Best Place for News???
1 2018-07-10 by NDTnosleep
I was wondering where everyone goes to get their news? I know every news outlet is biased at least a little but I was wondering what the most neutral and factual websites are. Is there anything you guys suggest? I know I’ve used Huffington Post and Drudge Report in the past, but is there a better website I can go to?
Thanks!

Huffington Post is terribly bias
To be honest there is no media outlet like the one you describe

Don’t usually post or comment, mostly just read through things.

Keep “reading through things” as you have been doing. A Lot of bullshit to sift through(particularly in this sub) but just read and ask a lot of questions to yourself. Keep after it.

HuffPost is far from neutral and factual. It's full of far left opinion pieces.

I figured, That’s why I was asking for help. I really don’t know what the best place to go is. What do you use?

I think MSM outlets are only useful if you have a proper base of info to stand on.
I would use these sources first: Corbett Report, Mint Press News, Consortium News, Moon of Alabama (weird name, but their articles have always been solid and sourced).
Corbett Report is by far the best, and of you were to choose one it would be this.

HuffPost has been conservative controlled since AOL bought it way back in 2010 or so and now both are owned by Verizon and also yahoo , that division of Verizon is named Oath. https://www.theverge.com/2017/4/4/15178948/verizon-oath-aol-yahoo-brand-name

The Verizon and Yahoo contributions according to who their employer is. It is not about who the executives support.

I like The Young Turks on YouTube. At least they're honest, and you can follow political developments.

Jimmy Dore is okay. He's at least genuinely funny. The rest are just straight up insufferable

The whole idea of presenting news to the masses is a flawed notion. There will always be biases and swaying of any truth out there.
