Be suspicious of yanny...
1 2018-05-19 by excelloman
I posted yesterday from a different account, but I said this yanny shit was related to mandella (as in a psy op).
Look at rpics, mainstream mandella post.
Now look at rmandelaeffect... Even they are taken aback by how pics got that shit first and not them.
Look at yt trending, 10 yanny vida, just like 6mo ago when it was floodes with mandella vids.
This shit is not organic.

Its weird how YT showcases vids with users who have the most 'shocked' look in the still/thumbs, just like with ME vids.

There are 2 proofs in the pics thread that NEVEr appeared in the official sub..

It's just an audio illusion...
1 Squirrelboy85 2018-05-19
That's what I keep saying. I can hear both names if I focus.
1 mastigia 2018-05-19
All I heard was laurel. Then one time all I heard was yanni. Wtf? Anyone done any waveform analysis on this yet?
1 MisterCreepz 2018-05-19
It's a recording of both words being played, various factors decide which one is heard.

That reminds me of the spinning dancer test. When that became a thing, I read an article with the image at the top. She was spinning right when I landed on the page. I read the article & scroll up: she's spinning left. At the time, I'd just taken a left/right brain test and scored 50-50, so it was a little interesting to chick the dancing chick out.
I wasn't really interested in this beyond a cursory listen, but all I heard was 'laurel'. Maybe it's a left/right brain thing? ...even though now they say left-right brain 'orientation' isn't really a thing.
1 effefoxboy 2018-05-19
You can make the dancer go both ways. Same with the face mask illusion.
1 mastigia 2018-05-19
I'm puzzled by it. Why do I always hear laurel...but that one time I heard yanni clear as all get out. I won't pretend like my brain is an organized place, I did a great deal of drugs when I was younger and it did some damage. Weird ass shit though.
1 Bruce_de_Balzac 2018-05-19
I dunno, man. I think it may be where the brain starts/picks up the loop/waveform. Are you sure you're making the right face? :)
1 mastigia 2018-05-19
Oh i'm all for drug exploration. But I mixed alcohol and various hard drugs for the better part of 2 decades. They just make me psychotic now, literally causes psychosis. I'm fine when i'm sober, but I used all the dope I can use, and my memory is like an etch a sketch now. I have near perfect recall of everything prior to 2008, after that i'm lucky if I remember where I put my car keys haha.
1 Bruce_de_Balzac 2018-05-19
Ja, good, you got what I meant. I have a couple, three blank patches of several years each. Did you know a really large, fresh, wet cubensis is waaaay too much for one person?
Alcohol was always the main bad guy for me. Just non-addictive naturals for me now, but I could currently pass any & all tests <- not intentional, just the way it is :( I should rly look into selling my urine.
1 mastigia 2018-05-19
Alcohol is the worst.

none of it is real..
1 1-800-GOFUCKYOURSELF 2018-05-19
Can someone explain this laurel yanni shit like I I have a life and wasn't ion the internet in the last 24?
1 Stellaaahhhh 2018-05-19
Because of the high/low frequency in the recording of the word 'Laurel' on a vocabulary site, it sounds like 'Yanny' to about half the people who hear it. I hear 'Yelly' myself, and I have no idea why everyone is so fascinated with it.
1 1-800-GOFUCKYOURSELF 2018-05-19
How fucking retarded have we become? Jesus fucking christ.
1 gt- 2018-05-19
It's just an internet trend that easy to participate in, it doesn't mean society is retarded. Not every waking moment needs to be spent learning, internet can be fun and silly sometimes
1 1-800-GOFUCKYOURSELF 2018-05-19
Nah, it's fucking retarded.
1 ApocalypseFatigue 2018-05-19
It's hilarious to read 9 page screeds on mind control when all it takes is "hey what color is that dress guys"
1 DawnPendraig 2018-05-19
Its actually a great way to show people who perception can influence people and truth can be different to different people.
I could only hear Yanny at first but with focus I found Laurel and now I cannot find Yanny again despite multiple attempts.
I hear all but rhe highest frequency mosquito sounds so I think my perception of the distortion being higher made me hear Yanny at first until my brain could sort through.
I read Yanny is just distortion and the real word is Laurel. So I also see this as an example how our senses and perceptions can lie to us and it takes concentration to see truth through the noise.
1 Stellaaahhhh 2018-05-19
Like the optical illusion with the circles and squares. Good point. I get that there can be value in it.
1 charbo187 2018-05-19
can it be silly and nonsexual?

Excellent calm reply! /u/1-800-GOFUCKYOURSELF is clearly too intelligent and clear minded for us
1 ApocalypseFatigue 2018-05-19
There's no apparent ceiling or bottom on this.
1 valgoosta 2018-05-19
I know maybe it has nothing to do with What you hear but weather or not people do or don’t participate in the ridiculousness!
1 Putin_loves_cats 2018-05-19
Mandela Effect is real, imo. This laurel/yanni shit is just an auditory trick. My pet theory, is they (social engineers) are trying to see who has been programmed by mainstream music, and who hasn't been or something.
1 Rockran 2018-05-19
What do you hear?
1 thegrahamcracker 2018-05-19
Now im afraid to answer! Lmao
1 Weareone2 2018-05-19
Yes. This. I thought it has to do how you interpret your reality. They're trying to find who is out of sync.
The reality is our controllers are beyond anything we can conceive, currently. But that is fading fast and I think they know that.
1 Paprika_Nuts 2018-05-19
Link the posts you are talking about, pics is a busy place and the post you talk about might be difficult to find after some time, making this thread useless to people later.
1 Jolcski 2018-05-19
Links to wtf you're talking about? I don't see anything related to yanny on either sub
1 Bruce_de_Balzac 2018-05-19
I was suspicious of Yanni the first time around.
1 RedTap3 2018-05-19
You were into Yanni way before they blew up and went mainstream.
1 Bruce_de_Balzac 2018-05-19
His moshpit was always killer.
1 Jaydrizzle 2018-05-19
The lack of grammar in this thread leads me to believe that you're all Russian trolls
1 bashar_speaks 2018-05-19
Why not both?
1 effefoxboy 2018-05-19
It feels like living in American culture has become this cheap merrygoround ride in a travelling fair that should probably not be passing safety inspections anymore but nonetheless, it's HERE and so we're all trying to pretend it's both safe and fun. The ride is old, with dry rotting horses and flaking paint, but the lights are bright and the music is loud and it keeps on chugging, round and round. I know I can step off, but I also know I can't be outside looking in at this decaying shitshow too long, or they won't let me back on the only ride in town. It doesn't really matter. It's fake, pointless, unsatisfying. It's all we have.
1 charbo187 2018-05-19
damn..
1 effefoxboy 2018-05-19
I can't tell what you're writing. There's to much jargon. What's going on?
I do think there's something strange about this stupid meme and the dress meme becoming so damn popular. What does this mean about where we are psychologically? Why are we so easily distracted by stinky l simple, quirky illusions?
For fucks fake, I saw a story titled "does Trump hear yanny or laurel?" As if it even matters. That was on the NEWS. What a joke.
1 Something2BelieveEn 2018-05-19
Slow or speed up the word Laurel and eventually you here fucking Yanny. Nothing special about this and im sure there are many other words that can be morphed when you mess with the speed.
Possibly to sow confusion, some youtube videos are playing a Yanny version some the Laurel version and some both. Most trending videos only play the audio for you once quickly.
The trending youtube videos are suggesting that the Laural peoples hearing is flawed. That is bullshit my hearing is fine. When someone says Yanni I hear Yanni, when someone says laural I hear laural. When someone fucks with the speed I can hear both.
Gaslighting by sophisticated youtube campaign with prominent youtubers playing along?
1 DougieJones84 2018-05-19
Yeah, I hear "Laurel" and nothing's wrong with my hearing either. At the risk of this sounding strange, I can hear cockroaches because they're very loud to me on certain surfaces. I don't know how common that is, I was actually just chatting with somebody on another thread that hears them. That was a relief that somebody knew what I was talking about instead of think I was full of it.
To anybody that's listened to this clip, did you have any strange dreams when you went to sleep? Just wondering.
1 spectralshawn 2018-05-19
i didnt have a strang dream but i experienced sleep paralysis after watching it, i do however experience that at least once every 4 months tho
1 BSTUNO 2018-05-19
I hear both and they switch by themselves playing back the same audio. I can't control which one I hear but it's clear as day.
1 charbo187 2018-05-19
it comes from a vocabulary.com audio of "laurel"
so it definitely IS laurel.
1 conspiracy4444 2018-05-19
Now look at this Apple.
Look at this pear
Look at giraffes, the first iPhone, a Les Paul guitar...
Now look in the mirror
1 Smiley_Iris 2018-05-19
People still hear Yanni? Damn Greeks!
1 1-800-GOFUCKYOURSELF 2018-05-19
