Well yeah maybe but have you seen anime? Shits fuckin weird!

It’s warping minds, no question. Young men beating off to cartoon chicks with tails and animal ears is pretty f’d up. Good luck to the chicks attempting to make a family with them some day. “Should I be a fox, or a cat tonight dear?”🤮

Exactly, I havent gone a day without somebody saying some stupid thing about anime, teens all over would rather watch fake porn then real porn!
1 DonnaGail 2018-07-08
I have two boys (19 and 21) and they aren't into Anime.
1 AstRWinch 2018-07-08
just because your kids don't watch it doesnt mean everyone else doesnt
1 DonnaGail 2018-07-08
Immature people watch it.
1 AstRWinch 2018-07-08
They become immature because of it, keep your kids away from it as best as possible, it taints the minds of em!

Wait so anime=hentai?
1 Quexana 2018-07-08
Hentai is a sub-genre of anime.
1 Michaatje 2018-07-08
Like one is better than the other. Both are distorting sexuality.
1 dammitjenkins20cars 2018-07-08
That's hentai, don't generalise and say all anime.

Hah, you haven't met the young women wearing tails and cat ears with bikinis then?
I'm furry-averse, but made an earnest effort at an anime convention to learn what makes furries tick. The guy I talked to while we were walking back to the same hotel basically said that he had a hard time making friends, but had plenty of disposable income (being single and having no social life will do that). He seemed happy, but the whole thing to me was sad. I was thinking to myself that if you had all that disposable income, but wanted to attract women, you could have bought a really nice sports car for the amount of money he's spent on the outfits he has. A really nice sports car might give him the boost in popularity to really begin to develop broader relationships.

I don't watch Anime and I'm American.
1 AstRWinch 2018-07-08
But you can't say that people all across the world are addicted to it, shits like a drug
1 DonnaGail 2018-07-08
Nobody I know is into it.
1 AstRWinch 2018-07-08
Well then maybe you need to get to know more people
1 DonnaGail 2018-07-08
You just made a post about how it is bad. Then you tell me I need to hang around people that watch it????
1 AstRWinch 2018-07-08
Im not saying to hang around people that watch it. What im saying is you probably don't know alot of people, go and meet some new people!
1 DonnaGail 2018-07-08
I'm 50 and know plenty of people.
1 Didymos_Black 2018-07-08
Well there's your problem. You're old! j/k
I know some people your age that watch anime. Those people have problems and some of them I question their motives. Specifically those people, not all people your age that watch anime.
I think when you get to a certain age and still exhibit addictive behavior to entertainment, especially entertainment aimed at people 1/3 your age, then there's a problem. There's arrested development, and imo, it's a clear sign that your life itself is in decline.
The day you stop learning new things is the day you start to die.
1 DonnaGail 2018-07-08
Yes, I agree with you. And I love your last sentence - The day you stop learning new things is the day you start to die. I think that is very true!
1 TheMadQuixotician 2018-07-08
Agreed wholeheartedly. I can't say that because it's not true. Post solved.

i thought the same thing till i started looking into it, if your into the arts you’ll probably enjoy it if not you wont understand. Theres animes for different kinds of people. I personally enjoy ones with a great art style that also get deep into a characters head like is a real human experiencing things. I personally enjoy ones like that because you can connect to them more and it can capture certain feelings and atmospheres that are hard to pull off in live action films, but there are alot of really dumb immature ones out there for sure

yes but not to remake the empire of japan
1 Quexana 2018-07-08
Why does Japan need to invade. Seems more like they're going for a cultural victory. I mean, just look at what they've done to All-American girl-next-door Kirsten Dunst.
1 Didymos_Black 2018-07-08
America controls Japan to a large extent.
I've been watching too much anime for far too long. The repeating theme in anime is that the US is the aggressor. When I started watching anime, I didn't understand this too well. After a while, when you start digging into the cultural history of Japan, you see that anime is still largely used to tell the story of how Japan changed after we nuked them.
They are telling these stories to remind the Japanese. That we happen to like things that explode and bleed just means we're a ripe market.

I agree with this so much like I used to know this one kid at my school we was just your average Joe, but one day he started watching anime and the change was near instance. He no longer cared what he looked liked or how he dressed, and worst of all after school he would always run home with his arms straight pointing back. The more he watched the less human he became and one day it happened. He arrived to school with a shirt that had what appeared to be one of those anime girls on it. The last I heard of him he spend his days with this thing he keeps calling his "Waifu" and the talk of the town is all he buys is ramen and a bunch of socks.
