Love this part,
Refaie sent me a series of long messages on Signal describing the FBI surveillance, and he expressed some concerns that his story, once told, might embolden conspiracy theorists who are being followed not by real agents but by ghosts in their heads.

Who knows if the usb is real... but on youtube(?) or more likely liveleak, tons of people watched them... especially after they were in the news for “Jihadi John” a couple of years ago. Or people who are just into war/gore videos. Or people on 4chan etc. I have watched some. That is a ridiculously loose tie to ISIS. Like saying if you watched (or own a DVD of) a documentary on Hitler or the Nazis that you are a Nazi.

Pssshhhhiiiitttt, this is like old-school, caveman, knuckle-dragging, goon-style recruitment techniques. The new school, tier-1 agencies just drop a little bug into a prospects ear (or they get a 3-d map of your eardrum using that as a target lock for satellite transmissions and go bug-less) and go from there. Then one day you wake up with something that sounds like a screechy little version of that antagonistic voice in 12 monkeys that proceeds to molest your whole life with psychic driving techniques culled from the mk ultra program. Sounds relatively innocuous right? Yeah, try a few 24 hour cycles of "Reeeeeeeeee, were gonna rape your whole family for generations unless you come out with your hands up and you pants around your ankles, Reeeeeeeeee..." and then see how you feel. You might get a little break once in awhile to pass out, but of course you can't trust your own thoughts, your own dreams, because bitch bug can impersonate you and will whisper shit to you on a subliminal level in your own voice while you're weak. Usually it's stuff that is more or less in line with your personality, like "hey bucko, go ahead and have an extra Oxy, it'll help with the stress," so it's that much harder to tell the forest from the trees.
Don't like the idea of some anonymous, unaccountable, government agency mentally raping your whole life like some little rat-fuck, ass-cunt, maggot, bitch, fucking wanna be shadow warrior pussy, coward? Ok, now you're an enemy of the state and a prisoner of the New World Order. Too bad though tough guy, you could been a hard charging soldier cutting off Taliban heads, getting rich and living the adventure of a lifetime, instead you're an unemployable schizo, drug addict with a whole lotta porn on your hard drive.
