Israel and France have just launched a coordinated attack on the port city of Latakia in Syria. Meanwhile we are hearing that there was a "hot shutdown" at the nuclear power plant in North Carolina. I swear if another big event occurs before tomorrow morning im going to get very concerned.

Seriously tho...I've postulated numerous times on this sub that if TPTB were going to initiate their big move in Syria, it would be during an overwhelming number of other events that were dire enough to cause the distraction needed.
I would recommend keeping up on "very current events" for the next day or two.
Thank you r/conspiracy for being my go to place for staying informed.

In regards to that...one possible scenario is this:

"Russian maritime patrol plane was shot down with 14 personnel on board"
Russian military is investigating and already claim Syria is on the Russian Air defense system so Syria didn't accidently shoot it down
That being said do you think there will be retaliation against the French frigate or the Israeli airbase?

Personally, it sounds like our dog is being wagged. But who knows, the pot is definitely stirring

I've been watching the way for the last couple of yesterday. All this happening is about the the Idlib offensive. Look it up on the map, if the Syrian government can retake this area, weapons flow to the rest of the rebel held areas will be cut off. Russian air support is a major component of this offensive. So the eliets are trying to stop Russia from going through with this. Who downed the jet is a misdirection, the important thing is they engineered the downing.

What would an escalation mean for the United States?
1 AIsuicide 2018-09-18
Did Trump just announce that the US was not going to leave Syria?
Yes, he did.
I would think if it does escalate we will see coordinated missile attacks by US, UK, France and Israel on all critical military bases in Syria.
They won't be able to half ass this by dipping a toe in the water.
They will have to go all in on a joint exercise to create a "majority acceptance"...followed by a call from the UN to immediately deploy NATO forces to Idlib, Deir ez Zor and Al-Tanf.

Thanks for the detailed response. Doesn’t sound too pretty. Hopefully nothing else major happens

At which point do Russia and Iran react?
1 Sk33tshot 2018-09-18
Hopefully, never. However, this is wishful thinking.

Maybe with midterms approaching Trump is fishing for a military victory to save face with some of the left leaning republicans

Opportunity for other nations to serve the petrodollar an eviction notice.

It would mean a loss far more more embarrassing than the one in Vietnam.

The US is claiming Syria shot down the Russian plane. Unbelievable.

And Syria is saying we integrated with RDF, how is that possible, when they are seen as friendly?

Nothing to see here, not showing up on the top half of the pages of the mainstream media (quick check of cnn, nbc, abc, fox, cbs, AP, and reuters, as of right now, but maybe I missed it). But hey, the Emmy awards show is on!

The Brunswick plant going into hot shutdown for the storm is normal operating procedure across the industry and is a complete non issue.
1 DomesticatedHumans 2018-09-18
But it has the word nuclear in it so it’s scary!

What if... quite possibly, the whole shutdown of the sun observatories in the way it went down, for exactly how long it lasted, kept certain conspiracy theorists busy and distracted from this. - myself included.
Cause just before the shutdown of the NM place, Syria was more talked about and then, tho it didn’t disappear, we were all distracted.
Not saying nothing happened, just saying multi-level-verse.
1 1nf3ct3d 2018-09-18
And if certain conspiracy theorists were not büßt, what would change? Nothing
1 inepilogue 2018-09-18
Yeah, ha! So true.... what’s the point of any of this then?
1 1nf3ct3d 2018-09-18
Of what?

exactly. thanks! I hope you have a great rest of your day!!

I wonder if it’s a coincidence this is all happening the same week that the emergency alert test was supposed to be carried out by FEMA (they’ve only just recently pushed the test date back to Oct 3rd because of hurricane Florence supposedly)
