The real gun conspiracy.

Does anybody else find it strange that we accuse the MIC of arming rebels in order to overthrow 'democracy' by sending them some 'freedom fighters', while at the same time there are many many threads in regards to arming the population of other (mainly western) countries?
In one thread you have "MIC is killing people, arming ISIS and needs to be stopped!"
Then the next thread is "Look at what happens to civilians who aren't armed! London is a warzone! they need guns to fight people with guns!"
This feels very artificial to me. Surely, the last thing we want is more countries with civilians armed to the teeth? The money would go straight to the MIC, who could then start wars at any time, in any country, simply by trying to remove guns.
America is the exception to the rule when it comes to gun ownership, in every other country it is unnecessary for the civilian population to be armed.

Ya why are democrat politicians arming terrorists in Syria while at the same time trying to disarm their own country?

You know you're a slave when you can be thrown in a cage just for merely posessing a self defense tool.
1 marywasalizard 2018-06-07
I'm not in a cage. I own knives, bats, crossbows, slingshots, bow and arrows, axes, hammers...
what more self defense do you need?
Or do you mean, self offensive weapons?

Don't bring a knife to a gun fight.
1 marywasalizard 2018-06-07
Bring a pen.
1 ShitHitsTheMan 2018-06-07
What would you grab if four criminals armed with handguns started kicking in your front door? Your crossbow?
1 marywasalizard 2018-06-07
There wouldn't be four armed criminals kicking in my door. 1, because I don't live in a 3rd world country and 2, because they have no guns.
1 tornadofighter 2018-06-07
Yeah. There’s absolutely no crime in Britain. Where there are no guns.
1 ShitHitsTheMan 2018-06-07
Since they gave up their gun rights, now their government is coming after their silverware by banning knives. Pathetic.
1 marywasalizard 2018-06-07
There's very very very little gun crime.
Kids don't go to school worried about being shot.

"Violent crime in England and Wales is rising at an accelerating pace, according to police figures showing a 22% increase in knife crime and 11% rise in gun crime."

The guardian is a fear mongering newspaper for the lower classes. Keep em scared and keep em working, that's what we believe on this sub, right?
Also, whats 11% of fuck all? Fuck all.
Take London out of that equation, because it's a fucking shit hole and nothing like the rest of Britain, and it'll drop further.
1 ShitHitsTheMan 2018-06-07
It must be nice to live where criminals don't use guns because those are the rules. Where I'm from, planet Earth, criminals don't follow the rules and will break them at will. What planet do you reside on?
1 marywasalizard 2018-06-07
Earth.
Some criminals have guns here, but they're high level gang criminals, not your average strung-out smack-head looking for a fix.
1 comisohigh 2018-06-07
hahahahahahahahaha...you have just proven that your statements are ludicrous!

Please xplain

You should rest easy at night knowing dumb luck will protect your family.
1 marywasalizard 2018-06-07
They don't need protection.
Fuck me, if my biggest worry was "a gang of armed men could storm the house at any time" then my biggest priority for my family wouldn't be "derp, i'll buy a gun" it would be "we need to get the fuck out of dodge"
1 ShitHitsTheMan 2018-06-07
You obviously feel that you don't need a firearm and that's fine with me. Don't get one. You should in turn respect other's rights to defend themselves any way that they want as long as they are law abiding citizens. Remember: when seconds count, help is only minutes away.
1 marywasalizard 2018-06-07
This is a cool statement that anybody would be hard pressed to disagree with.
Respect.
1 WaitTilUSeeMyDick 2018-06-07
Your last paragraph basically undercuts the rest. Way to kneecap an argument.
So for some inexplicable reason; the US is exempt from these statistics?
1 marywasalizard 2018-06-07
America shouldn't have guns. The reason it does have guns is different from why other nations shouldn't have guns.
If the American population loses guns, it'll be a civil war. I don't think there's much argument there. However, if the UK (for example) went back to a much more lax law on guns, it would be carnage. The country would collapse over-night.
The end is the same; bring a country to ruin. All that's happening is pro vs anti gun nuts are arguing the same point from different angles.
1 WaitTilUSeeMyDick 2018-06-07
Well. That entirely makes no sense. Good day to you.
1 marywasalizard 2018-06-07
How not?
Take American guns and it's civil war.
Give the UK guns and it's civil war.
Both of these scenarios end the same. Both of these agendas are being pushed.

Your country does not recognize a basic human right.
1 marywasalizard 2018-06-07
Of being scare shitless everytime I go in a bar because some idiot might shoot up the place?
I've seen chavs piling out of oceana, start fights with each other over nothing more than "ere m8 u lukin at my fukin gf?". I dread to think of the carnage if you gave those idiots firearms.
1 tornadofighter 2018-06-07
I don’t think the average person (at least in the West) is worried about random shootings.
There were more cases of guns used in self defence than there were shootings, by a massive amount. Most gun owners are very responsible people.

It's against the law to carry a firearm and drink publicly.
An armed society is a polite society.
1 marywasalizard 2018-06-07
No it's not.
I've been to Tuscon.
1 WhydoesNASAlie 2018-06-07
OP I think you forget about us rural folk. The response time alone makes a firearm a necessity.
1 marywasalizard 2018-06-07
It's only a necessity to plug the hole in the damn. Firearms shouldn't be required to defend yourself, if the country you live in wasn't so barbaric.
1 WhydoesNASAlie 2018-06-07
I think you are misunderstanding. It’s a geographical issue
1 marywasalizard 2018-06-07
You are correct, I am misunderstanding. Can you shed some light on this for me?
1 WhydoesNASAlie 2018-06-07
In America, my area for instance, cops can’t get to me in any reasonable fashion. Do I like guns? No. But I HAVE to have one. And it’s not for me, it’s for my family, you know? Build a roof, cook a meal, love your wife, keep her safe. Nothing nefarious or evil, simply practical survival due to distance
1 marywasalizard 2018-06-07
I get it. But you shouldn't require guns to keep your family safe. If you understand?
1 comisohigh 2018-06-07
you live in a dream world....not in the rural meth head countryside around our cities.
1 marywasalizard 2018-06-07
I don't live in America.
Why the fuck would I want to live in America? I've visited twice, hated it each time. It's a real shame, because the people I met were salt of the earth, decent people and your scenery ain't half bad. It's just the rest of it that makes it a shit hole.
1 WhydoesNASAlie 2018-06-07
I do understand. Maybe one day. But also beyond that, Uncle Sam lays his down first
1 Mk6mec 2018-06-07
Where I'm from we have varmits that hurt my animals
1 marywasalizard 2018-06-07
Our farmers have shotguns and some have rifles to keep rabbit etc away.
1 BennyOcean 2018-06-07
I really do think the left hates the Second Amendment and wants it destroyed. At the same time, many Americans are broke and stockpiling armaments is not the best financial investment for most people. Get your gun or two, but be smart with your money and don't go overboard.
1 marywasalizard 2018-06-07
Good advice.
1 VintageOG 2018-06-07
You don't live in bear country, or have methed out neighbors huh? Would you mind if I send them to your house next time they try to start shit?
1 marywasalizard 2018-06-07
Good point. Animals should not be included in this. There should be no law required for hunters, real hunters, to carry firearms. They are ruled by the etiquette of the kill.

definition - "feeding the trolls"
When you reply to a troll or group of trolls on the internet, usually angrily and while showing signs of being offended.
When you do this, you give the trolls the attention that they crave. You're responding in the way that the troll wants you to respond. You get upset over something that someone posted on the internet.

I am never angry on the internet. Jokey, inquisitive and to the point, but never angry.
It's just words on a screen brah
