Dude the dnc and Trump teaming up to mock Bernie in 2019 2020 is going to fucking hilarious. The Clinton glass ceiling types and the MAGA nerds agreeing. It's going to be priceless.
I'd like to see Sanders/Gabbard or Warren/Gabbard or something. I don't think Trump can beat either of those combinations, mainly due to Gabbard's strong anti-war stance and the strong stances on education and health care of Bernie and/or Warren.
Warren is a dnc hack. She's no different than most of the senators.
Gabbard had the balls to resign her position to stand with bernie. Warren endorsed Clinton instead. Why would you want to see her anywhere near the oval office?
Oh I see. Beat trump. Thats really all you care about? Sounds straight out of the dnc 2018/2020 handbook
Yeah, I prefer Sanders/Gabbard for exactly that reason.
That said, I'm no american so I have no skin in the game, and am merely making observations here. Running a Clintonite against Trump for a second time won't work, so if the DNC wants to win the elections they are going to have to try something else, and I think they got a chance by using the grassroots movement of their leftwing.
I ket Tulsi at standing rock. Shes quite like I am. Right down to the military police in the army thing (I'm out now)
But id rather see her run as an independent as the 2 party system is a sham.
Spent like 30 mins talking to her at standing rock as I was at the time a memver of a nonprofit tryibg to get her to run. Basically trying to super Pac without the money. I left bc the people thought too small but shes an ideal candidate for progressives all thw way to center right people.
But the dnc will do anything to keep her from a nomination. Even more than bernie. She thre2e shit in their face
Don't forget the idea that progressives who supported Bernie didn't vote for Clinton is a topic that we are not allowed to discuss according to CTR and Media Matters.
Well, some people still aren't aware. Others flat out deny that any such thing took place. Of course if nothing took place, why the big to do about the DNC emails? What else did they contain that was so damaging?
Here you go friend. Read wide, and drink deep from the fount of knowledge. These links will fill you in on HRC and the DNC's bullshit, and are a mix of articles and comments that have very well sourced material to contribute.

The bigger question no one asks...why did everyone clear the path for Hillary to win? There were a lot of Democrats who could beat Hillary -- Bernie was not one of them -- why did none of them decide to run, when every other year there are at least a half dozen different candidates?
I disagree. You underestimate how many Bernie supporters voted for Trump. The DNC threw Bernie under the bus and are more responsible for Trump's winning than Russia
Trump won by such a razor thin margin that every factor was the deciding factor. And Berbie supporters mostly all voted Clinton, at a much higher rate than Clinton supporters voted Obama
That's the electoral college vote. In the states that gave Donald Trump a win in the electoral college, he won by a margin of 80,000 votes. If you flip 80,000 votes out of 140 million, Clinton wins.
But apparently it's hard for you to understand that Trump didn't qin by a razor thin margin. You can't isolate 1 of the thousands of county votes. Generally, presidential elections are pretty even. However, within those pretty even counties, he took WAY more than she did.
If you barely win in 304 versus your opposition which got 277, that isnt razor thin.
Or is it that hard for you to admit that she ran a horrible campaign and got smeared?
The electoral college doesn't reflect his margin of victory. His winning margin was 80,000 votes spread across three states. In terms of a national election, it doesn't get any more razor thin than that.
I don't know what you're trying to say about counties, that doesn't really make any sense.
How could a Bernie supporter vote for Trump? Trump has always openly been a corrupt thief, a greedy 1%er. Why would anyone with soc dem ideas go for him?-
The jobs we have are not the jobs we need. Minimum wage jobs dont mean shit. We need good paying manufacturing jobs. Something trump has failed to secure.
Inflating jobs growth numbers with low wage employment was a hallmark of the Obama era. Trump brought 500,000 new manufacturing jobs back to the country in his first year, and millions more are on the way. Wages and employment are going up massively under Donald Trump. Have you not been paying any attention?
I disagree with you though on Bernie's chances of beating her. If they hadn't declared supers early, and if Bernie came out believing in himself from the start, it would have been a landslide. Even now, if he just had taken the gloves off he might have won it. But he was very gentle, and didn't hammer hard enough on the issues where she showed weakness.
Yeah, for example. But there were issues where the hurt could have been piled on even more, because they'd have struck home with the core democrat voters.
Don't get me wrong, the emails thing should actually have been treated as a criminal conspiracy, because she was in blatant violation of FOIA laws, but when it comes to elections policy positions could have been more useful. When she drew the woman card, for example, Sanders could have pointed out how she treated the accusers of her husband. When she drew the inequality card, it could be pointed out how it's Clinton-era laws that actually have created a situation which allowed the 2008 crisis to happen (which did hurt a lot of poor to lower middle class people).
The DNC was broke and the Hillary campaign was floating the DNC's budget. No one has called that illegally excessive campaign donations though. The double standard is massive.

My biggest problem with Bernie at this point is that he's way too old. He needs to pass the torch on.
1 showmeurboobsplznthx 2018-10-10
He is 5 years older than trump and way healthier. I think it isn't a problem. Trump will die before Bernie.
1 delarozay 2018-10-10
'Way healthier'... based on?

I'm not debating any of that. I think that there should be a maximum age for the presidency though.
1 Filibuster-Proof 2018-10-10
That would be against the law. Something about not discriminating against people bc of age for a job.
1 Ayzmo 2018-10-10
I'm pretty sure we could argue that Reagan having legit alzheimers as president is something we shouldn't try to repeat.
I agree that it is controversial, but it is probably for the better.

Trump's protectionist stance, possibly, as it is essential to make sure trade deals are no race to the bottom if you want to build a welfare state.
