Notice sub increase

1  2018-07-30 by KingDas

Anyone else notice that this sub goes up by 2k users systematically? I cant imagine that there are two thousand new conspiracy people joining reddit every 3 days lol.

Reddit bans wrong think subs so refugees come here.

At least you snowflakes have a safe space ;)

Your history is interesting. Looks like you only like to enforce that rule 10. Almost every removal message you’ve left in the past month has been a rule 10.

Then you leave edgy, sarcastic comments in a thread about the existence of forum manipulation is certainly interesting.

Hmmm.

While not required, you are requested to use the NP (No Participation) domain of reddit when crossposting. This helps to protect both your account, and the accounts of other users, from administrative shadowbans. The NP domain can be accessed by replacing the "www" in your reddit link with "np".

It almost seems like since the admins can't ban this sub without public backlash, they've elected to destroy it internally. I bet that would make an intereting story in and of itself.

Dead on balls accurate.

without public backlash

Lawl. You think anyone externally would blink twice?

Outside sources would just link the post history of 2 or 3 of the mods who post the most controversial conspiracies and say "it had to be done".

I've only modded very large subs on Reddit for like the last 3 years.

The only significant forum your account appears to be moderating is this one. Do you have another account?

A mod calling the people in the sub they mod snowflakes and then says "Don't look too far into it, those numbers lie for all subs on here." 🤔

Maybe you’re the snowflake?

Mod here, yeah those stats are off for all subs. The page view and unique's might be somewhat truthful but who knows really.

Ahh. Never noticed anywhere else. I just frequent this sub the most.

Yep, I think I remember the response from the admins being something along the lines of total subs not being actual subscriber counts but something more like"impressions", whatever that means.

AKA the admins are full of shit

Sounds similar to vote fuzzing for submissions reddit introduced a while back, where the number you see next to a thread isn't necessarily the actual real number of votes.

That’ll be a rule 10

Removed. Rule 2.

lurker here. we sub to read the crazy shit you guys get up to.

Do you think everything here is crazy?

70% crazy, 5% reposts, 10% left v right bitching, 5% decent content

ooh hi eglin

Man that's incredible. I knew that shit existed, but never knew of this example.

Forum manipulation is very real. Anyone here that tries to downplay it immediately gets on my radar. The control of information is the most dangerous threat we face, so it should be no surprise governments and corporations spend billions to influence it.

Here’s a fantastic guide to the different methods that will be used to disrupt and manipulate a forum.

Ive never had a mod comment on a post, and tbh don't think I've ever seen one, and they were on this instantly haha

A mod is is relativly inactive as a mod compared to the rest of the team. A mod who claims to have modded other large subbreddits. There is a huge overlap between the large default subreddits and their mods. That’s a conspiracy within its own.

For example, the hate subreddit that often brigades this sub, /r/TopMindsOfReddit has a bunch of mods on the sub /r/PartyParrot. Notice the large amount of admins who also are mods on that sub. Are the actions of a hate subreddit actually being supported by site admins?

I’ve noticed it too

Cool, glad i noticed something.

It's almost like there's a global conspiracy to manipulate political discourse through internet bots. Oh, wait.

I agree lol

There's a lot of people who make new accounts, subscribe and let them "mature" for the two months it takes to be able to post here for them to spam the board to push their narrative.

Thats dedication lol

Yeah... That's one word for it.

You'll see these fresh accounts pushing the new narratives, the "stuff happening right now", it'll be their first post in conspiracy, or they'll have no other posts, and there will be a couple other new accounts supporting that post with fake outrage.

Don’t worry, my account is genuine and a true conspiracy believer here :)

The posts make front page and are on twitter and normies find out new things daily
