Weed.

Lots and lots of weed.

Get a vaporizer! I'm using less than half of what I used to.

=)))

I don't spend my money. There's almost nothing I want to buy. Things mean nothing to me. Clothes mean nothing. A car is a way to get from here to there. I cook my own food and never eat out. I don't go to movies or shows, and don't have cable television. I don't wear or own jewelry. I don't drink, smoke, or use drugs. I don't gamble. My money gets saved or invested.

Don't do drugs?!?!? Why not? Human beings are literally built for taking drugs. That's why we have THC receptors, etc. Marijuana is an incredibly good plant for ones health. It's a natural anti-inflammatory, which, surprisingly, can deter heart disease, cancer, Alzheimer's, etc, etc. And, being that the worlds leading heart surgeon recently reversed decades of assumptions surrounding what causes heart disease, pointing out that's it's actually artery inflammation that causes it. Medical marijuana is perfect for combating the disease due to it's natural anti-inflammatory properties.

I've been using medical marijuana for almost 20 years, and I've never known anyone who was a habitual user that has gotten cancer, or heart disease, that smokes, eats it. My father has used it for almost 45 years, and he is the picture of health considering his pretty shitty diet. I fully believe that if God is real, marijuana is the Burning Bush: the plant that will unite the world.

Drugs modify and inhibit the thinking process. I like having a clear and undistorted mind. Even the drugs that are usually supposed to enhance thinking really just distort it. Decisions made under the influence of cocaine or LSD, for example, cannot be trusted. I want my mind clean and clear at all times. It's just a life decision I made when I was a young boy.

Most of what you just said is a load of establishment bullshit. LSD, for example, removes perception filters. Are you familiar with the term?

Also, I can not believe you put cocaine and LSD in the same sentence to begin with. Knowledge is gained by experience, not what you've been told. Clearly, you have none.

I'll bear what you've said in mind.

Please do. I have seen the benefits for themselves. Drugs only alter ones thinking temporarily, and they are usually very insightful events. I'm quite certain chemicals such as LSD, and MDMA, have made me a more compassionate, empathetic, and understanding person. All of which we should should all be seeking to obtain. I'm telling you, there is nothing like having your ego stripped from you consciousness.

Obviously, something is wrong with the world. Mans thinking is askew, things are crazy, people are egotistical and greedy, and I have suffered from such things, as we all have. Certain drugs, at certain times in people lives are simply able to give us a better understanding of the Human Condition, and a deeper respect and awareness for the kinship we share with all things. To be able to feel connected to the universe, and to all living things, is the point of life.

EDIT: I do want to add that drug experimentation should be carried out with maximum possible respect. I've read numerous books about the subject, TIHKAL, PIHKAL, DMT: The Spirit Molecule, The Doors of Perception, and recommend that all aspiring cosmonauts do the same...

EDIT #2: Also, cocaine, heroin, methamphetamine, and other drugs analogous of these are absolutely horrible, and have nothing to offer society outside of local anesthesia, and sever pain management (for which medical marijuana is a far better choice).

Had a cup of coffee recently? Tea? Refined sugar? Aspirin? Enjoy your drugs.

You don't pay rent or utilities? Guess you don't want the money to go to the "Jewish masters" eh? Must be "living off the grid" like all the other crazies.

I pay utilities. I don't pay rent, or a mortgage -- the house is paid off. I don't know what your "Jewish masters" comment signifies, but I'll take it as a random personal insult. No, I don't live off the grid, but I do live in the countryside, away from the city.

"Jewish masters" refers to the fact that you think Jews secretly control everything. Please don't act like you don't believe that, either. Even a cursory glance at your comment history suggests otherwise.

I read, study and meditate. It's not that I made a decision to reject material things, it's more a case of losing interest in them. Stuff just doesn't matter to me.

lately? I have been stocking up on some types of foodstuffs. Also items that go well into my camping gear collection but would also be useful during a power interruption etc. I have some silver, mostly us coins with no numismatic value, so 1$ face value in coins = spot value for 1 oz of silver. I pick up more coins when I can get them for a reasonable price, usually just 1$ (face value) at a time. Books. lots of them. Next purchase will be a mini solar rig and some batteries, also good for emergency or camping. I really want one of these camp stoves.. I think it's a great idea and worth every penny.

I wish the bigger one was going to be available in the US soon. It looked big enough to be useful in a long term sense and like it generated more electricity, too.

[deleted]

huh. Good thinking. Maybe even build a big one from scratch! Let me know, please.

[deleted]

Awesome, got you too.

You're doing well. What sometimes worries me is that should the grid go down, I'd lose my water, since my deep well pump runs on electricity. I've been thinking lately that to be really self-sufficient, I would need a dug well. Other stuff isn't difficult. Heat can come from trees on the property. I could raise livestock and grow vegetables easily enough. But water might be a problem, if the shit hit the fan.

On film making, food, and rent.

Coffee and books mostly.

I'm learning to garden.

Hopefully I won't have to deal with the Monsanto food system in the future.

I'm not happy with anything in stores... so the only thing I buy is tools (I don't like them either ;-) ) ... to make my own things. Here are some examples:

and some more...

You are welcome to befriend me, but I'm not that interesting (btw, I fixed the link above for the gun I made)

I usually spend my extra cash on music/recording equipment, but lately I save every penny so I can move out of L.A.
Seems like the wrong place to be in these uncertain times. Also been stocking up on books about gardening and items for my emergency kit.

Thanks. I'll check these out when I get home from work.
