Nothing makes me angrier than someone writing something and ending it with three periods. Fucking elaborate so some of us can do some actual investigation since you’re apparently too lazy to.

Here's an NBC article on it.
1 BaronMoriarty 2018-02-06
Why is that?...
1 GoldenTruth 2018-02-06
But if he did that...
1 Strike_Williams 2018-02-06
You used it correctly.

The Earthquake guy says all the Earthquakes in Alaska are a build up to a big one on the east coast.
1 OcculusResurrectio 2018-02-06
So does Dutchinse right?
1 Nothingaddsup 2018-02-06
I don't know much about earthquakes but wouldn't many small quakes lessen the chance of a big one? The smaller quakes would release energy the plates have built up.

This isn't /r/science, it's /r/conspiracy.

Weaker foreshocks before the mainshock are pretty typical (followed by aftershocks), but Alaska to East Coast is nonsense. East coast or North America is a passive margin. There are some tectonically active areas in the Caribbean that could pose tsunami risks though.

Earthquake guy was wrong about his NY quake prediction.
1 LostLarry 2018-02-06
......or was he? Perhaps they stopped it?
1 tatertatertatertot 2018-02-06
Oh good grief...
"I wasn't wrong...in fact, my prediction was so right that I SAVED PEOPLE FROM DEATH" is one of the most ridiculous ways to wriggle out of being wrong.
In any case, he's not saying that earthquakes are man-made and could be stopped. He's using solar flares or something to predict it.
1 LostLarry 2018-02-06
Earthquakes can be man made. Some Earthquakes ARE man made. He even says that.
I guess you have not heard of fracking, or HAARP or many of the other methods talked about in this sub about creating earthquakes.
His predictions are closer to real then not. And no he does not use solar flare model completely. But you seem to have a lock on all the information out there.
1 Crangrapejoose 2018-02-06
Just because he was wrong doesn't make him any less credible. He has been right A LOT and it's kind of scary honestly. It makes sense though because of tectonic shifts and the way earthquakes affect the stress in the ground, eventually a BIG one is inevitable as every material has a breaking point.

WHAT? I thought it's extremely rare for a tsunami to hit the east coast.
1 187ninjuh 2018-02-06
Someone's gotta be hacking these systems...
1 Dumbolebroad 2018-02-06
Exactly what I thought as well!
1 Mr_Quagmire 2018-02-06
There's either some large scale conditioning being conducted or something big is going on that we're not being told about.
1 capitolshill 2018-02-06
I believe it may be both.

What time was the warning at?

I’m on the East Coast. Haven’t heard about this...... (If 3 pisses you off, let’s try 6......)

I live in Florida and got the alert at 8:31 am. I have included a screenshot. It was sent to everyone on the east coast with push notifications on for the Accuweather app. The warning read, “Severe Weather Alert: Tsuanmi Warning in effect.” Accuweather said it was a “test to determine transmission times involved in the dissemination of tsunami information.” Tsunami Warning

Received it from weather.com app here. Specified Boston Harbor as the location of the warning.
1 ephon4life 2018-02-06
It's funny that our disaster preparedness is now having the opposite effect, i.e. boy who cried wolf. People will see a warning and not react to it. Intentional?
Just having some fun here, but remember the theories that the incoming ICBM alert in Hawaii/Japan was actually a meteor? then there was the actual one in Michigan...so now, what could causes a tsunami randomly on the east coast?

This isn't new and I am surprised people think it is. Just look at tornados in the United States. Weather is terribly hard to predict and tornados are the absolute hardest to know where they will form, how big, how long, and their path. This is why warnings and watches are large boxed off areas where all conditions are met. Think of how many folk have had 2,3,4,5+ tornado warnings and have never seen one nor has one been super close (aka their town). Now these people see a warning and think "weather people are lying again" and this is the one that hits them. Its just basic human nature and a huge issue internally with the weather service about issuing warnings.
That being said these reports are more than likely a combination of stupid people and coincidences. Everyone on this sub likes to connect dots even if none exist. People forget how dumb humans can be. It is possible a person was caught up in a drill and didn't get the drill info and thought it was real. It was possible it was a system error (especially with accuweather). It is less likely the government is conditioning people to ignore tsunami threats bc I would be willing to bet 80% of the US east coast would be like wtf do I do in case of a tsunami.
1 itshereisitnot 2018-02-06
Look up HAARP. Weather control.
1 zuukinifresh 2018-02-06
I have a degree in meteorology. It isn't possible.
1 itshereisitnot 2018-02-06
How? Can’t just say “ I have a degree in such field”
1 zuukinifresh 2018-02-06
I mean its basic thermodynamics, physics and math but dumbed down to make short: initial conditions cause weather (wind xx, temp xx, humidity xx leads to rain, etc) and the biggest problem with this is that even a slight change in conditions can lead to a completely different outcome. Hence weather prediction is very hard. Even more so because the same general conditions can still lead to different outcomes. It would be impossible to find a condition to create weather, let alone have those atmospheric conditions so fine tuned over such a large scale that they would be perfect to get whatever weather you wanted. If you want more info I suggest researching the mathematics and physics behind meteorology just to see how finicky the entire atmosphere is.

There was a tsunami warning for New Orleans this morning that turned out to be a test.
1 OcculusResurrectio 2018-02-06
That would be a very large tsunami
1 wile_e_chicken 2018-02-06
Not seeing any mention of it on dutchsince's channel, at least not in the video titles.
1 NaveenMohamed 2018-02-06
What I find the most eerie about this is the fact that images of a tsunami destroying New York are carved into pillars of the Cathedral of Saint John the Divine in NYC: http://www.harekrsna.com/sun/editorials/10-12/columns.jpg
Consider reading this Vigilant Citizen article about the Cathedral: https://vigilantcitizen.com/sinistersites/sinister-sites-st-john-the-divine-cathedral/

An app posted a notification, It wasn’t the government that did this. I don’t see this as a conspiracy!
1 freesp33chisstilldea 2018-02-06
I was thinking the same thing. It's a fuckin AccuWeather notification, they tell me it's going to snow or rain everyday, and it doesn't. They're annoying as hell and easy to turn off.
1 Askmenothingok 2018-02-06
I don’t let apps send any notifications!
1 sheeplewatcher 2018-02-06
...Sorry I didn't complete the thought from my post. Interesting that there was some people who received the warning and some who did.
