Barbara Bush died today.

Let's not forget about the war crimes her husband and son committed. Let's remember the hundreds of thousands of innocent people that died because of their family.

Yeah exactly, I'm not sympathetic for horrible people like her.. Glad she's gone!

Lol, anyone remember when HRC said BB helped the fight against AIDS in the 80's, when she actually helped ignore it? Lel.

To be fair, hill-dog was probably just trying to swing moderate Republicans.
1 bradok 2018-04-18
HRC is a moderate centrist- so that was always gonna be her plan.

This election was super shady. Let it all come out before you make conclusions.
1 bradok 2018-04-18
Conclusions? Like what? That HRC destroyed down-ballot chances by funneling money from State Parties into the HVF? That she cheated Bernie completely out of the Primaries by having complete control of the DNC bureaucracy and its finances? That she was a goddamn Neoliberal "traignulating" "third way" Centrist, just like Bill, who abandoned her own base in exchange for elusive "moderate Republicans" who never voted for her anyways? That she failed to campaign in Wisconsin or Michigan more than 4 times after the Convention, in her own stupid hubris, again abandoning key Dem constituencies that voted Blue for 30 goddamn years?

The DNC is a private institution and I get you are anti Hillary but the Trump side has a lot of splaining to do. No political candidate should be meeting with an enemy of the State to disrupt the election. If anything, they should both be in jail.
1 bradok 2018-04-18
Same old bullshit. A private institution that has a key role in determining the goddamn president, and who admitted to having tipped the scales and reserving the right to pick candidate in a smoke filled room, in court, nonetheless.
Damn right I am. I was with Bernie from the very beginning, and still am. HRC let Trump win via her own hubris and by cheating a genuine man of the People out of the Primary. I will never forgive her for that, and I will always seek reform of the DNC until it is a body of the People, and the Party is restored to its New Deal roots. Bobby Kennedy would be ashamed at seeing what his Party has become. A centrist pig pen.
Russian collusion is a BS excuse to ignore the Progressive base of the Party and its demands for change, to smear Stein and Bernie, and to allow a Centrist fool like Kamala Harris, Deval Patrick, Corey Booker, or Joe Kennedy III to gain power in 2020. I won't fall for it. Bernie or Tulsi 2020 is what this fucking country needs.
No. More. Corporatists.

Get rid of Citizens United and you may have your wish.
1 bradok 2018-04-18
That's only the first step. We need to purge the Party from the ground up. This is accomplished via grassroots actisism. How, you might ask? I'll explain.
The smallest organizational unit of the Dem Party is the Precinct. Any registered Dem can show up to their local meeting and vote for the Precinct Chairs. Precinct Chairs vote for Country Chairs, who vote for State Chairs, who vote for National Chairs. This is how we strip the Party from the cold dead hands of the Corporatists. This is how we force change to trickle up. Citizens United isn't enough- we must wage a war against the malignancy of Corporatists within the Party itself.

This. So much. Very well stated.

The Clintons used a triangulation strategy, positioning themselves between the Left and the Right. The problem was that they led the left, and the Right always moved more right. Nixon was a bigger liberal than Hillary. The Democrats policy was that they didn't want or need the left.
1 bradok 2018-04-18
Exactly. HRC and Bill have been nothing short of disastrous for the True Left of this country.
1 detcadder 2018-04-18
There isn't a left wing, only a few loose feathers.
1 bradok 2018-04-18
I have to respectfully disagree. Bernie's campaign woke up many on the True Left. Look up Our Revolution, DSA, and Working Families Party. The Left does exist in this country, and we're fighting tooth and nail against the Corporatists in the Dem Party.
1 SHIT_SNIFF_DIE 2018-04-18
Thank you. The true left is so big that Trump got elected. The Clintons offended their sensibilities to the point that they couldn't bring themselves to vote for her, no matter what huffpo's Twitter or whatever wants people to believe, tons of people just didn't vote because they didn't want to support a wildly corrupt candidate.
1 StopHAARPingOnMe 2018-04-18
Yeah ive said it a few times. What people call tge left in america would be tge right in most countries in Europe and in canada.
Yes shes pro women rights but that's not really enough to call yourself a leftist. Your econonic ideas are what should be focused on and hers were not left. She parroted so much of bernies platform but most of us knew she was just trying to grab those on the fence.
I'm glad she lost. I had hoped it would bring slme much needed change and swing tge party left. It did. For like a week. Then they were up to their same tricks again

Too much inertia to change course, have to wait for us to hit something.
1 CUNT_PUNCHER_ 2018-04-18
No, I don't remember that, because she said that about Nancy Reagan. What do you expect the wife of the vice president to do anyways?
1 dingdangow 2018-04-18
Maybe Ellen can interview her now.
1 samout 2018-04-18
She's only able to interview drugged and psychologically traumatized lesser celebrities as a test and humiliation to see if they play ball after re-programming. Babs is too big to ever have been her guest and didn't need a test run of that kind.

Remember when the Katrina refugees were stuck in a stadium and she said, "I think this is working out quite well for them".
The other one I remember was I think when they asked her about Iraq war 2 during GWB. She said "why should I worry my beautiful mind with that?"

A dead parasite. Isn't she related to Crowley?
1 logicblocks 2018-04-18
There were some articles about how she could have been his daughter.
1 Joe_Sapien 2018-04-18
Noy that far fetched imo.

I don't like the Bush family, but she wasn't a politician. She's entitled to her peace.
1 Stantoninus 2018-04-18
May her rotting corpse forever feel the pain of all her victims
1 Changinggirl 2018-04-18
Alister Crowley's daughter finally bit the dust huh. Can't say I am sad, these crooked people seem to live on for ages. I bet McCain with his cancer will live to be 95 or something. They just don't die.
1 chumbalong 2018-04-18
where's the party?
1 ragegenx 2018-04-18
I am worrying.my beautiful mind about that Bush
