Basically Strava is a company that uploads workout route information for people who have FitBits and Smart Watches, or other fitness monitoring gear to GPS track your route. You can look at the heatmap where military bases are and locate them as there is usually someone trying to be trendy and has a smart watch. Interesting nonetheless. The satellite image is superb and it's neat. Could figure out patrol routes maybe or underground bases.

What kind of monsters don't allow aliens to use fitbits at area 51?!?! /s
Although this tool is pretty cool. Saw that at Pine Gap base here in Australia they have some sort of running track for the people based there a couple km's around the desert base and that they also do a lot of biking in the facility. I think after they see this tool though they'll probably ban fitbits and smart watches

this is exactly why pokemon go was banned in china. the government came right out and said they did not want to risk exposure of their concealed bases.

Absolutely no smart devices are allowed into buildings like Stratcom or NORAD.

Lol this is crazy. Chinese now have a full map of all us secret bases and and probably extrapolate troop concentrations.
I’m surprised US military allows its people to have personal smart devices. Wow.

I'm sure the really really secret ones they take precautions, however it's a lot of data that doesn't need to be out there. Maybe we can use this to show people that big data is a scary future that we are heading to on a rollercoaster.

Can also see where the money is. I've pulled up a couple areas I've lived or have demographic knowledge of, and the whitest lines are centered around the richest areas.
