I am predicting this will be censored from /r/todayIlearned within 6 hours "TIL Coca-Cola was accused of hiring hitmen from a prominent paramilitary group between 1990 and 2002 to kill at least 10 trade union leaders."

The current top post on /r/todayIlearned has this title; ""TIL Coca-Cola was accused of hiring hitmen from a prominent paramilitary group between 1990 and 2002 to kill at least 10 trade union leaders.""- https://www.telesurtv.net/english/news/Colombia-Coca-Cola-Accused-of-Funding-Terrorist-Paramilitaries-20160901-0005.html
I am predicting the submissions will be censored within 2-3 hours. If it ends up censored it should end up on /r/undelete.
I will update this post should that censorship occur.
It is now 5:47 am and the post is currently up on /r/todayilearned- https://i.imgur.com/3HYmtOb.png
Still up as of 12:15PM EST, I will edit again at the end of the day. If my prediction ends up being incorrect then so be it, I am not upset at having been proven wrong.

I'm not sure why you're being downvoted, anyone who has watched undelete for years know It's their SOP.
1 ShillTeamVI 2018-01-31
Anyone who watches undelete for years probably takes reddit to seriously.

Maybe, at least I don't try to belittle or marginalize other people's interests.

Not sure how long you've been on Reddit but this has been posted, many, many times through the last 5 years, across a plethora of subreddits.
This isn't new information.

Oh I see, sadly its my first day here. Nice site though I guess :).

Well apparently you had your head in the sand, because this has been all over reddit through the years. Congrats that it isn'tyour first day, maybe do a basic search before you act like this is breaking news from 10 years ago...

I didn't know about it, Mr God Of All Hitman Experts! Reposts don't happen so much in /r/conspiracy. This isn't /r/funny, y'know.

Maybe do a basic search sometime, Mr. I am new to the internet and haven't heard of corporate corruption.

Hey look, 35 seconds of work.
How many users to you think come to reddit just to subscrbime to r/conspiracy
Everything on reddit is a repost, of a repost, of a repost.
And to counter-argue that there are not many reposts on r/conspiracy, well than completely validates your inexperience with r/conspiracy. r/conspiracy is a never-ending circlejerk of the same shit, just regrugitated to fit the narrative.

Will you also update this post if the censorship doesn't occur and reevaluate the possibilities?

You can track the removal by viewing the front page of todayIlearned while logged out from your reddit account in an incognito window. Sometimes reddit displays removed submissions as still in the hot queue if you post the content (as a way to trick you into thinking it was not censored).
/r/undelete will also track it.

And Coca Cola has long been accused and occasionally convicted of being a convenient cover for CIA spying and other covert operations around the world and giving CIA operatives a place to hang their hat and set-up shop.
Moreover, when CIA operatives are documented and listed as so-called "employees" of Coca Cola their real activities are conveniently shielded from any FOIA requests. Microsoft is another among numerous others in that particular club.
Sherman Skolnick wrote a 16 part series on Coca-Cola, the CIA and the courts. One item of interest in that worth mentioning is that the original Coca Cola formula really did contain cocaine which was removed around the turn of the last century. Not as well known, however, is that the base syrup is still made with cocoa leaves that cocaine just happens to be by-product of that the company that makes it for Coca-Cola claims that it sells to the pharmaceutical companies.
1 famnf 2018-01-31
Interesting information. Thanks for posting. Just a small correction, which may just be a typo. It's coca leaves. Cocoa is made from a different plant.
1 Loose-ends 2018-01-31
Uh-"o", not sure how hat got in there but it isn't now. lol
1 bartfutt 2018-01-31
At this point, I'm of the belief that any significant American* company/organization would have been at least approached by the CIA. I mean, it would be silly for the CIA not to.
If it weren't so nefarious and wrong, the level of strategic thinking they employ would almost be fun.
*Does it even have to be American?
1 Loose-ends 2018-01-31
What the CIA does outside of the US is patently "illegal". You run an honest business that makes a good profit for you in a foreign country the last thing you'd want would be to have anything to do with the CIA or anything it gets up to having anything to do with you.
Unfortunately the exploitative nature of too many US businesses and multinationals abroad already depends on the US government using or having used whatever political, economic and financial pressure was necessary to pave the way for them, and that includes CIA activity to stir-up plenty of local trouble for them, too.
1 Arkfort 2018-01-31
Let's not forget that Allen & Co who employs former CIA director George Tenet plays a major part in Coca Cola's board of directors.

“It’s the Real Thing”
1 Loose-ends 2018-01-31
It was the "real thing" in Nazi Germany and made money all through WWII until they couldn't import any more coke syrup so they doctored-up the formula and created a new soda pop for the Third Reich from what was available that they called "Fanta"... now you know where that trade name actually originated.
1 RetrogradeAdvance 2018-01-31
One of the great aspects of American corporate prevalence is the ability to insert assets pretty much anywhere around the world with an American corporate presence.
1 Loose-ends 2018-01-31
It's called "Full Spectrum Dominance" and it shows no respect for anyone else, friend or foe.
Everyone gets pushed to wall in order for the US to take the lion's share of the profits. Sooner or later there's going to be a price to be paid due to all the built-up resentment that has caused and is continuing to cause.
The Russians and Chinese continue to grow by striking fair and even generous deals as a matter of policy knowing that it only encourages more of them that their trading partners can better afford to engage in.
A win-win philosophy that is paying off by steadily raising their own and their trading partners standards of living while the US pursues a course of keeping their partners down as much as possible to more easily exploit them.

Coca-Cola isn't alone in this, as other corporations participated in financing paramilitary groups, that really were death squads, and sometimes worked with the colombian army to massacre peasants accused of helping the guerrillas.
People defending environment/natural resources against corporate interests, and restoration of land rights (lot stolen by criminals through the years of war/conflict) are the top targets these days.
Also, don't forget the top comment that show the issue of publicly denouncing these issues:

Considering anything anti US and anti US corporation gets removed quite fast or downvoted, having coke TIL up on front page for so long is impressive. But the core of the problem is that systematic destruction of unions in US has led to sucah a shit economy for the workers. The corps and rich are doing great! They even get tax cuts, but everyone else is suffering.

I'm not surprised. In the Western world we live in societies run by crooked politicians; basically an organized crime network of globalists looking to open the borders, create chaos and eventually monetize a single currency.
Capital punishment is alive and well in the Western World, sadly it only affects the innocent while the murderers walk free amongst the elite.

JFK was killed by soft drink companies because of the embargo on Cuba that caused sugar prices to rise. Nixon lied about where he was during the assassination, and was on the board of directors of Pepsi in a meeting the day before the assassination in Houston.

On the morning of November 21, Nixon met with reporters at the Baker Hotel in downtown Dallas. He noted that Kennedy had lost support in Texas, which was true; indeed, that was Kennedy’s main reason for visiting the state with his Texan vice-president, Lyndon Johnson.
