The real flat earth conspiracy

The real conspiracy with flat earth is that the people that make YouTube videos about flat earth make a lot of money, and are probably laughing at the people who click on them.

NASA makes $50 million per day.
1 rorocolcol 2018-03-25
What does that have to do with anything?
1 KingKoCFC 2018-03-25
Their videos and pictures are all complete bullshit CGI.
1 rorocolcol 2018-03-25
That's not true
1 EnoughNoLibsSpam 2018-03-25
yes it is. NASA admits it, but has some lame ass excuse for why
1 rorocolcol 2018-03-25
NASA uses low earth orbit satellites to generate high resolution composite images. If you want to see a lower resolution, full frame photo of the earth here's a link to the website of a Japanese satellite that takes a full frame photo every 10 minutes

obviously manipulated. you can see the outlines of the continents, and the long-lat lines
are you going to split hairs over "how much" they are manipulated?

Instead of wasting a post that doesn’t add anything to the discussion why wouldn’t you elaborate further?
1 EnoughNoLibsSpam 2018-03-25
if NASA lied about men walking on the moon, what else have they lied about?
i say we get rid of NASA, waste of taxpayers dollars
1 Crows_and_Beef 2018-03-25
They didn't lie about men walking on the moon.
1 EnoughNoLibsSpam 2018-03-25
if NASA told you that men have walked on the moon, but no men have walked on the moon, thats called lying.
don't be that guy who can't accept the fact that he's been fooled.

Russia also beat us to space brother. They saw the Earth from space first. Why do you people never mention that? Hmmm i wonder...
1 EnoughNoLibsSpam 2018-03-25
you mean, why don't we mention the fact that its implausible that Russia would abandon their space program over sour grapes simply because the USA allegedly put men on the moon?
yeah we could mention that, and it would make the lunar landings even more suspicious
science that can't be replicated, is not science

Humans have been to the moon though...

there was no need for a retroreflector, because lasers don't need a retroreflector to work
furthermore, since no man has ever walked on the moon, it follow that no man has ever set a retroreflector on the moon
there is no plausible explanation for why the US taxpayers put measuring the distance to the moon, as a top priority at the exact same time as they are losing a war in Viet Nam
do you even physics?

1 justinxduff 2018-03-25
Then how did the mirrors get up there?
1 EnoughNoLibsSpam 2018-03-25
there is no credible evidence that mirrors or reflectors are up there.
there is no way that anyone using a laser to measure the distance to the moon can distinguish a photon that was reflected off the surface of the moon (so shiny, it lights up Earth at night) and one that is reflected off of a mirror or reflector
furthermore, it would be impossible for anyone to hit such a small target with a laser at 200,000 miles away
furthermore, the target is so far away that you can't even see it with a telescope (which gathers light) so how would you expect to hit it with a laser point?
i know its hard to accept that you have been fooled, and that the people you love and care about would fool you, but it is what it is. the sooner you grow up and accept reality the better. the reality is that no man has ever walked on the moon, and no man ever will. its simply technologically impossible in 2018, and even more so in 1969
they say we can't go back to the moon because nobody knows how to use a slide-rule anymore. if that was true, don't you think they would mandate slide rule education? after all going to the moon was a matter of urgent national security in 1969, so it must also be in 2019
1 justinxduff 2018-03-25
lol
1 EnoughNoLibsSpam 2018-03-25
how many Russians have walked on the moon?
1 shmusko01 2018-03-25
Their moon program was a failure
1 shmusko01 2018-03-25
Who says this?
1 rorocolcol 2018-03-25
CGI stands for computer generated image... NASA uses composite photography to generate high resolution images. By the same logic I could say a panoramic photo you took on your phone is CGI. But that doesn't mean the thing you took a photo of is flat... does it??

Where do you think the hidden money is?
1 narazz 2018-03-25
it seems far fetched at 1st. i actually like idea of space. but i see how the idea of space can be weaponized. A big issue i see from it is the higher up elites could use outer space to make people feel like their are not important on earth. this as a result reduces the lower class from seeking religion as the elite don't want any competition for ascending spirituality.
1 nightmareVilliage 2018-03-25
It's the "This can't be real, I need to see this" clickbait.
1 dammitjenkins20cars 2018-03-25
It's called flatarded for a reason.
1 toomuchpork 2018-03-25
The whole FE thing is not new. In the 80's the Flat Earth Society was going strong.
It is a joke. Arguing a losing point for fun and deflecting the lower IQers into a goofy belief.
Thing is there are bucket loads of people buying into it now.
1 seeking101 2018-03-25
there's more flat earthers who are trolls than who actually believe it
1 rorocolcol 2018-03-25
Lol exactly, there's plenty of interesting and or messed up stuff going on in the world that people could focus on. Instead they choose to focus on this dumb stuff.
1 toomuchpork 2018-03-25
Learning the math and discovering the history of surveying would be more interesting. Then they could "see" the shape of the world for themselves.
Nope. Rather watch a moronic video on YouTube.
1 rorocolcol 2018-03-25
Lol...yeah the funny thing is anybody can prove the earth is round with simple experiments..you don't even have to be a scientist or "one of the elites"
1 MosestheCanadian 2018-03-25
The reason the flat earth conspiracy is so prevelant is because the governent/powers that be want it to be.
1 rorocolcol 2018-03-25
Yeah, I can see how governments don't mind people believing this stuff because it distracts them from real issues
1 EnoughNoLibsSpam 2018-03-25
