Doctors, Not Bombs.
6 2017-12-19 by tatertatertatertot
We waste so much money in this country on rich beltway incompetents who just get into positions where they can promise to hurt the most people, in the USA and internationally. They get themselves rich because they've got good Strongman Used Car Salesman tactics and personas, and because of that they get our cash.
What if we used that money to subsidize the training of doctors and the training of pharmaceutical chemical scientists and engineers? And then they were beholden to their society, the way (in theory) our tax dollar grants for research and education should be beholden to us, in their outcome?
Well, we'd be Cuba or India, in that regard...and then people in the media would cry out that we're socialist? Can you imagine the backlash, if we were a Medical-Industrial Society, instead of a Military-Industrial Complex? The squealing would be deafening.
But if I'm given a choice between being a socialist-warmonger society and a socialist-physician society, I know which one I choose.
We can work out a lot more political details, in a fruitful way, when we stop bombing other people, and start healing ourselves.
Our priorities as a country are all backwards. We have politicians who keep telling us what we want to hear, and doing differently.
How does it stop?

The US is a Socialist country. Why are you bitching and moaning? What... Not true Socialism™? You are the problem...

Uh?
You seem triggered by some of the words I used.
If you want to engage, as someone who disagrees, fine.
But your reply to my post is more about your projections than anything else.
Do you have something substantive to add?
If not, fine! Maybe it's a bad post! But your dismissal seems like a defense of the wasteful and murderous defense industry, as it stands right now. Was that your intent?

So because you think that, and present that as your argument, we shouldn't have the conversation about defense vs. health spending?
Ummm...
Who are you?
What's your deal?

Central economic planning is key to Socialism, which was created in 1913 with the creation of the Federal Reserve. We've been Socialist ever since. Once again, why are you bitching and moaning again? This is Socialism. Maybe... Socialism is not the answer?

Okay.
Right now, though, with what we have...you are making your choice and it's a weird one. You could easily just be against the MIC. You can't do it? You won't?
And, in any case, no one cares about our health, if we're not rich, unless we (as a group) demand that we (as a group) think everyone's health is important.
The jackals want us to forget that, the jackals want us to give health to the rich because we can't find any structure that binds us together.
You're just objecting to a post that's titled "Doctors, Not Bombs"...
Ummm....

...So, Socialism, never once?

Huh?

A medical-industrial society...
... wow... we’d aggressively invade other nations based on trumped-up evidence of diseases of mass infection. We’d stay in their country for years, patrolling their roads and distant villages for any signs of health dysfunction. We’d engage any instances of human suffering with immediate force, applying overwhelming medical-power far beyond the capabilities of the natives. We’d refuse to stop helping because we can’t seem to find the leaders of the virus groups, and insist on training local doctors and supplying them with medical instruments...
I guess the heroin dealing wouldn’t change, though.

Wow. I did not adequately consider the ingrained propaganda against health professionals and healthcare in this country when I wrote this.
My point was that we should fund doctors, and not bombs.
And people like you come out of the woodwork, with that?
Okay...?

One thing I've noticed, is... You and OP work in tandem. Almost, like you are talking to yourself. Eyes are watching ;)

If he and I were the same person, I wouldn't have fucked up and misread his comment, and then deleted my reply because I didn't get his sarcassm...

lol...

Yes.
1 tatertatertatertot 2017-12-19
Thank you for the proof.
1 tatertatertatertot 2017-12-19
No problem.
1 Putin_loves_cats 2017-12-19
Now, you're just trying to hard...

I thought it was funny.
Well, it was to me.
We get the joke.
Even if one of us doesn't laugh.
1 Putin_loves_cats 2017-12-19
Who's we? Yo', are you talking to yourself? Dats not healthy...
1 tatertatertatertot 2017-12-19
We're all talking to ourselves, that's clear.
1 Putin_loves_cats 2017-12-19
Okie dokie...
1 tatertatertatertot 2017-12-19
Dokie okie!

Oh my fucking god, dude... there has to be sufficient circumstantial evidence to report you for shill accusations at this point.
1 Putin_loves_cats 2017-12-19
Try. You'll lose, though. Having alts and talking to yourself, is not shilling, nor did I call you a shill. It could be a sign of mental illness, though. Not saying here or there, because I'm not a psychiatrist ;)
1 tatertatertatertot 2017-12-19
Accusing everyone who disagrees with you, when you pop into a thread and say nonsense without substance or purpose, with being the same person, is really weak.
You're right that the mods will never ban you for this stuff, but it's sad nevertheless.
1 Putin_loves_cats 2017-12-19
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
1 tatertatertatertot 2017-12-19
Well, you sure know how to wreck a potential discussion with nonsense, I'll give you that. Why you do it, I'm not sure. But the skill is there!

Meh, Marxists need a ride on a helicopter...

Delusions of reference are also indicative of mental illness. Like connecting two users who post frequently as the same person.
You know, I’d just ignore you if I were a more rational person, but you make so many terrible arguments on various topics that I just can’t.
1 Putin_loves_cats 2017-12-19
lol, just can't quit me, huh? Weird...
1 MoronToTheKore 2017-12-19
Keep telling yourself that you’re in control, here. That you know what’s going on, that you’re smarter... whatever you want. Jesus Christ.

Who the fuck wants to be in India or Cuba? Indians and Cubans want to come to the USA.
1 Suburban_Nigga 2017-12-19
It's a oligarchy. Why focus funds to the poor when I have private doctors.
1 skorponok 2017-12-19
The last people we should turn to to help us are doctors. Absolutely they are part of the problem
1 Putin_loves_cats 2017-12-19
Okie dokie...
