"The Walk Out"
22 2018-03-16 by jackthebutholeripper
Student 1: Oh man, did you hear about the walkout? Are you walking out today?
Student 2: Yeah! I read Principal Kempler's tweet about it last night! He said we're allowed to walk at 2 right?
Student 1: Yup. Thats what he said, I'm so stoked to dissent today.
Teacher: Ok kids! Don't forget our school sanctioned political walk-out starts at 2:00 PM and ends at exactly 2:17 PM! please feel free to walk out and exhibit your State sponsored dissidence at 2:00! All dissidence must cease by the time you return to your seats at 2:17.

Pretty sure it's less about sending a message and more about just getting to skip class...

I'd not show up all day except at 2:01 PM and leave at 2:16PM

Cool, we get it. You don't like gun control and you think it's lame that kids were protesting about it.
1 jackthebutholeripper 2018-03-16

1 RedditHelpsEnslaveUs 2018-03-16
and you think it's lame that kids were
protesting about itcompletely ignorant about most of the issues but were still used as pawns in a disgusting display of pro-oppression propaganda.FTFY
1 SJWPussyLibtard 2018-03-16
This might blow your mind, but some people actually do care when a bunch of kids get murdered and think we should do something about it.

strawman

He's a scarecrow actually. That's his name.

1 SJWPussyLibtard 2018-03-16
No you're thinking of the tin man. He was made out of tin.
1 jackthebutholeripper 2018-03-16

By the end, courage.

You are correct about that. Lets start by disbanding the shadow factions in our intelligence communities responsible for perpetrating these false flag attacks in order to change policy.
I think that would be a far better solution than acting like a puppet on a string and doing what they want us to do, which is voluntarily disarm ourselves.
You're actively advocating for the "team" of future oppression and tyranny. I suggest you reevaluate your position.
1 SJWPussyLibtard 2018-03-16
Right. Because it's certainly not possible in a nation with hundreds of millions of guns, that a crazy guy would ever use one of them to kill a bunch of people. Certainly every time this happens every couple months, it's the government doing it for no reason. Because apparently the American public doesn't give a fuck when it happens and our laws never change.
1 RedditHelpsEnslaveUs 2018-03-16
Sure, its possible, and it does happen.
I can acknowledge that. The funny thing is thst you refuse to acknowledge that shadow factions of our government have and still do commit false flags.... including school shootings.
Im saying its a combination of crazy fucks AND government ops causing these problems.
You're insistent that "crazy people" are the ONLY possibility.
Lets be honest here, Your viewpoint is actually far less probable.
1 SJWPussyLibtard 2018-03-16
Alright word I guess we'll change the topic. Have there been false flags in the past? Sure. I'm sure governments all over the world have done them over the years. But every single fuckin time somebody shoots a bunch of people in America, people assume it's some shit orchestrated by the government. Every single time? That's absurd to me. Especially because our laws never change. Our Congress is Republican right now and all of them are owned by the NRA. They aren't going to pass meaningful gun control right now anyway. Even when kids die. So no I don't believe all of these mass shootings are some false flag. I think there are a lot of crazy people in this country and sometimes they snap.
1 RedditHelpsEnslaveUs 2018-03-16
Doubling down on the strawman eh? I already made it clear that I believe this is a combination of factors.
1 SJWPussyLibtard 2018-03-16
I've seen theories every single time it happens. I'm not even talking about you.
1 Zap_Powerz 2018-03-16
i dont. too many kids anyway
1 Burra-Hobbit 2018-03-16
Like a gun ban? Username checks out.
1 SJWPussyLibtard 2018-03-16
No, like stricter rules. In order to drive a car, we need to take classes and get a learners permit before we are allowed to drive on our own. Because driving a car is dangerous. It's absurd that all you need to buy a gun is an ID and proof you're not a criminal.
1 BusterBunny420 2018-03-16
In case you’re not aware, the alleged Parkland shooter was known by law enforcement and had a criminal record.
1 SJWPussyLibtard 2018-03-16
Criminal record for what?
1 Potbrowniebender 2018-03-16
Helen Lovejoy?
1 Chriah 2018-03-16
The term walkout suggests that it is done unsanctioned and against the rules. Something that might bring negative consequences because you are breaking the law. Or perhaps OP was observing how it was organized by the schools to put there own political agenda forward. Young minds are sponges. I’m sure you can draw on your own personal experiences but teachers/school administrators have such an important influential role in children’s minds the opinions they voice are not differentiated from the facts that they teacher. Even if they never give opinions like a good teacher should, sometimes they elude or draw students to think particular things on purpose or accident. A teacher or professors narrative whether intentional or unintentional go really far.
1 FlyThai 2018-03-16
I'm sure OP would be just as cynical if the students was walking out and protesting in favor of something he agreed with. I'm sure
1 jackthebutholeripper 2018-03-16
excluding legal prostitution
1 Swan_in_a_Cage 2018-03-16
That wouldn't happen. The government isn't woke.
1 Fhungi 2018-03-16
It's the cool thing to do, man. Get with the times, geez!
1 Shepard7137 2018-03-16
Kids aren’t sending anyone a message. Especially, gun owners!!! 😉
1 sandvich 2018-03-16
yeah that they are stupid as shit.
1 missylizzy 2018-03-16
I am proud of you.
1 claw00 2018-03-16
As someone who is in high school: Many people I know are fucking upset. Many people I know are doing multiple things to get the attention of lawmakers, etc.
Rules are put in place during these walkouts to ensure safety, because everyone is on fucking edge. That means administration watching, meeting points, etc. 17 mins= 1 min for every life lost in the Florida shooting.
Yeah, some kids are walking out to skip class for 17 mins (ohhh big fucking whoop), but most are doing it because they see the need to.
This isn't really directed at OP, more at the shit storm of the comment section.
Its really fucking gross to see "adults" theorizing about school shootings, and shit like this. Some people need to get their head screwed on a bit tighter.
1 BusterBunny420 2018-03-16
You’ll realize how stupid it is when you’re older, kid.
1 claw00 2018-03-16
Just because I'm younger doesn't mean I can't fucking process things, or looking with my fucking eyes and think for myself.
What's stupid is the fact people automatically write off young people for being young.
Yeah I agree, walking out doesn't change anything, but it does bring the topic to attention to our classmates and towns.
1 BusterBunny420 2018-03-16
Almost everyone is aware of what’s currently going on. Some have opposing opinions. Some agree, but don’t care to participate. Some don’t care at all.
It’s honorable to stand up for what you believe in, but people write off young people because they understand what it’s like to be young, impressionable, and to think you know what your opinions are before fully comprehending them.
1 BusterBunny420 2018-03-16
Lmao “I’m so stoked to dissent today”
