In Steve Jobs final moments life he transferred his consciousness into an advanced cybernetic body. He continues to live on, as an Android.

He couldn't afford an iAutomaton.

1) Woz was the real hero behind Apple. Jobs played his part as a marketeer, but Woz soldered the fucking boards on the original Apple's by hand. In 500 years, Woz's name will come first in the history books, not Jobs. Of that much I'm certain.
2) There is no such thing as "transferring" consciousness. There is, hypothetically, a way of copying it, by making a complete digital facsimile. But don't be fooled- that copy won't be you. It will be a copy that thinks it's you. You'll still be good and dead.

I love Bill Burr's rant on Steve Jobs.
"What did he do that was so great? He told other people what to invent."

And Woz is so humble about it. Only when he is directly asked does he state his opinion. He never mentions things like that. But when I've seen him questioned on late night shows, for example, he emphatically responds that it was him, and him alone that built the Apple I and Apple II. No one else even contributed ideas- Woz fucking dragged us into the real Computer age through the sheer force of his genius coupled with the marketing force that was Jobs.

I want to turn pages on a screen that aren't even there.

I'm also sure if there is a hell steve jobs is in it.
Had the means and opportunity to change the world or at least computing for the better. Bigtime.
Instead sold locked in locked down high priced plastic disposable crap built by slave labor.
Altho i guess i cant judge too much. their stock had made me 3 fucktons of money.

I also give Jobs credit for telling a team of engineers: "I want to listen to music, surf the web, and call people all from the same device- make it fucking happen somehow, idk".
Lol.

Except that existed already. 1992-1999 saw the first smartphones.
Apple didn't get to it until 2007-8.
I think you can credit him with the 'if you don't have one you're not cool' tho.
That worked amazingly well.

Eh, kinda. Palm Pilots weren't really "smart" phones. The Iphone was truly revolutionary, and was the first mass marketed attempt at such a device that proved successful. I think it's fair to give Apple credit for making such a device so simple to use and in such vast quantities, and then in convincing others to but it.
Credit doesn't necessarily all go to Jobs, but to Apple it is somewhat more fair to give, imo.

Angler, simon, palm, omnigo, nokia 2110, pdq, ericsson r's, kyocera 6000's, treo 180, sidekick, symbians...
Apple just got the marketing right.
1 bradok 2018-08-03
Those other devices also lacked an above par UI and touch interface as well as a solid web connectivity plan that kept them from being revolutionary. I'm not saying Apple were the pioneers here- but they were the first to combine all of these things in an effective, simple way that would lead to mass adoption.

Yeahhhhh.... I had Nokia N95, and iMate Jam that worked on WinCE.
Not ... exactly .... smartphones.

'memba when 3 dudes made that motherboards in garage in 70's. There's Apple , cult company that made pretty expensive but neat computers, and then, there's Apple that ruled the world with iOS and iPhones.
Well, 2 of the dudes from first Apple got nothing to do with second Apple.
Sorry, but that's the truth. And I'm an engineer.

If Steve jobs is dead how are new iPhones still coming out
1 dirtydanisreal 2018-08-03
They went from innovating to iterating
1 babaroga73 2018-08-03
He is dead, you can see it in fonts and icons on iOS. Nonsensical design choices.

Shitposting on r/conspiracy is an art and I give this shitpost 7/10.
1 bradok 2018-08-03
Nah, it's a 3/10 at best. It was pretty obvious what it is. The better ones are like chameleons- they don't become obvious until you really focus on them.
1 MerlotHaggard 2018-08-03
Okay okay, I submit. The best ones aren't so transparent. You have to figure them out later.
Either way this one made me chuckle. Or chortle. Or whatever it is (((we))) do.
1 bradok 2018-08-03
Kekkle, perhaps?
Lol.

L'Chaim!
1 HomeImprovementRep 2018-08-03
Idk man I'd give it a 9/11
1 pariahprism 2018-08-03
9/11... Is the key to this! 9/11 was an inside Jobs.
1 Kendle_C 2018-08-03
Certainly impossible because the build quality, reliability, of the machine would be too glitchy to trust his consciousness to. Can you imagine them at the "Genius" bar trying to do an update, "Mr. Jobs, we're about to change the ram card now... sir?

Hmm. I always thought this but more of an AI situation. Not robots. Interesting I’m not the only one to think something similar
