Abe’s was a meddler. He was a closeted Pakistani, definitely bi-polar. A smoker of opium, some people think he may have been a woman. Now, I can’t find any evidence of that, but I do know that his children were not his own. And the penny, a scam. Did you know that each penny cost 1.7 cents to produce. These bankers, they get rich. Literally on our dime. As been the story they plant us, since they took us of the gold standard. Governments and banks, they are the same thing! Remember that, and life won’t seem so strange. They are taking you in the front and in the rear! That’s America.

He also had people arrested for speaking out against the Civil War, and it wasn't exactly rare that he did that. He is not the hero many perceive him to be. Then again, no president really is.

I may be wrong, but it may be the interest owed to the mint, i.e. National debt, not a cost handed down to bankers.

Unless the minerals used plus production equates to 1.7 cents.

I actually think the penny did cost more than 1 cent to make (at one time). I think it was the copper that made it more expensive to make. I'm assuming they don't use copper now (or not as much).

Older pennies that are solid copper are worth than one cent I believe. Now they use a combo of zinc and copper I think.

So far as I know it costs more then they are worth to make penny’s and nickles but they make up for it with the higher denomination coins that cost less then they are worth to produce.

Ay! Yeah- I wanna say thanks for all the insight over here. I didn’t know I needed to be this paranoid until Reddit opened my mind to how awful society is. It’s really very useful. I used to have a job and a wife, but I was so naïve, now I live in a bunker, armed to the teeth and free from the human corrupting agents and I’m much happier.
