Just look for more and more of your constitutional rights to be erroded away as we head into a police state where their "authority" trumps your Constitutional Rights.

Our police forces look more and more like PMCs than civil servants. The 2015 revelation that Chicago Police were running an illegal black site to abuse and hold victims at their discretion shows us how little we know about their hidden operations.

I wonder if any more will be exposed soon.

I remember this from when it came out. Pretty frightening to think your right to habeas corpus is more decorative than protective. I don't remember hearing any followup or resolution to this story either.
