No, that's stupid. Shills use all kinds of tactics, not just these ones. Sometimes the best tactic for them to use is to just present a coherent, logical argument that the other person isn't prepared to refute.

No they don't, sometimes they use "good" tactics, that is to say, logically sound arguments based on facts. That can be all you need if your opponent is less well-versed. Sometimes they just spam stories along a single narrative (like you do every few weeks with pornography). Sometimes they pull people aside and connect with them emotionally to build a personal bond (white nationalists do this a lot to get recruits).
