Stumbled into a [Meta] conspiracy.

So this morning I was doing my usual rounds on my favorite subs to post on or lurk for laughs when I noticed this thread on r/CBTS_Stream

TLDR on that: CBTS is moving to VOAT at the orders of "Pamphlet" (Still no clue who that is).

I found it odd since they were claiming their sub had been targeted by hackers that were deleting posts. I also noticed on earlier threads concerning this topic any asking for proof was met with a "if you have to ask for proof, you are probably a part of this".

I asked for proof and initially was met with the usual sea of downvotes for my skepticism.

Then I started explaining how the users could prove it using archive links. I was being a bit of a dick, even posting the thread to r/drama because the users there seemed so odd and unwilling to face the facts that their mods were acting sketchy.

I remembered what keeps the mods here honest: the mod log, so I went to their new cue stream on github since they don't have a mod log (sidenote: thanks for the mod log guys) and saw I was right, it's not hackers but their own mods fucking with users. There was no rhyme or reason for the [removals] some users were still buying the mod hacker story.

So I went and let them know about this new tool to prove my point

My thread stayed up for a suprising amount of time.

The mod/s doing the censoring started un-removing posts and trying to do damage control. Then my post got dinged and [removed].

There are users now calling for answers but I doubt the mods will respond.

How many mods are in on it, why lie to move to VOAT, why let my post stay for so long while deleting other threads?

So many questions, little to no answers.

One thing is certain, the mods there are compromised and trolling their user base.

Edit: I have been banned from the sub for showing their users that their mods are corrupt fucks.

Stop thinking about mods as a cohesive unit. I mean, I will back a mod decision here on principle because any hint of dispute is manipulated by forum lice. But we don't agree on everything. I would love to see their modmail lol.

I know all do not share the same ideas or politics. i'm saying either the head mod is doing it all and threatning others to keeo silent or most are inept at being mods and don't know they have a troll among them.

WarSanchez speaks the truth. I witnessed the pot boil over this morning too. Since the modlog is private, you can cross check ceddit. The mod(s) are the ones removing posts and simultaneously pushing the anti censorship hashtag.

Update: mod redpilltheworld just made a sticky with the hashtag campaign #noeditreddit. Not three minutes before that, a half dozen 1 day old accts spammed the same hashtag. They are using obvious alts to bolster their theme.

User base is being played.
