I have leave this sub. It's becoming more and more a Pro-Trump circle-jerk. I truly don't understand how this sub, of all subs, doesn't see the unchecked path toward authoritarianism he seeks and is leading the nation to. He's not a typical politician, but he is an establishmet puppet who only desires greater power and self-enrichment. He says he will drain the swamp, and does the opposite. He says he supports the working people, and does the opposite. He says he wants to end the war, and increases the military budget by over $100 billion. He literally calls any negative press, however truthful and provable, "fake news". He promotes a culture of violence, and literally calls Nazis good people.
He lied to our faces and has broken all of his campaign promises thus far. How do so many people, IN THIS SUB, not see the conspiracy before us?

Your CONCERN is noted valuable LONG-TIME CONSPIRACY contributor.
Perhaps try r/news or r/politics. They all seem very similarly minded.
1 Mecanatron 2018-08-11
Because there is another conspiracy happening at the same time, with the FISA debacle.
To anyone not suffering confirmation bias, they are not mutually exclusive.
However there are a lot of us/them types getting interested in conspiracy, especially when its playing out in the media they consume. They have planted their flag in deep at this point.
I find it best to sit back and watch social engineering in action on those threads... keep my strength for the ones that interest me on a proper conspiratorial level.

There used to be many good conspiracy threads. Even currently, especially against YouTube and the indoctrination they peddle. But more than half the time I literally feel like I'm in TD
1 Mecanatron 2018-08-11
And the other half it feels like r/politics..
As somebody who has no horse in the race, believe me when I say that the propaganda is strong from all directions.
1 pyro314 2018-08-11
I agree the propaganda train strikes from both sides, but it's like, the people I expected to be most awake, are the most blinded by his propaganda.
1 Mecanatron 2018-08-11
Who do you mean by this?
Most of the non-partisan r/conspiracy users are still that way.
A lot of users now denouce Trump after giving him a chance. Much as I cant stand the establishment, I even hoped he'd be different. Nothing wrong with hope as loing as it doesnt blind you to reality.
1 pyro314 2018-08-11
I did too! I wanted him to get rid of the corporatism and end the wars so badly! What sucks is the most vocal are also the most blinded

Thats always going to be the way.
Extreme ideologies breed extreme discourse.
We're living in an extreme society. Maybe not in ways we've seen before (such as religious extremity or fascism) but in advancement of technology and thinking, we are currently running hyperdrive.
That's playing out in arenas of public discourse, such as reddit.

Please elaborate.

The stuff going on with the house intelligence committee and Mueller's Russian investigation.

The HIC is full of a bunch of partisans out to save their own job. The leaked recordings of Nunes this week highlight this.

You won't be missed. Maga.

What the fuck does that even mean to you? Make America White Again? Make America Fascist Italy? Make America Corporate Still?
1 RMFN 2018-08-11
Go straw man yourself!

FUUUUUUCK the Clintons. Just because I hate Trump for literally bait-and-switching his base, does NOT mean I support the left side of the isle. I just want the working class to be supported and the WARS to END. NEITHER side wants to do that
1 RMFN 2018-08-11
What's your opinion on Alex being silenced?
1 pyro314 2018-08-11
It's a violation of freedom of speech. I may dislike Alex, and think much of what he says nowadays is religiously motivated insanity (talking about literal demons, claiming frogs are turning gay) and he is a shill for his male vitality and other products, but he should not be muted on a public platform unless he is actively inciting violence. Sure there are people who say "oh its a private company yada yada" but then why the fuck won't they ban the mickey mouse and elsa shit that desensitizes children to pedophilia??

It means living in the nation and legacy of great men, like George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, and James Madison. It means conserving the constitution. It means stopping the Marxists from deconstructing our values.
Conservatism is ensureing what works keeps working. If you don't value the constitution and American values of freedom and liberty, you can get out.
1 pyro314 2018-08-11
The Founding Fathers would start another revolution after seeing Trump's contempt for the rule of law and the Constitution.
Arguably, America was at its greatest following FDR's New Deal and the regulations and social programs it created.
1 RMFN 2018-08-11
A revolution only gets you right back to where you started.
1 pyro314 2018-08-11
Really? So in 1776, America reaffirmed their loyalties to King George, and allowed rampant taxes on their necessities, in order to fund British imperialism? I see.
1 RMFN 2018-08-11
My oh my do you have some serious YouTube videos to watch.
1 RMFN 2018-08-11
You think the founders would have rather had Hillary?
1 pyro314 2018-08-11
As I already said: Fuck the Clintons. Fuck all the corporate democrats who also lie to the American people and only enact legislation enriching themselves and the parties who purchased them.
I think the Founding Fathers would have much preferred Bernie. But the Dems don't want to help working class families like they say.
1 RMFN 2018-08-11
Democracy is Stockholm syndrome.
The finding fathers would have exiled Bernie..

I don’t think many would argue that those words are good but those ideals are not limited to conservatives. The critical “our” and “what works” are very general and are what is essentially at debate.
“What’s good” for a Christian Republican may not be for an Atheist libertarian. Those items in the constitution apply to everyone freedom and liberty, as you say, but many things that are considered “conservative” do not necessarily guarantee those rights for all only for the “our” you reference.

I don't understand why people on a r/conspiracy sub are not siding with the FBI! /s

R/The_Donald

Sorry, but this comes off as a disingenuous "concern" rant.
I criticize Trump hard, and so do many others here, so if you're not seeing that, you haven't been looking.
1 pyro314 2018-08-11
It's a little of both. The anti-Trump sentiments are far outweighed by the Pro-Trump supporters, especially as of late.
I did not mention Russia, because we don't yet know for sure. Also, I think Trump himself is a buffoon, and while his campaign may have conspired with Kremlin operatives, ultimately I do believe he is dumb enough to at least have turned a blind eye, if he knew about it.
1 DeathMentaL 2018-08-11
