Live in metro Detroit area. Heard the boom, rumbled the walls a bit. Folks here claiming to have seen it say it appeared to be a meteor. See people from Monroe county (south of Detroit) up to Midland county (2 hours north of Detroit) hearing, seeing and feeling it. Very strange.

A Lot of these happening around the US atm, as well as overseas. Wonder whats going on up there?!
Big believer in synchronicity at times, and lately I've seen article on things like Nibiru, The entire planet has had a "space army" for quite some time and have seen action ... to things like theyre weaponizing space and there's this huge rock with a force field flying around out there.
Not saying any of it is true or false, but, it does tell me to pay attention to whats going on above the clouds sometimes.
Most likely. Either way, if they all are, or even half are... Why the sudden increase. I dont remember a tenth as many reportings of booms in the 90s or 2000s.
No, but we still had eyes and ears... Im not paranoid whatsoever. And i feel theres been an increase in sightings and news reports.. Not just reddit burnouts
was driving home from detroit after work and caught it. would love to think it was something more than a meteor but that’s all it looked like unfortunately. cool sight though!
The Taylor, Michigan rumor started from a garage fire from a pickup truck. It just happened to be at the same time as the meteor. I live in Michigan and I haven't been able to find any reliable reports of the meteor actually impacting the ground.

Apparently guy was a prick:
"Eliot Dolgin @EliotDolgin
That GIF was NOT the actual meteor, folks! Sorry for the confusion."

i used to study a lot on Nibiru as a young child! can you explain a little more what this might have to do?
1 TheDaisyCutter 2018-01-17
Increase in meteors and space debris due to the space junk that would apparently be tagging along with something like nibiru, if it existed.
1 Fllixys 2018-01-17
that’d be terrifying if Nibiru was that close to us
1 TheDaisyCutter 2018-01-17
No kidding haha!
I feel there are lots of atmospheric anomalies happening as well... So who knows haha
1 Fllixys 2018-01-17
what are some others that’s been happening? it’s even more terrifying i live decently close to Michigan...

Was clearly a meteor

That's because the 90s and 00s didn't have constant paranoid /r/conspiracy threads shouting "ITS HAPPENING!" At every meteor.

Did you have eyes and ears in every part of the country with instant access to everyone else's eyes and ears?
No. You didn't.
1 TheDaisyCutter 2018-01-17
Exactly. How many reports do you not even hear of....
1 Voldewarts 2018-01-17
What do you mean? Source?
1 TheDaisyCutter 2018-01-17
I just seen a thread on here or maybe another site about it. I was moreso making a point that people are directing attention.
Ill have a look

Saw the flash of light, thought it was weird lightning, or a electricity transformer blowing.
