Is there any way to get COMPLETELY clean water? No fluoride, hormones, or any pharmaceutical.

collect rain water. but even that will be polluted at this stage in human evolution.

Not to mention illegal

Illegal?? Please...go on.

atmospheric water generator...you should learn how to build your own, but here's a well-received device manufacturer and supplier:

Cool. Kinda like in Star Wars.

Stupid question, I'm sure, but is this 100% clean? Seeing as we can no longer trust rain water, are there no pollutants in humidity? I mean the levels of air pollution are out of control, and that's where we're pulling it from? Not meaning to make a point here, genuinely inquiring.

Pollutants can evaporate with water. Distillation won't purify water perfectly, but I wonder if the residues that are remain are significant. I'd imagine that distillation would reduce the concentration by at least one or two orders of magnitude. Also, I believe that distilled water will be acidic (I think this is why it tastes sour).

Any good links on making your own?

I think one of the problems with distilled water is that it will readily absorb CO2 from the atmosphere, making it acidic.

The pH scale is a measure of the concentration of H+ and OH- ions in solution. CO2 does not make a solution acidic - unless you're talking about the generation of carbonic acid (H2CO3), which is basically negligible.

CO2 dissolution, hydration, and dissociation in pure water will be different compared to tap water. pH of CO2 solutions at various pressures. You can see that at atmospheric pressure and 25 deg C the pH is 5.65.

I don't know whether this is significant enough to cause any problems.

Xerostomia is a disease of insufficient saliva production. This means the mouth remains at a more acidic pH following consumption of food.

in xerostomia patients, a 10% longer period of pH less than 5.7 was registered during 60 min following a sucrose rinse

Whether this is going to cause a problem in healthy individuals I don't know, but I personally did experience problems after using distilled water for a few months.

Yeah get a reverse osmosis machine.. they are a couple hundred bucks for something solid.

Alternatively (this is what I did before I was on a well) many grocery stores have water-systems where they charge like 25c a gallon to fill up jugs with reverse osmosis.

Speaking of industrialization.

Buy Prima Water. It is made from plant material and contains no plastics in the water and is filtered with reverse osmosis filtration so it is fluoride free. I assume you know what fluoride does to your pineal gland and how this gland affects us chemically and how religions and myths have understood it as the seat of the soul?

We use an ecowater filter. It gets it down to 5 microns which is as good as it gets from a filter (and is good enough for me).

If you want PURE water, you can create a distillery and distill water. Careful though, the flavor is nasty as we actually prefer our water slightly impure.

Distilled water is cheap and in stores (as de-ionized water). It is not clean though.

uh... what do you mean by "not clean".

You evaporate the water, leaving behind any other chemicals than H20; then re condense the water vapor. Water being deprived from all other material; how could you get cleaner?

I see that my wrongful assertion that de-ionized water is distilled water led me to believe that fluoride and other harmful additives would still be present. This is incorrect as your comment has led me to research. I believe distilled water is available at the local supermarket as well and I will be consuming that from now on. Thank you, you got it for me.

No problem. Glad I could help.

Did years of research to try to figure out what was best.

Out of curiosity, why don't you like fluoride? I prefer to get the prescription tablets from the dentist (Where I know the concentration and can control the intake) compared to "in the water", but I was curious what your take on it was.

Anyone try those Berkey water filters that Alex Jones shills?

I've been wondering about those, too.

I have one, but you have to buy the separate arsenic/fluoride filter called a PF-2 element. We change our filters about every 18 months for just 2 people. I like it it cause it doesn't need electricity and makes me physically fill it. I can see how much water I'm actually consuming, which is a lot more than when I was a tap drinker.

I also bought one of their small sport water bottles that filters through the straw. I used it at the county park in the horse drinking station. The water tasted fine and I didn't get sick. It was hard to get started, but it was my first time. I've been with people hiking and they have these fancy units they have to unpack and transfer water and whatnot. I just dip that in the water, close the cap and drink.

Distilled water is clean. It's also devoid of any mineral nutrients. However these can be easily introduced back into the distilled water by the addition of a few grains of organic brown rice per liter, or the use of a liquid mineral supplement.

I have a distiller. It sucks the juice but works. So does collecting the steam condensate from the lid of a pot of boiling water, or so I'm told. That probably takes a long time to gather in any quantity though.

I bought a "waterwise 4000" distiller at Amazon. It uses about 800 watts for about 3.5 hours. It leaves behind some rusty water.

The brown rice thing sounds fantastic. Do you have any good links to support the idea?
