its all Subconscious. If you watched the video youll see these guys are happy, cheery lovable characters... I mean they run on a fucking rainbow. And they are essentially security cameras. So when a kid sees plays with these characters he accociates good feelings with it. And those feelings are associated to the shape of these mascots, wich happen to be security cameras. It's designed so that children and or people generally more or less stop seeing security cameras threathening
