We have officially been silenced!
0 2018-02-22 by Americatheretard
Background...I've been researching "conspiracy theories" for approx 11 years. In that time I've used trusty Google and Youtube to do the vast majority of my research...there has never been a time in those 11 years that I've noticed what I'm noticing now. Google "Florida school shooting hoax" see what comes up. Pages upon pages of CNN, MSNBC, TIME, FOX, Snopes, USAToday etc etc...keep hitting next page...same sh@t! Go to Youtube, search same topic, absolutely nothing. When did this blatant censorship and banning of any info contrary to official stories really start happening? Looking back I want to say it really started becoming obvious during the Primaries between Clinton and Trump and Pizzagate. Is this what we should expect going forward...how does anyone spread ideas with everything locked down like we live in communist China? America the free my ass...

'they' are cracking down on 'fake news' with their algorithms to mostly pull from 'trusted media'. They are in full damage control after losing the election

There has to come a point where the person just wont believe any big news about an important topic. Then it doesnt really matter any more if you can find some info or not, because you already know that the new horrible thing that has happened, is fake or just orchestrated and serves a agenda. I dont even pay any attention to the shootings, politics etc, its all show, its all bullshit and it doesnt really matter what are the details, you can get lost in the details. Just my .02c.

You need to go to the Flat Earth and "Outer Space hoax" channels to find the real conspiracy community now. Until people get to that level they are just being jerked around by the system. We are in a spiritual battle and everything else is a distraction from that.

I'm not sure the push-back from TPTB against forums like conspiracy isn't just their frantic evacuation of the "truth" space and preparation of the "NewThink" space. They must have known that as soon as 9/11 disbelief grew past 50% of Americans (now) they would be dealing with an electorate, not a cell.

I like how flat earth started out as a psyop but now is the only movement that questions everything. Its filled with people who know nothing about physics, added in some fear mongering and stuff, but yes you might be right. All those politic conspiracies, assassinations and all else on that similar vein, its all just bouncing around in the allowed limits of discussion. Nothing deeper like where the heck are we living in, what is the meaning of existence.
1 torkarl 2018-02-22
Actually I have stumbled into quite a few of those here. And somehow those fit conspiracy as well or better than any other forum, possibly because most committed users here get trained for flexibility with the uncanny corners of our world.
1 Janoz 2018-02-22
Oh I'm getting very close to that, I've narrowed it down to 2 possibilities.
1 YetisInAtlanta 2018-02-22
well im interested
1 Americatheretard 2018-02-22
Yes I've come to basically the same conclusion. Nothing is to be trusted, but I do like to do some research before automatically shouting fake/fraud/conspiracy.
1 Janoz 2018-02-22
Thing is, where do you find the correct information? The current tactic is to drown people in misinfo so you have to search through a ton of info. If you're not a researcher who does that for his living, then I find it takes too much time to find good stuff.

That's pretty much my mindset now too.

Convincing people to stop paying attention is goal #1 of the KGB propaganda playbook, you really need to watch Aleksandr Dugin's lectures on youtube. (He's the author of Foundations of Geopolitics).
When you barrage the public with so many angles and stories, it doesn't matter if they are factual or made up, eventually everyone just stops caring about everything.
Then they can do what they want without repercussion. It is literally their goal.
1 Janoz 2018-02-22
Maybe I was unclear about that part, but its not that I don't care what the bad guys are doing, because I do. But I just don't trust the authorities and politicians and high level government. I think its totally different than apathy.
1 Pumpkin_Creepface 2018-02-22
I don't trust but a tiny handful of our governing authorities either, but that has always been the case.
And I've been into politics since the mid-Reagan era.
Never before had I seen the degree of white-noise media exhaustion that I have witnessed these last 3 years.
And I was glued to CNN for 3 solid months after 9/11.
And it wasn't until a friend of mine showed me some of Dugin's lectures that I realized that the overstimulation and semantic satiation present is exactly in line with Cold War Russian propaganda techniques developed initially on their own people, and reaching a point of terrifying competence that helped propel that sociopath Putin into high office.
The parallels between the Russian media during his rise to power, the events and the dissemination of them, exactly mirror the established media patterns that exposed troll farms use.
This is too much to be a coincidence.

It might have something to do with intelligent people finally cracking down on horseshit stories believed only by morons like the contributors to /r/conspiracy.
1 Americatheretard 2018-02-22
Yes, Google owns Facebook...but like eveything else it's all tied together. Facebook, Instagram...social media in general are all deleting/filtering out what they deem to be "fake news". The term "fake news" is the new "conspiracy theorist" gotcha term to make people automatically disregard as irrelevant and crazy.

Skip to roughly page 11, and that's where you'll find the actual search results.
1 misto1481 2018-02-22
Google and Youtube have an agenda to push everything that aligns with the mainstream narrative to the front of the search engine and any alternative gets buried way in the back. It is definitely a form of censorship as they are trying to stifle research hoping most will see the same story everywhere and accept it or get frustrated enough to give up looking for the truth after shifting through 10+ search pages. They don't know us very well, do they ;)
1 Tunderbar1 2018-02-22
Youtube keeps showing in my feed MSNBC, CNN, Colbert Report, Jimmy Kimmel, etc. and i keep marking them as "not interested", and they keep showing up.
Nothing suspicious there. /s

Not being able to find something with google does not equate to being silenced.
1 Americatheretard 2018-02-22
Oh I'm sorry, what would you call it? When the people no longer have a valid forum to search the internet of all things, and get impartial search results... or be able to post a video that might be contrary to the official version of said story...Go troll someone else's post.

Just don't bend to these authoritarian liars and never stop.
1 MAGAParty 2018-02-22
Youtube is part of the Media Industrial Complex (Google, CNN, FBI/Deep State etc.). We need some alternative site, but it will never be as big as youtube. They own the video sharing market. Unless google is destroyed, there is no way.
1 Pumpkin_Creepface 2018-02-22
Possibly because alternate theories to the official story have all been debunked?
You aren't being censored, this is the internet routing around bullshit. Which is one of its best features. It just doesn't always work.
1 treeslooklikelamb 2018-02-22
Who gets to decide what's debunked and bullshit?
1 Pumpkin_Creepface 2018-02-22
Each of us individually exercising our rational judgment and then aggregating our perspectives so the most valid get the most exposure.
Human aggregate response is really a decent self-correcting mechanism providing everyone plays with intellectual honesty.
Of course when you become susceptible to propaganda and media manipulation, you lose that advantage and errors compound until your worldview is so full of self-contradictory concepts that it collapses, leaving the person a useless wreck.
For example:
1 treeslooklikelamb 2018-02-22
How about when these perspectives are tweaked and/or fabricated?
The minority is the loudest...
1 Pumpkin_Creepface 2018-02-22
Only when we forget they are the minority.
The problem is that we as humanity hunger for a 'hated other' that we can heap all of our problems on and cast stones of impotent frustration against.
We want it to be a singular entity responsible for all problems instead of what truly is at the root: a massively complex geopolitical system of power brokers and individual engagers that all have their own intents and goals.
So we call the enemy 'the alt-right', or 'the libtards', or 'SJWs' or 'Neckbeards', or 'pro-unborn-baby-murderers' or 'womb dictators' and we select people with matching ideologies and they become in our mind no longer people, but instead a 'hated other' with little distinction between its members.
And since they are no longer human to us, we are free to heap our scorn and violence on them because 'they aren't actually really people'.
This is some of the oldest cultural programming in our monkey minds, before even words or song we banded together to kill the 'hated other' and take their territory and food.
Unless we can get beyond this animalistic tribal tendency, we will never have a world free of brutality committed on our fellow man in the name of a ephemeral ideology.
1 treeslooklikelamb 2018-02-22
No one can really argue against you there, it's what we all want.
What you're missing though is an examination into the cause of why things are the way they are. You seem to be focussed only on how people are reacting to the malaise of society, the end result, whilst not really giving much thought into the cause.
How are perspectives fabricated to achieve the end result that you're talking about? Can people tell what's an objective perspective anymore? It seems impossible now, but we do try here...
1 Pumpkin_Creepface 2018-02-22
Because people in power benefit when the populace is thrown into chaos. This is a truth older than castles.
Only in the non-critical.
Fuck if I know, if I did I'd be a world power right now.
Yes, through rigorous diligence, and the most brutal of rational examination. It is painful because this act strips of us our self-delusions.
Which is why so few do it.
Because we see ourselves for what we are, under all of our justifications, all of our excuses, and most people are afraid of what they'd see.
1 Americatheretard 2018-02-22
Oh...they’ve all been debunked...got it. Oh that’s right popular mechanics debunked 911 years ago...where have I been?
1 Pumpkin_Creepface 2018-02-22
Yes it did, and so have several other experts.
The thing is, there is a texture to actual conspiracies that everyone overlooks.
They usually aren't sensational.
Check the wikipedia article on confirmed conspiracies, and you will notice several features that 911, pizzagate, and buttery males seem to lack.
Namely ambiguity, diverse motives, and imperfect action engagement.
That's because human organizations are diverse things filled with people with different motives and prone to human failure.
The sensational conspiracy theories I mentioned above lack all of these things.
The way their proponents present them it's as if a single overarching consciousness with perfect awareness and perfect execution were controlling all aspects of the conspiracy.
And as long as more than 1 person is involved, this is basically an impossibility.
But it's one that tinfoil hatters like you keep insisting upon.
I have been deep in the conspiracy community since before the internet was even commercially available, and frankly people like you give us legit conspiracy researchers a very, very bad name.
1 Americatheretard 2018-02-22
Well according to your very profound and thought provoking reply, most if not all perceived "conspiracies" would be nearly impossible. Oh you were deep into conspiracies before internet was commercially available... So oh wise one, please enlighten me as to what are the true conspiracies that meet your strick criteria listed above? Oh, I can't wait to hear this.
1 Pumpkin_Creepface 2018-02-22
No, just most.
You don't really want to know, and even then what I would tell you would be meaningless to you.
Find them yourself, be critical, be thorough, and don't waste time on buttery male bullshit.
1 Americatheretard 2018-02-22
I just wanted your expert opinion on what the true conspiracies are...I mean those that don’t involve more than one person...you know because if it did involve more than one person it would be almost impossible to carry out because human organisms are diverse things filled with different motives and prone to human failure. So if you’re going to say tinfoil hatters like myself give conspiracy researchers like yourself s bad name...by all means shine your light down on us bottom feeders...if you’re not willing to share any examples of “real conspiracies” that fit your guidelines, keep your psychological interpretation/analysis BS and meaningless rhetoric to yourself and STFU! I mean why are you here then...so you can sit on your pedestal and talk down to those that aren’t at your perceived intellectual level?
1 Pumpkin_Creepface 2018-02-22
Okay I'm pretty sure you're just a shitty markov bot.
1 sackajahweeda 2018-02-22
Yes YT is a private company so they can post or not post whatever they want but on that same regulatory token why is it that I have read on Voat many times that people have seen CP on YT before?! WHY is that shit a ok but the truth is a taboo and a possible strike on your channel?
1 joyridingphan 2018-02-22
we all knew this was going to happen eventually
