The Pyramids

Watch these in this order and see how my hypothesis fits.
Histories Mysteries: Secrets of the Pyramids and the Sphinx.
Part 1/2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h3Ad2IsFvoY 25 min
Part 2/2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DCkQGMj_sRM 25min
These two are well-compiled, well-presented videos. History channel or some shit. Good place to start... and get warmed up.
Secrets of the Pyramids
- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h_gETS401SM 40 minutes
This is a lecture of a sort. Camera man fell asleep, I think. I probably should have excluded this one, but I think the debunking of the "post cave man era built these" theory needed emphasis... and this guy kinda says it in a way we're all thinking.
So, if they're obviously not pharoahs' tombs, what are they?
One theory
Solving the Pyramid Mystery
- Part 1 (Pyramidion Part 2A): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jv8CB9VURNc 8 minutes
If this guy is right, would the use of something like this (the focused heat within the atmosphere) contribute to atmospheric warming? or would it, on balance, be a no-effect (it's still the same amount of sunlight hitting the earth, just some of it is being focused purposefully)? Oh, and... is this the Sun God reference?
Part 2 (Pyramidion Part 2B): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lMhyPNme_fs 8 minutes
Part 3 (Pyramidion Part 2C): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CWYJ82iXnWo 6 minutes
Another Theory
The secrets hidden in the pyramids of Egypt (Harun Yahya)
- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tiMMERUpaNY 11 minutes
So, there was this legendary advanced civilization, "Atlantis" or whatever you want to call it. It had this advanced technology. It was wiped out in a cataclysmic flood (the undersea pyramids off the coast of Japan). The surviving peoples re-established cultures and developed myths and religions to preserve the memory of that ancient, destroyed civilization (Noah/Gilgamesh). The pharoah kings pillaged the gold platings from these "power plants" or whatever they were, and took it all with them to their grave... these were the first few generations in charge of trying to preserve the remnants of the destroyed society. They, too, succumbed to various human frailties (hubris, war, etc.).
The collapse basically continued all the way through the fall of Rome. After which, humanity began struggling with being at the bottom. Science began to recover, but in the darkest secret corners at first. Almost taboo. Until it gained institutionalized acceptance - creating a whole new hurdle of "taboo thought" which had to be overcome... until ... finally....
Here we are today, actually taking a serious look at this ancient technology.
Close?
EDIT: Added another theory video about the purpose of the pyramids.
Also,...
What's under the Sphinx's feet?

I think the Pyramids are one the biggest "real conspiracies" out there. Along with crop circles(the real ones not the fake ones)

I think there are various "real" ones - the pyramids and crop circles being two very valid ones in the list.

This is the best newest Pyramid doc series I've seen in awhile: http://topdocumentaryfilms.com/pyramid-code/
You'll see some familiar faces, and some pyramids you've never heard about before. Its rad.

I think you would like the book "Chariots of the Gods" by Erik von Doniken
1 [deleted] 2012-02-05
Wasn't that made into a movie, years ago? I seem to recall watching a movie by that name.
EDIT: Yep. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0065702/

I was unaware of the movie. I have read the book and they cover all of the basics of the theory in the original ancient aliens premier on history channel back in 2007.

it seems fit, to me, that if humans today can have tiny contraptions that serve a very significant and amazing purpose, humans back then could have found alternate ways to achieve equally significant and amazing things.

The Japan 'pyramids' you mention are a natural rock formation typical of the entire area. there are plenty of images of the same formations above the sea level. So many videos conveniently leave that part out.
I ask you this.. why were boats buried alongside the pyramids? What transportation did Ra use?
0 [deleted] 2012-02-05
If the immediate proximity to the Nile and the associated astrological mythology aren't reason enough (evidenced in the first two videos, ala the pyramids in reference to the Nile and the stars of Orion's belt in reference to the Milky Way)...
... It is certainly conceivable, possible, and to a degree likely, that this would be answered along with "why does the sphinx show evidence of intense water erosion?"
1 [deleted] 2012-02-05
To me it suggests hot air balloon boats.
"However, the vessel may not have been designed for sailing (no rigging) or paddling (no room).
The history and function of the ship are not precisely known. It is of the type known as a "solar barge", a ritual vessel to carry the resurrected king with the sun god Ra across the heavens"

This is an excuse for not having an explanation, it is not an explanation...
...much like the "grave robbers" mentioned in the videos above.
Japan's Mysterious Pyramids (Yonaguni) - FULL VERSION History Channel Documentary
0 [deleted] 2012-02-05
It is more than an explanation, it is there for you to go and see for yourself. The rock formation goes on for kilometers both under the sea and on the sure. Why do these documentaries always leave that part out? Have you not seen it yourself?
1 [deleted] 2012-02-05
No, it's not. It's less, in fact. It's dismissal which serves only the hubris of institutional dogma, the same mentality that says "it must have been the first early post-stone-age people who built the pyramids with copper chisels and stone hammers, because that's the only explanation that fits with current evolutionary time lines".
0 [deleted] 2012-02-05
are you denying that the 'japanese pyramid' landform under the sea is not typical of the geology of the coastline?
i think it's a very brave assertion to make when the evidence exists for you to go and see for yourself otherwise.
are you saying geology is dogma? that makes my day. thanks for the laugh.
0 [deleted] 2012-02-05
I'm saying there are those who disagree, and - considering the other things presented in these videos - for good reason.
0 [deleted] 2012-02-05
how can you disagree with a land formation.. it's there or it isn't. do you want to see it?

How can you express such melodramatic reactions of mockery without either:
watching any of the videos in my original post,
or providing any citation whatsoever to support what you've said
Furthermore, the intensity of your melodramatization belies a couple other things:
you know that no matter what the current state of discussion is about the Japanese "natural rock formations" turns out to be, it doesn't do anything to discredit the remainder of what I posted (above), and, thus...
you know that no matter where this discussion goes, it's moot and irrelevant, because Japan is a nuclear wasteland now.
Amirite?
0 frostek 2012-02-05
This will come as as a surprise to my several Japanese friends.
1 [deleted] 2012-02-05
Maybe, but more likely... what will shock your Japanese friends is the smugness with which you dismiss this fact. The Fukushima disaster is terminal for that island nation. There's no turning back, bra.
1 frostek 2012-02-05
I suppose we'll just have to see. Personally I think that if anyone can beat a tough situation like the tsunami (which everyone seemingly ignores!), and this lesser problem of Fukushima it's the Japanese!
1 ignignot765 2012-02-05
Fukushima will haunt that country for years.
0 [deleted] 2012-02-05
I've watched the videos thanks. nice assumption. I asked you if you wanted to see the formation. I posted seperately about other issues with your post Japan is not a nuclear wasteland.. not yet anyway.
so no, you're just being over defensive for no reason. I take issue with this Japan pyramid thing. it's wrong.
1 iamnotallthatbad 2012-02-05
I wanted to reply to this post really badly, but my reply blew out of proportions and I end up making a whole new post from which I provided a link here.

C'mon. This guy says that granite is an excellent conductor of electricity.
0 [deleted] 2012-02-05
Hmm you might want to check your history books man. Rome didn't fall until 1452 for example. Science was not lost to the Byzantine Empire, nor to the Ottoman Empire, nor to the Indian subcontinent, and of course it was in no way lost to the Chinese Civilization.
1 [deleted] 2012-02-05
So, are you saying the Chinese know how to power up these pyramids and make them operational again?
I'm not going to argue with self-styled pseudo-academia about the triviata of the details of the institutional version of history (since the videos above show that the institutional versions can't be trusted for their accuracy or relevance - it all has to be taken with a grain of salt).
Furthermore, (and I find it difficult to fathom that you were unable to grasp, not only my previous point, but this as well), the point here is that there was an advanced civilization (not officially acknowledged by modern institutional academia) one day... and the next (figuratively speaking) it was gone.
And while the people alive in the aftermath began their new existences within the structural shells of their predecessors, they all continued to fall/collapse/decay... the only thing remaining of the pre-cataclysm society is myth and legend.
Unless, of course, you can pull some evidence out of your ass that the Byzantine, Ottoman, Indian, Chinese, or whoever... can fire up those pyramids and give us a demonstration this afternoon.
1 frostek 2012-02-05
LOL @ "Power up the pyramids".
1 [deleted] 2012-02-05
As you can clearly see above I was commenting only on the quoted text. I guess you missed that part but still wanted to rant.
After the fall of Rome humanity was not at the bottom, only western Europe. Get your history right.
Also there was not an advanced ancient civilization, there have been many, many advanced civilizations before this one, and they all collapse its life's cycle.
-3 necromanser 2012-02-05
If it were advanced Jack, it would not get wiped out ? duh. Even CIA can make earthquakes; use them in a sequence to let off the steam or whatever.
meaning: Your theory is flawed just as your historic knowledge.
2 [deleted] 2012-02-05
Do you have any idea how absurdly ridiculous that is? No. Obviously, you don't or you wouldn't have posted it, right? And your arrogant delivery of this outright stupidity only reflects upon you, "Jack".
meaning: You just made a huge ass of yourself in front of God and everyone on the internet. Have a nice life, if you can manage to live this down.

I know. Tokin is a lunatic loose on r/conspiracy to make it look like a joke. He's even come upon this infant idea that atlantis was an advanced civilization that anything other than his own - whatever that may be - fickle hierarchical view is absurd.
0 [deleted] 2012-02-05
Sounds like you've got a personal issue with me. Care to discuss it?
2 necromanser 2012-02-05
You don't want to discuss atlantis I take it ? I don't want you to think you are special and I have a personal affinity to you. Anyone who posts illuminati nonsense about advanced atlantis and the return of this great civilization ( and its god cheiftain cronus/kronos) will need to explain thier motives and thier agenda.
-1 [deleted] 2012-02-05
And you say I'm discrediting this subreddit?
PROTIP: Stop stalking my self-posts, "Jack". Besides being a violation of policy, it's also super creepy as fuck.
1 necromanser 2012-02-05
And you want to carry on with your disinfo agenda ? You're slip is showing.
1 [deleted] 2012-02-05
Damn. You exposed me with your superior conspiracy sleuthing skills.
0 necromanser 2012-02-05
Advanced atlantis. hahhahahaha
4 [deleted] 2012-02-05
For the record, people:
necromanser banned me from /r/owswatch over my comments here in /r/conspiracy.
LOL
-1 necromanser 2012-02-05
And reported. Well well well.
1 [deleted] 2012-02-05
Remember to post a huge exposé submission to r/modclub, r/subredditdrama, and r/WTF. The job isn't finished until you get me on the frontpage for public humiliation, tarring, and feathering.
You go, girl.
-1 necromanser 2012-02-05
Best flippin freemason imbecile idea ever!!! Good thing I'm not waiting for Kronos/Cronus/Saturn from saving advanced atlantis. Hahhahahahaha
1 frostek 2012-02-05
For myself it's interesting watching one person with silly pyramid technology tales arguing against another person who is anti-vaccine (and so disagrees with well-known biological concepts) and "free energy" (perpetual motion machines, essentially) both arguing about how they are right, and the other person is wrong.
1 necromanser 2012-02-05

1 frostek 2012-02-05
What? Where?
EDIT - I've Googled this and it means "a zionist troll who infects the Internet"? Is that right?
1 [deleted] 2012-02-05
Yes. That's me. Good old zionist troll infecting the internet. Here's proof...
http://www.reddit.com/r/conspiracy/comments/p88vk/i_want_to_be_able_to_discuss_the_issues_no_matter/c3nkrhf?context=3

I'm a disinfo shill who opposes his subreddit, proof here...

"In front of god"? Seriously? Ha ha ha!
3 [deleted] 2012-02-05
Is "point and laugh" the best you and necromanser can come up with? You're no better than the trolls who come here to discredit this subreddit.
-1 frostek 2012-02-05
I've learned it's best not to waste time reasoning with people who hold extremely ridiculous views. They'll never be convinced, and it only gets you annoyed at the end of the day.
2 [deleted] 2012-02-05
So, you keep trolling anyway, right?
