Abortion is population control

I'm all for a women's personal choice about her body but i think the subject matter has to be rethought. I personally have no issues with a woman wanting an abortion no matter the reasons. But has anyone stopped to think the mentality towards the subject is based more on selfishness and self preservation more than avoiding putting a child through a rough life.

Does anyone wonder why developing countries don't have abortions and 1st world countries do? Also how many rich people have abortions compared to poor people?

Why is it in people's minds that an abortion is normal if your in a financial or personal disadvantage? I am not against abortion but i think the reasons and advocacy for them are misconstrued.

I have always believed that women are the future. When women believe they shouldn't procreate we have to really consider the reasoning behind that decision. Our future is at stake.

No abortion is eugenics and that's why it's a good & necessary thing

Paul Ryan said we need more babies in America.

And yet he's unwilling to give the healthcare or the tax benefits that would reasonably support a mother to do it.

Yeah. I mean we all know that motherhood has relied on Government benefits for all of history. Women deserve compensation because of their sex, otherwise you are discriminating!

My god...

"I have always believed women are the future"..

Why just women? That doesn't even make sense.

Well you see, women will develop artificially inseminating robots using human hormones and pigs DNA crossbred with tomatoes to further populate the earth once all men have been eradicated.

Nope a better population control would be randomly or selectively administering a defertiliser secretly

The only reason needed for a woman to get is an abortion is that she owns her body. Nothing has the right to use her body againt her will, whether or not she "invited" them in. Beyond that, you shouldnt worry about it. People have their own reasons for it and it isnt effecting you

What's cool is the mother does not give one drop of blood to her child. Life is in the blood.

Food for Thought: Giving birth to a child that you know you cannot properly care for and who dies from malnourishment or diarrhea is a form of abortion.

Palestine? Anyone? I agree with your statement . Least not forget Libya.

I stated a fact and you are accusing me of supporting a war? Are you reaching?

Sorry, I was not really responding to your statement. I selfishly just wanted my comment up at the top in response to the idea of abortion as population control.

Your idea that mothers don't physically give actual blood to their fetus/child is interesting but I think anyone who is against abortion had also better be very anti-war and very pro-adoption of foreign babies. Being anti-abortion in the third world is pointless if you don't have a way to stop these babies being starved to death or bombed to death.

I'm anti banker.

It can be argued that Big Banks are one of the causes of poverty. Loaning third world printed-up/fiat currency to dictators and then demanding repayment of real money generated by companies that pay slave wages.

Ill write a post about the ultimate conspiracy about abortion if anyone is interested.

Ritual sacrifice much?

No doubt

Mass human sacrifice. Same thing satanic cults do with newborns

Sounds interesting to me

Thanks! I would love to write from a "former feminist" perspective

You might beyond to something admist your insistence to treat this as a "women's rights" issue. It isn't, and never has been. This is a lie these people tell you.

A birthed persons right to life has nothing to do with anyone else's rights. If I was a burden on you, you cannot kill me. At best, you can take me to court and get a legal order from the state to kill me. Unborn children, who are much more innocent than any birthed person, have no such rights. It is inescapable to admit that they are treated like lesser beings than birthed humans.

You might be OK with that position, but understand that's what you're arguing for. It has nothing to do with "women's rights".

Liberals say abortion is about women's rights . It is not such an issue at all.

It is an issue of the unborn having less civil rights than a household pet.

Use contraception to avoid getting pregnant or hell don't have sex if you don't want to have a child.

Only time an abortion is justifiable is a case of real rape or incest not the current me too hysteria.

>selfishness and self preservation

That's what makes the world go round.

Abortion makes me sad, but I would be super down for free birth control and even a one time tax credit for getting a vasectomy and or your tubes tied.

Nah. The big push for abortion in this country originally had to do with eliminating "undesirables" like black people and poor people.

And it's estimated that since 1973, around 16 million black babies were aborted, and a black baby these days has more if a chance of being aborted than being born in a lot of areas.

Sanger would be proud.

No, abortion is needed for unwanted children and you know, to give people a choice to do whatever it is they want.

I always wanted children than i start to realise whats thw point, why should i burden my child to live in this fucked up world, why should i make him or her exist when they have no saying to be born.

I have a child, I still feel this way. Fucking guilt. They don’t deserve this shit hole being left for them.

You can be charged for double murder if you kill a pregnant woman but that same woman can terminate the pregnancy almost until 9 months in. Why is the value of life different under these circumstances? Because it's the woman's choice? How does her choice have anything to do with whether it's a life or not?

No its actually quite racist in its origins. The founder of Planned parenthood was a physco path racist agaisnt blacks and minorities and didnt want them to breed.

There are less abortions in developing countries because they need the children in order to secure a future. Developing countries- as the name implies- don't have access to healthcare, decent living conditions, sanitary drinking water, and rely on manual labor for their agriculture and ways of life. Also, infant mortality rate in developong nations is much higher than in developed ones, mostlt due to the same reasons as listed above. Basically, they need more people because they are developing.

I assume that most abortions in the developed world aren't on a whim or a "backup plan" for the would-be parents. Instead, they realize that in their situation, financial or otherwise, they simply could not give a baby the quality of life that is expected in a first world nation. I cannot say for certain, but I'm pretty sure that when it comes time to make the actual decision, a women doesn't just flip a coin to choose to kill a fetus or not.

Abortion has been around for thousands of years, where did you get the idea that women in 3rd world countries don't get them? They may not be able to go to Planned Parenthood but abortions still take place

Food for Thought: Giving birth to a child that you know you cannot properly care for and who dies from malnourishment or diarrhea is a form of abortion.
