Im new to Reddit.

When it comes to subs are they bought or spontaneous? Obviously every sub isnt spontaneous. Some are sorta copycats, BeAmazed and TIL show pretty much the same stuff. My question has more to do with products that have a sub. Like a video game sub. Do the game developers just buy one out right or is there a process to getting a sub? Ive been noticing certain things get downvoted regardless of how truthful the comment seems in relation to the product. No matter how its brought up in conversation. Hack or glitch seem to be key words to a 0 point comment with little to no conversation. Im not trying to start problems, more or less just looking for an explanation.

Simply subscribe to the_donald and you will be happy and the most informed

I read anyone with a month and enough karma (amount unknown) can get one. Whats to stop a developer from making it part of a promotion budget and controlling the message through their employee's/mods?

For a newb, you are oddly specific, and correct. You read like a rhetorical question asking lurker. This host sub has been posting and discussing your suggestions for years.

Its probably my time on imgur, and I like conspiracies. I look at a lot of things a bit differently then others. Didnt mean to come across as a shit post. Just looking to see how wrong or right I was in my line of thinking.

I think you and u/NutritionResearch would get along. He moderates r/shills

It's a free-for-all for our minds (and $$$), and we're literally being programmed.

Ill give it a look

we all float here. you'll float too

Im here for discussion but it looks like lurking is the way to go. I just figured it was better then Imgur in that way.

Yes, I would say reddit is better for discussion than Imgur, but you'll notice certain topics and viewpoints are pushed pretty heavily. I would advise to try browsing by new for a time and see if that helps, or even making a self post like you did here.

Yeah

We don't know.

Most everything here is bought and paid for anytime you see any specific products named in a positive light.

Some small subs are free of it.

But all the large front page stuff is all run and controled by a single circle of moderators. with some overlap with actual reddit admins.

Bots are common too.
You can however install res.
reddit enhancement suite and start adding your own set tags to keep track of them.

But talking about it and pointing out bots or things will get you banned for 'doxxing'. lol

Ive Been banned from r/pics, because of a joke that bombed. Accused of trolling was the reason. I think thats hilarious for the simple reason that there is Imgur. So im aware of the power of a butt hurt mod. Its also made me realize people dont appreciate jokes about Africa and AIDS, my bad. Its a little diffrent when the sub is also a product for sale. Just didnt know it was quite like this. I heard better things about Reddit then what personal experience has shown me. I dont place conversation over Karma.

Yep. That's just the way it is. They are right and you are wrong.
Deleted. shadow banned. banned.

I got banned from news for telling people in another sub that news will ban people for no reason.

So. yeah. lol

This Coca-Cola Cherry I’m drinking tastes excellent.

Finally, an intelligent comment.

Is this a conspiracy?

The idea of something being spontaneous when its really marketing?

Reddit is one of the largest sites on the Internet,

there is zero chance it is paid and bought for.

Thats what i figured, just wanted. Some bias confirmation.

That's what i figured, just wanted. Some bias confirmation.

Bias confirmation is what Reddit is all about. Confirm someone's bias and get up voted. Tell the truth and get down voted. Tell the truth too mach and bet banned. Learn this and you will do well here.

Welcome to the thought police forum!

Lol

Take the blue pill...there’s no light at the end of the red pill tunnel.

Not going to lie, I like the red pill. I cant listen to a news report and not have more questions then before it.
