i didnt know the catholic church was part of this. but it makes sense even as a christian i have always been anti- catholic. is it true that their main goal is to bring the antichrist to earth and be given the 12 tribes of the world and enslave the rest of the people under them? i read that somewhere

what kind of santanic rituals? i knew about rapings and shit in hollywood. but why not girls?
1 [deleted] 2011-11-18
Because rape symbolically speaking is a attack on someone's control. A young boy is supposed to be learning the ropes to become a man and thus have his own idea's and follow through....ect (manhood) By raping a young boy you are destroying his identity and destroying his grasp on his life. The boy will no longer be in charge of his life. Shame will dictate his thoughts.
Typically rape against women is more symptomatic of abuse, anger and lust.
(*my generalization feel free to disagree)

it makes sense, and is fucking sick

The Vatican is what plays a big role in terms of world religion. See here.
2 marshgrass24 2011-11-18
Do you not believe in rekigion? Or god?
1 CowGoesMoo 2011-11-18
You mean religion? and yes I do believe in a creator.
3 marshgrass24 2011-11-18
Haha yes, sorry typed from phone. What religion do you subscribe to?
2 CowGoesMoo 2011-11-18
I was raised as a catholic but, moved away from it as I got older. I'm more of a mystic to be honest. I practice meditation from time to time and do stuff pertaining in the occultic realm. Ive read all kinds of different books on religion. So I tend to wonder from place to place.
1 marshgrass24 2011-11-18
as a christian i would say keep trying to find you way. i believe what i believe because i searched for it. no one should believe without being informed and experiencing
1 CowGoesMoo 2011-11-18
Thanks. I'd like to point out though that, if you knew that the bible mentions mulitple gods too? I'm curious though how that makes you feel as a christian or it dosen't really bother you?
1 marshgrass24 2011-11-18
well to be honest i have never really looked into that, but i will. it is something i need to research. but are you talking about the trinity or something else?
1 CowGoesMoo 2011-11-18
God's first commandment was "You shall have no other gods before me" He doesn't say there are no other gods. He pretty much acknowledges their existence but claims supremacy. Plus there are some exceprts like trinity and Exodus that talks about it.
1 marshgrass24 2011-11-18
couldnt this be said because he doesnt want people to make physical things a god? im really playing devils advocate here
1 CowGoesMoo 2011-11-18
It's all a matter of opinion really because there are so many ways to interpret it. Here's an excerpt of Exodus 12:12 - "For I will pass through the land of Egypt that night, and I will strike all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and on all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgments: I am the LORD."
2 Graped_in_the_mouth 2011-11-18
Excellent topic sentence! Usually, such statements are followed by evidence in proper writing, but hey, this is r/conspiracy.
4 [deleted] 2011-11-18
Belief was your first mistake. Try converting to a probability rating system as opposed to a polar yes/no system.
1 marshgrass24 2011-11-18
my probability system says they exist
2 Graped_in_the_mouth 2011-11-18
That's not a probability system, that's an unfounded assertion based on hearsay, quotes by other conspiracy theorists, and literally zero hard evidence.
But hey, if you want to call "I WANT TO BELIEVE IN THE ILLUMINATI SO I WILL" a propability system, who am I to call you an idiot?
Oh, right. I'm a rational empiricist. You might want to give it a try.
2 [deleted] 2011-11-18
It depends how we use the word. If we mean "designated group of individuals who call themselves the illuminati" then maybe not.
However, if we mean "group of individuals aware of global politics, economics, and philosophy in a way inaccessible by most people, who use this power collectively-by-design and collectively-by-accident to enslave, ensnare, and control everything (or attempt to, getting rich in the process) then yes, totally, the illuminati are real.
RE: your friends - my mom always said "never teach a pig to sing, it wastes your time and annoys the pig". If your friends don't want to listen, they won't be able to see any of your evidence. Better to keep researching yourself and let them think whatever they want.
3 marshgrass24 2011-11-18
i have done hours of research and it scares the shit out of me some of the stuff i have found.
8 [deleted] 2011-11-18
Not to toot my own horn (warning: here comes the horn tooting) but I went and got an MA in sociology, partially to study global politic and it's relation to occult tradition.
It is worse than you can possibly imagine. And the more you understand, the worse it will seem. I don't claim to know everything, I know very little, but more than the lay-person.
Anyway, it is scary shit. Try not to let it keep you up at night. You can see it, and that is a gift. Keep training your eye.
1 marshgrass24 2011-11-18
can you explain some of the scariest parts as simply as possible?
18 [deleted] 2011-11-18
there are two basic possibilities: a. a secret cabal runs everything. or b. the thing drives itself. The latter is actually scarier than the prior, imho.
The 1776 illuminati/US government kids were founded by Germanic Secret Society peeps. The 1848 Communist Manifesto kids were founded by Germanic Secret Society peeps. The 1930's Nazi regime kids were founded by Germanic Secret Society peeps. Maybe not the exact same organization, but close enough to be freaky.
If you woke up tomorrow and had to "run the world", what choices would be rational? Consider our earths population as "hit points" in a video game. They rebuild over time, and sometimes you take damage to get goals accomplished. What is a million hit points when you have 7 billion? What is 3000? Nothing. Dust in the wind.
Every aspect of your life (assuming you are american, but western europe/aust/etc too) has been controlled. Since birth you have been raised to hold a single specific view of reality, intrinsic to which is the rejection of all other views. It is about more than being raised to hate muslims or blacks or whatever, it is about being raised to support the economic masters that made you.
This system is older than we can imagine. In either scenario in point 1, it is has been here longer than you and I. Greek philosophy discussed the cave, ignorance, and dragging individuals into the light. That was thousands of years ago. We have made zero progress.
It is possible to think of the "illuminati" as "good", even in the face of mass killings, war, famine, and so on. Consider point 3 again. Keeping the world running is a hell of a task. (not saying they are good, just saying it is a matter of perspective).
The media we consume in the west is produced by a few small interconnected groups. This ranges from Cable TV to school books. It all paints a specific picture and worldview. The internet has been increasingly a threat to this, which is why they are trying to kill it or shut it down or reduce it to a fully user-tracking version of cable tv.

Bourdieu on Symbolic Domination and Power this is pretty heady sociology, but spot-on and on-topic
Skull and Bones this is important because most of our politicians and business leaders have come through S&B or related groups. Bonesmen invented American Football, founded Time/Life magazine, and various other "American" institutions.
Business Plot
Mein Kampf ignore the "ITS THE JEWS" parts and you will find that Mein Kampf is a blueprint for the current war and propaganda regime we face in the west. The scariest part is that Germans read this book and LOVED IT. Read it to understand what Germany went through in the 1930's, and be chilled by the similarities in Hitler's vision with what we are doing today. Shit is fucked up.
Undersea internet cables 'accidentally' cut, three or four in a row back in 2008, in a series of unrelated boat anchor accidents. Then the news was buried and forgotten. Fucked up shit.
3 EMRLD007 2011-11-18
Thank you for fhe info. I have some new things to read! Also, the Germany 1930's comment ... Sooo true. Im just waiting for our Adolph to come along and conclude this cycle so it can start all over again.
2 ScoobysDoo 2011-11-18
What is the significance of the cut cables - is it the date - or just that they Stopped the flow of info?
2 [deleted] 2011-11-18
Just an example of obvious world tinkering with zero proper attention from the media. Surely three plus cables can get accidentally severed in a few weeks of each other, right?
It was probably a cover while splitters were installed to monitor dataflow, like the at&t blackroom.
2 crackiswhackexcept 2011-11-18
it's amazing to me that people are so afraid of what they term the illuminati. (meaning anything they fear and don't have the access to understand, basically.)
point 3 is a major one. ensuring the long-term survival of the species requires hard decisions. if one billion lives in this century means billions and billions more in coming centuries will live in peace, that's a responsible choice. to avoid turmoil and change simply out of compassion for those alive right now is unfair to future generations and honestly pretty insane. we're all going to die anyway, so guarding a shitty system for the benefit of those already living in it is extremely selfish.
2 [deleted] 2011-11-18
go to google books and search the oldest txt they have for "illuminati" It isn't a new concept and I wouldn't use any of the newer books (past 50 years) for sources...

Which book would that be? I'm looking on the mobile version but can't sort by date

You're joking, right? "Their website"? Wow, excellent journalistic rigor you've got going there.
If you're willing to take the title of a poorly made website that bashes the Illuminati as proof that said organization exists and that the website is actually run by them, then you're just...stupid. I'm sorry, but that's just stupid. That's the least serious fact-finding I've ever seen, and you are literally believing everything you read.
Excellent work.

Out of not having anything better to do, I might end up reading it, but care to provide a tl;dr nonetheless?

tldr - the guy who posted the comment is an author who spends all of his time advertising his website on Reddit in order to gain publicity for his new book.

I would be interested in having a more detailed explaination of meritocracy. For instance.... if I am not allowed to have my father's assets when he passes on, who would get them? Oh, they would be forcibly liquidated into a 'commonwelth' you say? How does someone have the authority to take my father's posesions away? Would there be no family heirlooms? What about my grandfather's century old acoustic guitar? I don't keep that either? Or is it just the paper money that gets 'liberated'?
What power does the repo man possess that comes to take my dead father's things? Is he allowed to give me a birthday present? What if he just gives his assets as a gift to me BEFORE he dies? What motivation do I even have to reproduce if I will not be able to take care of them?
2 laughattheleader 2011-11-18
Confusion a bit of hyperbole, some singling-out of ethnic adversaries to "the people", a historical account of the illuminated, and some conflicting ideology, but remarkably enough, I didn't find it too disagreeable. Needlessly long read though.
2 clintonsclit4u 2011-11-18
tldr; we reject all religions and embrace ratio, nevertheless abraxas or satan is the one true god. lulz :D
1 SpasticusAutisticus 2011-11-18
The web site is a fake. These people have just appropriated the illuminati name in order to give themselves some credibility. It's a shame about all the deceit, because they do have some very worthwhile things to say.
1 dmareddit 2011-11-18
Wait a second. I just googled Franklin conspiracy and the first link led me to a scan of a book where a boy talks about the Bohemian Grove incident. They sacrificed a boy and made these other boys sex toys and it was all filmed by Hunter S Thompson? Seriously?
0 inkandpaperguy 2011-11-18
Hi all. I have just read this entire thread ... very deep, very intense, fucked up stuff we are discussing here. Have any of you considered that the small group who used to be termed "elites" (the 1%) may just be playing with us?
On a country level - is there any real difference in outcome, regardless of who wins elections? I think Obama was told what's what after he won and capitulated on much of the promised change. Sadly, I had hope he was going to knock a few out of the park for my American friends.
On a global level - is there any real difference in outcome, regardless of who wins wars? I get a sense we are just being pointed in a direction as a society, like pieces on a giant chess board. I hear Hitler was quietly carted off to enjoy his senior years of peace and tranquility in South America via the Americans during "Operation Paperclip".
I think as a people we are all conditioned to think in terms of borders, language, etc. There has to be some wholesale fuckin' changes to the way things are done. Getting rid of these evil bastards like the Rothschilds family would be a good start.
