Go on..

Life

Star

That's no moon

That's a space station.

Never tell me the odds

Impressive. Most impressive.

This was no boating accident...

No time for the old in and out, love. I've just come to read the meter.

It goes to eleven.

I'm lost! I thought we were doing Star Wars, now we are on a boat and had an accident??? /u/russianbot01 u/russianbot01

No...we were attacked by a shark. We should have jumped the shark. Like the media are doing right now.

Oh, okay! If that is the case, then we are going to need a bigger boat.

Now you're cooking with gas.

Somebody's gotta go back and get a shitload of dimes.

Change

Empty

Perception only

What about it? Your post is gonna end up being removed because it's just one word.

But, I'll play along. Death is a part of life. The natural result of entropy. The real question is how we choose to deal with it- do you confront it, accept it, and get on with your life? Or do you live in constant fear of it? That question goes a long way towards determining who you are as an individual.

I will leave you with a quote from Horace: "carpe diem quam minimum credula postero" "Seize the day, and trust as little as possible in tomorrow".

That’s exactly what I’m looking for

And it may be one word, but it’s a powerful word

It's not a proper Submission Statement.

You said "death" as if it's some deep notion?

Latin...again bradok? I'm guessing credula means trust? I'm guessing incredulous comes from credula?

in·cred·u·lous

inˈkrejələs/

adjective

(of a person or their manner) unwilling or unable to believe something.

"an incredulous gasp"

synonyms: disbelieving, skeptical, unbelieving, distrustful, mistrustful, suspicious, doubtful, dubious, unconvinced;

cynical

"we were incredulous when the congressman was not more forthcoming in his first broadcast interview about the case"

Latin...again bradok?

I'm sorry, I spend a lot of time reading the stuff D:

You are correct in your assumption of the connection between credula and incredulous, tho! Plus, Horace is just a BAMF. The guy didn't give a shit and realized the fragility and impermanence of life, and tried to tell everyone about this Reality through his poetry.

I'm going to get a proper education if I keep hanging around you.

lmao

where the hell did you learn latin?

Some people get business degrees, others follow their passion.

commendable. to say the least.

hey, dont forget about his/her comment above earlier about trusting tomorrow!

Can I chine in and mention that lame ass quote by Socrates about the sign of a good scholar is entertaining the notion of an idea, not necessarily accepting it.

Death.

Can't we do both??? :L

I just kicked ass last night in CS and felt good about entropy.

It's getting easier and easier to make contact.

It's a trip :)

Cause, like...whats a trip to an aye-melien? Hah.

Seriously, we are them and they are us. I am in agreeance with your sentiments /u/bradok.

It's taking me awhile, but it's cool I guess.

You can definitely do both! Sadly most people I know who chose the one path however did it not because they enjoyed it but because they thought it would make them more money, and that then somehow they would find enjoyment in life.

...is birth, and birth is death. What do I win?

Nirvana I'd guess

Flick a switch and open your third eye, you'd see that
We should never be afraid to die (So come on)

Low effort shit post

Death sucks.

...does not exist, is an illusion, and is only a particular perspective The All bestows upon its manifestations for the purpose of continuing to create.

You can't have without life
