Communists didn't care what was right or wrong, simply that the State was correct in whatever it said even if there was evidence to the contrary. Kinda similar to an orange-tinted fellow in American politics now.

The democrats (while not a reflection of the left) get more votes consistently in national votes. The last two Republican Presidents lost the popular vote. The last one term president was a republican. Factor in the liberal vote from the Green Party and it’s pretty obvious that the left far outnumbers the right. The red states have very few humans living in them.

Your entire point is that the left is outnumbered by the right. The only area where the left is outnumbered by the right is acreage. Laws affect people. Not land or livestock.

And vice versa. Rural people should not dictate how other people live. The entire state of Montana has less people than my county (and my county isn’t even in the top five in my state) yet they get the same number of senators as my state. Absurd! The red states contribute so little to the GDP it’s laughable. People move to cities because that is where the jobs are.

If the red states and blue states where separate economies we’d be hearing Sarah McLachlan songs in commercials asking for 25 cents a day in donation to the red states. 8 of the ten most needy states are red

We in the blue states aren’t seeing a whole lot coming back as the 10 least needy states are all blue.
