During the 2016 election, both candidates missed states while they campaigned, yet neither missed campaigning in a foriegn country during the most important part of their campaigns. If we are worried about foriegn countries influencing, why doesn't anyone talk about Israel?

Both candidates went to Israel while skipping us states. If you want to reach the most voters, why go to another country while campaigning? Its the craziest thing that candidates can go to a foreign country during the campaign and no one blinks, but Russia spending 500 dollars on facebook ads is a bigger deal? If foriegn bodies are not allowed in, why does Israel get special treatment. Blaiming Russia keeps people from seeing Israel's influence.

Am i missing something? Everyone talks about Israeli influence in US politics, all the time.

Surely it is one of the most discussed topics on CT boards throughout the years?

I am talking about msm. They both aired Clinton and trumps campaign going to Israel in Sept and October and act like its not weird that candidates are going to foriegn country to campaign but make a huge deal about russia making facebook ads.

Yeah i'd agree with you about MSM.

I thought the 'we' meant CTers.

This is a news sub now

I see it as one of the last minimal influenced areas that's not too agenda driven. Sure there are agenda agents but there are also independents truely curious. But both sides can agree that foriegn bodies meddle in our elections or else candidates wouldn't go to another country when trying to win American votes...

It would be nice if it was actually like that. In reality it’s 44.5% all libs are bad, 44.5% all conservatives are bad, and 1% people who actually consider all available evidence and at least try to come to an informed decision. Users you’d think are completely reasonable often turn out to be just another firm believer in whatever propaganda they’ve managed to absorb.

Why bother with some US state when you can please the whole zionist owned media, some jewish mega donors, and the evangelicals all at once? Hopefully one day visiting israel will be a risky proposition for US politicians and not an easy way to gain votes and cash.

Trump went there and promised Jerusalem and then surged in October as Wikileaks ramped up leaks that showed Clinton's stance on Israel and jcpoa and Obama. Its beyond obvious who was helping Wikileaks IMO.

Whoa, that is an interesting idea.

Maybe Mossad was the one behind the October 2016 takeover of wikileaks.

Another question: Why are state governors going to Israel to meet with Benji?

https://governorblog.utah.gov/2017/10/governor-returns-from-trade-mission-to-israel-and-jordan/

I know it says business ties, but why are governors doing this? Seems like the role of state departments, national leaders, not State leaders. Also, so many states are signing onto the anti-BDS train, which seems unconstitutional. I could be wrong. I'm just tired of Israeli influence. (Also British banking influence, but that's another topic)

Whoever puts in the papers to run for president has to be accepted by Israeli government

Just watch this video and see how candidates seeking public office have to pledge allegiance to Israel

I definitely think Russia had a propaganda operation and still does. Putting is old school kgb and has continued the intelligence war the us didn't even know was happening bc we were focused on the me

I think Israel is the real deep state that runs the us government though and Russia is a convenient distraction while Trump pushes the Zionist agenda even more aggressively than Clinton would have.

Semi related. I'm curious why Trump would spend 1 second In California campaigning? If you were him would you exert 10 calories and / or spend $3 in California? Israel is one thing, skipping states just proves an IQ above room temperature. Fighting a battle one can't win seems... wasteful.
