The interpretation you're making is based on an assumption of causality: "Q is believable because he predicted this."

but a more realistic interpretation would be: "Q is believable because of 100 other reasons. Oh by the way, he mentioned to watch out for something like this".

Actually...I saw some fireworks go off in Virginia City one time that sent two firefighters flying about 30 or 40 feet once on July 4th...So..if it was a professional grade firework..I think it could..that being said..

Where would it come from..and..how exactly did it detonate? Like you said...stepping on it wouldn't do it...
