Old World Order

Had an epiphany about this a few minutes ago, their is already a theory that Rome never actually fell and their ruling class remains the behind the scenes puppeteers of our world.
We are basically told their society the greatest in the world at the time simply fell apart due to immigration and in fighting in addition to barbarian hordes
Not a bad explanation.
Why is it that no civilization prior to us developed industrial technology? Electricity?
It is known that Egypt and Rome were working together during the reign of Emperor Marcus Aurelius,
Both these societies have an unexplainably high standard of architecture and an unimaginable level of detail in their statues maybe i am underestimating their artisans but is it not odd that both of the most successful ancient civilizations seem so much more advanced then we are taught they were, we are to believe they used chisels to make mathematically perfect statues.
What I am getting at is what if the Egyptian and Roman ruling class decided they wanted long term world domination? Not an unusal desire for narcissistic dictators.
They had the most advanced societies in the world at the time.
So my theory is they intentionally collapsed their own societies and made sure all of their most important innovations and knowledge and technologies and of course wealth were kept safe in areas only accessible to selected Elites,
This would plunge humanity as a species back decades maybe centuries technologically while the elites would stay at the level they were before the collapse of their societies,
This would ensure for the rest of human history the elites would have the wealth and knowledge and such a headstart on technology that they would be impossible to defeat financially, and militarily they would have a private force with weapons decades to centuries more advanced than anyone that might challenge them

Sounds like it may at least be in the right ball park. No idea whether you set any store by it, but the Bible says that the Rome world power remains in control until the end. Although it evolves into something quite different to what it started out as, it is still the same basic entity.

Im sure it has deep ties to the "Roman" Catholic Church.
The Vatican is a labyrinth of deception, a known haven of pedophiles (a Roman tradition, they were very hedonistic) with extreme influence both politically and on over a billion individuals,
Not to mention the Vatican is the organization which censored Galileos work for over a century and banned him from ever teaching or writing again. Intentionally holding back important knowledge from the world.
The Vatican is known to maintain a "Secret Archive" which contains 53 MILES of shelving worth of documents going back to the 1600s (and that's just when the archive was started so it likely contains documents much older than that)
And thats separate from the Vaticans limited access library of over 1.2 million books and documents.
Here is the Wikipedia description of "The Holy See" (All-Seeing Eye?)

I went to CUNY ( city uni of New York) , and had an art teacher who had a masters or PhD in Italian art. She claimed she had access to that archive , among many other things . I believe her.

Did you see the video from a couple of years back with a lawyer from the Holy See talking in a Detroit courtroom about the the economic failings of the state in regards to the people of Detroit? It was very bizarre...he said he was speaking on the behalf of the people of Detroit. If anyone can chime in with a link it'd be great, because that's gonna be tough to find.
I'm pretty sure he mentioned the idea that people have a corporate personhood under the state and an actual personhood.

Robert Marques (Vatican) speaks in Detroit Bankruptcy Court
I remember this...absolutely fascinating!

I don't know 'bout you, but I found that video pretty surreal...like fourth wall. Thanks for the link, and if you happen to know of any discussion or related videos, I wouldn't mind seeing them as well.

This is mind blowing, deserves its own post

Well, there's definitely those out there that believe basically we can renounce our legal fictions (UPPERCASE NAMES) and be recompensed for money stolen from us by "alien" fictional entities. There's a law from the late 1600's in the U.S. that deals with it, and some people claimed you could even set up a bank account with the Federal Reserve personally and withdraw money directly under your actual personhood, not legal fiction.
I don't know if you've read about the jubilee year, but times counting down for remuneration if that were indeed to happen. Or at the very least complete debt cancellation.

Can you give me details of where it says that?
1 cryptothrice 2018-03-16
I think this is true. Instead of risking somebody else destroying their empire they destroy themselves to ensure a controlled chaos. It would suggest a very very old and secret society controlling the human species.

yep.
Every good farmer knows you have to let fields lay fallow every so often. Otherwise, you will end up with a field that cant support growth.
1 lost_and_confound 2018-03-16
But are the farmers of men really men at all?
1 beware_the_spooks 2018-03-16
True. The foresight they must have had would have been immense. Take the pyramid at Giza alone, the initial idea men never saw the finished piece. Same here.

Only the Holy Roman Empire (do you mean ancient Rome or the Holy Roman Empire?) gave us genetics (Gregor Mendel), the scientific method, Galileo, Copernicus and a slew of other scientists, advancements, and inventions.

"Why is it that no civilization prior to us developed industrial technology? Electricity?"
quiet simply... oil. Western civilization found oil, and so the western world thrived... that's the biggest part of "why".
1 DancesWithPugs 2018-03-16
Oil for lamps? Or the internal combustion engine? History goes back a lot further than the latter.
1 dotlinefever3 2018-03-16
just in case you didnt know, the industrial age began before electricity was harnessed.
It was the advances in knowledge, coupled with better lines of communication, that led to a thrìving civilization.

Rome and historical Egypt were created and collapsed by an antediluvian secret society that created this false historical narrative, erasing themselves from the history books before our written history began.
1 pby1000 2018-03-16
Source?
1 VintageOG 2018-03-16
I was clearly just speculating, but if you look into any conspiracies involving the history of the anunnakians, what I said will seem highly possible and tame
1 dotlinefever3 2018-03-16
another clue can be found in the stone work.
You can see where the journeymen of stone works have journeyed around the world if you pay attention to the details.

Pretty strange that they took the time to describe these beings... And the images they used to represent them are much larger than the humans.
1 pby1000 2018-03-16
OK. I will look. I was hoping you have a source I am not aware of.
Have you listened to Gary Wayne?
1 DagothNereviar 2018-03-16
The first thing I'd do when trying to control the whole world would be to get rid of my entire, biggest at the time, empire. But then that's why I'm not ruling the world I guess
1 DancesWithPugs 2018-03-16
If you and your ruler buddies could stay in your castles, would you care what color the flag was or what face is on the currency? Please remember there are clever people and you may not always instantly and perfectly understand their movements.

"Why is it that no civilization prior to us developed industrial technology? Electricity?"
Come on, before making a non-sense theory, read some history articles.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_science
Boltzmann did hang himself while being depressed, because other physicists and philosphers were making fun out of his atoms+molecules theory. This was proven to be a real scientific fact just 3 years later in 1909.
OP, I hope you understand that people in the past were probably even more ignorant and stupid. And how much of the science is new. Of course, most of it was created in countries with the right conditions. You can't create science in a dogmatic, fanatical environment.
Many of the great physicists and mathematicians actually wrote some of their most important articles while being in jail...

Yeah, what were the literacy rates in these times? While passing by knowledge through word of mouth is good for some things, it's not good for more complicated things. If only 5% of a people can read/write their own language what are the chances that complex things like architecture and arithmetic are passed through word of mouth for hundreds of years? Those rival nations/mongols that just invaded and slaughtered an entire town? Well maybe they just killed the only person in the empire that knew how to do some shit, and they never wrote it down or the library was burned with the only copy of the book.

I believe that human civilization has occurred again and again, with natural disasters being the greatest determining factor as the “reset” button.
For example, if our civilization were to suddenly collapse — there wouldn’t be much archeological evidence to figure out why, as all our data is now stored on computers, discs, and in the internet. It would seem as if it “vanished suddenly”. Do you think a human thousands of years in the future, presumably in a future civilization (not necessarily more advanced) would know what an iPad was if they dug one up? How would they explain the similarities to all the excavated McDonald’s across the world?
So if prior civilizations were extremely advanced such as ours, it will always seem puzzling to the archeologists of the future. It’s hard to determine something outside of your understanding of society/civilization. Imagine explaining a CD to someone from the Middle Ages. It would require ridiculous amounts of background context to even begin to explain.
I don’t believe that Rome collapsed on purpose, but I do believe there were some people that definitely benefited from its collapse (in a regionalist direct power sense)— as there will be with the inevitable collapse of the West.
Imagine human civilization is like the movie “mother!”
1 bubbajojebjo 2018-03-16
Off topic(ish) but mother! was so good. So many of these little occult things hidden (and not so hidden). So happy to see someone else mention it.
1 DancesWithPugs 2018-03-16
You're on the right track. There's partial continuity with empire. Much of history is a lie. This goes back to ancient Mesopotamia I think.
I think the surviving empire destroyed their rival empire Tartary with plague and treachery. Still learning.
1 cheechow 2018-03-16
bingo.
It goes back to Babylonia
1 DancesWithPugs 2018-03-16
No it wasn't clear you were speculating, it sounds like an assertion of fact.
1 Tunderbar1 2018-03-16
I don't think it is unreasonable for people in positions of wealth and power to maintain that wealth and power when all else around them falls apart. Just take their wealth and go underground or go elsewhere.
Countries or empires rise and fall but the wealthy and powerful keep on plugging along.
1 WestCoastHippy 2018-03-16
The Black Nobility is the name given to Italian nobility who went underground/behind the scenes after Rome "fell" and remain in power to this day.
1 reddog323 2018-03-16
Interesting spin. If true, it seems that the elites are planning a collapse again. Maybe the masses will hold onto a higher level of tech this time.

Roman Catholic Empire, they knew the only thing that ever lasts is religion so they used it to their advantage
1 Upupabove 2018-03-16
Rome didn't fall, it became the Catholic Church.
That's what's described in nebecanezzers dream as the feet (iron and clay) and the last Babylonian empire.
