With the technology that they have these days, fake news stories are definitely real and they are here to stay so get used to seeing them. Only a lot of you won't know that you are seeing a fake news story. As I said before, the Reno Air Crash was fake. How can you follow the real news stories if you are busy wasting time on the fake ones? It's totally genius. Eventually you become completely apathetic. Maybe we can start trying to out the fake news stories as we see them or at least discuss the possibility that they are fake (without being berated).

Why fake a new story where there are always Angelina Jolie/Brad Pitt/Jennifer Aniston and other celebrity stories for the news outlets to promote instead of actual current events?

What the media usually does is just pass over in complete silence any story that does not support their fantasy narrative. Ron Paul's strong showing in straw poles, for example. An attempt was made to avoid even mentioning his name. When Jon Stewart called them on it in such a pointed manner, they were forced to pretend to notice Paul ... for a little while ... but now they are back to ignoring him.

What was fake about the Reno plane crash? Several of my good friends are aviation enthusiasts and saw the crash in person. One texted me right when it happened.

what attendees? The news story was fake. That means the event never took place. Anyone interviewed who claims to "see the crash happen" or has a relative who "got hurt there" is apart of the machine. They are just apart of the operation. It's just like a corporation where each person has a role to play. It's not much different than that really. You got media spokeman's, you got the ones who help write the fake news story, you got software engineers who help create the fake news videos, etc etc.
