real or am I psychotic. If it is real, what is it? The easiest answer is I am just imagining it.

Very enlightening thanks. I’ve read others mention they are the only one in the room who hears it. No history or ear damage. They weren’t musicians or around loud noises all the time.
I wonder if it targets some people or if they’re just more sensitive to it. The whole Cuban thing with US Diplomats complaining about it really had me stand up straight and notice. Maybe even the US Government aren’t behind it? Cuban Government denied it too. Maybe a private company testing something, Aliens?
Anytime anyone here hears it or something changes, unusual please make a post and note the time, maybe someone else here heard it at the exact same time?
Wonder if it’s related to the boom sounds heard worldwide lately?

I think it probably does just effect certain people. You only have to look at the anti social behaviour alarms they have in my country. They detect when kids are hanging around shops or places that anti social behaviour is happening. They send out a high pitched annoying frequency that only teenagers can hear so it does not effect the public ie adults. This can obviously be used in many different ways and strengths. Have a look at this video from 02.35 it explains about high frequency weapons. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OCGU7hQfeMw

Interesting forgot about the anti teenage loitering frequency system

It makes you think about the future and what role high frequency weapons will have. It appears they have been around for a while. It also made me think about the HAARP project "High Frequency Active Auroral Programme". Silent weapons may be the future.

Nice writeup, A+ conspiracy material because it is believable, ties in to what many people can believe they are experiencing, and there is no way of proving you wrong/ask you to demonstrate it is actually true.
1 CivilianConsumer 2017-11-25
No way of proving the ringing right via scientific papers, etc. But I have seen and heard a sharp rise in anecdotal evidence over the last year or two. Even people in real life mention their experiences.

For what it's worth, it is also a awakening symptom.

Where can I learn more about this?
1 KarmaPolice777 2017-11-25
I haven't done much research on it, just read it in passing.
This the first hit on google:

At first I attributed it to my high bp. But It’s happening too frequently. And now where there wasn’t before is a weird roaring. It comes on before I realize what it is. The roar starts (I can’t really describe it) then the ringing follows. Last a few seconds and that’s it.

Happened twice to me today within an hour or two. It's not something that I've ever really experienced regularly so I made a mental note of it. Really weird seeing this posted...

AHHHH it happened to me while I was making dinner tonight. It was really high pitched ringing in my left ear that started and stoped within maybe 10 seconds.

I have been experiencing this too.

When I lived in LA I would hear this walking down the street, a sharp piercing in my ear, a pulse that lasted like 20 seconds then stopped and repeateded cycliclly. It was terrible and only happened while there; it seemd that the city was some kind of experiment where high technology was fucking with people like rats lol. glad i moved

I actually tune into it when I meditate and can have it literally drown out every other sound. When I teach people to meditate, I tell them to use that and there is always some hater chiming in that it's "tinnitus"...
It's not.

Every make a post on here when it happens significantly to you. Wonder if they all happen at the same times and same date to everyone here?

Mine has been terrible the past couple of months. Had my BP checked and that wasn't it. It used to just be occasional bouts but now it's constant from the moment I wake up, and a whole lot "louder" too.
1 Justglitter 2017-11-25
It's been happening a lot to me recently too! I've always had trouble with my ears but recently the ringing has gotten so bad that it's all I focus on what I go to bed. I have trouble sleeping and listening and trying to focus in on the gentle buzz strangely sends me to sleep - ot kind of assists with clearing my mind and my meditation. It happens a lot more when I'm high.

Holy shit, I just noticed my left ear tinnitus suddenly got louder last night for no reason (no loud noises or such). Weird because some mentioned at work others were complaining too....
1 Mrsheeples1992 2017-11-25
I've had tinnitus since I was about 13, constant underlying ringing, high pitch. Sometimes it flares up and sounds like a grenade went off like in the movies and stays that way in one or both ears for awhile few seconds to few minutes long. Only once I've gotten vertigo from this, but I would t say it's a recent change or gradually shifted or anything. However if there is some sort of large scale reason for this that would explain it I would love to hear it.
1 varikonniemi 2017-11-25
I believe tinnitus is becoming more common since it results from a nutritional deficiency/toxic exposure that harms the delicate sound sensing cells. It is further made worse by modern food culture where we eat many meals/snack throughout the day. The body does recycling/apoptosis when we fast, and most people don't enter this state (12+hrs since previous time of ingesting calories). So the slightly damaged hearing cells don't get replaced often enough.
I get tinnitus after drinking large amounts of alcohol and noticed by accident that fasting cures/makes it almost imperceptible.
1 yvonneka 2017-11-25
Opiates also affect the ear drum, with long term opiate abuse causing hearing damage.
1 CivilianConsumer 2017-11-25
Happened to Rush Limbaugh remember?
1 CivilianConsumer 2017-11-25
Wonder if that’s related to blood pressure, fasting tends to raise it short term I believe.
1 varikonniemi 2017-11-25
I believe if you come from a high-carb (normal western) diet then it goes down. If you come from a low-carb or especially ketogenic diet then it can slightly increase due to the "stress" it adds.
1 Faggotitus 2017-11-25
It's related to headphones and earbuds and speaker tech in general.
1 Theappunderground 2017-11-25
This. This is the correct answer.
1 CivilianConsumer 2017-11-25
Makes sense, so why the sharp rise in complaints last year or two? Go back 2+ years you won’t find many posts about it at all. From what I’ve seen this is a recent phenomenon for most of the sub.

Install a satellite tracking app on your phone, or use a satellite tracking website. Next time you hear a ringing, check what's overhead. Start sharing this data with each other.

I have tinnitus and have had it for the majority of my life because I worked with power tools in manufacturing, shot guns, and went to rock concerts without hearing protection. It's nothing new.

1 Joey2strains 2017-11-25
Happened to me as well the other day while I was driving. The most high pitched that I've ever experienced. I used to drum for a regionally touring band so I'm used to having a little ringing here and there but this was on a completely different level.
1 humanefly 2017-11-25
I did some grinding and cutting of rust/metal while fixing rusted out floorboards in an old van. Basically, I was making loud noises while inside of a metal box, and so the tinnitus got worse. It's the hearing cells dying off from taking damage.
I have seen so many younger people in public wearing headphones, with volume loud enough that I can clearly hear what type of music they are listening to, that I would be extremely surprised if we did NOT currently have an epidemic of tinnitus and hearing loss.
