Reddit manipulation - comments and proof

35  2017-12-30 by life_is_cheap

I clicked on this 50k post on /r/all and found duplicate top comments in the comment thread. This further strengthens my belief that reddit is manipulated.

here's an image of the comments

3 comments are made each receiving over 1000 upvotes then further down the thread the exact same 3 comments are made again by different accounts and get 600 upvotes.

UPDATE: I want to point out something very interesting; The first comment chain leads to a video about Chinese robots. The second comment chain leads to a video about Amazon's robots. These are two upvoted comment chains leading to videos about two major Corporation's videos. This is very suspicious.

While not required, you are requested to use the NP (No Participation) domain of reddit when crossposting. This helps to protect both your account, and the accounts of other users, from administrative shadowbans. The NP domain can be accessed by replacing the "www" in your reddit link with "np".

ss: A post on /r/all has repeated duplicate comments in the comment thread all made by different accounts and all receiving the highest amount of upvotes. I've seen this happen a lot.

Good find. That cannot be organic.

Robots manipulating comments about robots? Have the machines started to rise? ;)

My quote for today (after not sleeping & watching black mirror, admittedly) is "funny but not a joke". I made a post a little while ago noting that a bot posted a worldnews frontpage post about bots

It's almost like someone accidentally made a double post (like is common) and both got upvoted. Just like both tend to get downvoted if it's bullshit.

This is the biggest nothing urgent of proof of anything.

Not saying Reddit isn't manipulated. But your evidence is, quite honestly, laughable to anyone that has even a passing understanding of Reddit and has seen double posts all over the place.

Why do to come to r/conspiracy just to be a prick? Do you know how to disagree with someone without getting so emotional?

double posts by two different accounts? I don't get it... Do you work for reddit or something?

A post doesn't get 50k upvotes without being gamed in some way.

Good find. That cannot be organic.
