Why the Denver airport?

17  2012-05-20 by [deleted]

I've read a bunch talking about how the Denver airport is such an important place for the US government. I've also read things about the weird paintings, signage, and the like in the airport, as well as the purported underground base there, even though there really hasn't been any tangible evidence of it yet.

So basically I want to know, secret base aside (or not, whatever), why is it such an important area for the US government? If there is a base there, what kind of base?

Thanks guys.

it's a DUMB deep underground Military Base. colorado is a high elevation for when the coasts go all wonky after the polar shift caused by planet x aliens pumping jesus' second coming holograms into our brains for project bluebeam. also mayans.

i just used that gif somewhere else. seeing it in response to my admittedly super clever post makes me all smiles and shit.

NIBIRU

note how i used 'planet x' and 'aliens' rather than 'nibiru' and 'anunaki.' this is simply because not everyone knows the proper names for these totally legit things.

i was just kidding, for a long time now i see people respond to anything with NIBIRU because it was so big for a while.

pssst - my posts were pretty tongue-in-cheek, too.

we rock HIGHFIVE

It's close to the Cheyenne Mountain DUMB; so close, in fact, that it can be considered just an extension of it. The city underneath DIA is the civilian-employee/VIP counterpart with all the amenities. They might survive the event, but I doubt they will survive each-other; there's just going to be too damn many chefs in that kitchen. Oh yeah; Denver remains above water in the Cayce predictions, and they expect the craton to prevent any earth changes underneath.

NORAD isn't a DUMB, it doesn't descend in elevation, I've been inside before. What it is a hollowed out mountain. Semantics aside you are mostly correct. These locations are all connected. DIA, the Denver Federal Center, AFA, Northcomm (at Peterson Field), which is right next to Ft. Carson, which is right next to NORAD.

Certainly the sustainability of the area is partially the reason for centering these things in and around Denver. There are the possible future environmental threats you mentioned, as well as any number of scenarios where this area is of strategic value. DIA, for instance, why locate it so far from...anything? I think the ability to conceal operations from they nosy public is the best reason. The access road itself is strategic. You drive on it for miles before getting anywhere near the airport. There is no short cut, or alternate route; you can be sure that you are being monitored the entire way.

This is exactly what they did in the late 70s in Kansas City. The old MKC airport was just ten minutes from downtown. They anticipated growth and built the Kansas City International airport out in the boonies, at least thirty miles away. Since then the whole area there and beyond has been developed creating an enormous urban sprawl. In a way it's good because everybody isn't all jammed in like sardines, on the other hand you need a car to get around.

All the conspiracy talk about DIA is crap. There is no underground base, especially one that extends to NORAD in Colorado Springs. All those murals and stuff was just someones idea of artistic relevance to the times. What DIA signalled was the sellout of Denver to corporate interests which had been plying the Denver market for years. Denver was considered a Boom/Bust town. It would go through periods of growth then followed by years of stagnation. People would come and go. After DIA opened everybody started sticking around. Now we are stuck with a bunch of people who care not about the fragility of the Denver Front Range, but all they care about is getting what they feel is their "fair share"

There are plenty of cities that have 'their' airports not right in or next to the city. I don't know why the distance from the city is everyones go-to point.

John Denver. It's all about John Denver, and the role he played in the New World Order before he was executed in the staged crash of his light aircraft.

Its protected by mountains to the west and is high above sea level. Safest place to be.

If the poles melt Washington D.C. would be underwater.

I think the attention is more focused towards the poles shifting, I know my attention certainly is. If that happened, all the water would sit differently, so yeah washington D.C may well be underwater.

I've met some military dudes who say that they have operators flying the predator drones out from under the airport. Doesn't sound too farfetched considering it would be one of the last places to get blown up in the case of a nuclear war.

I've met some military dudes who say they have operators flying DRAGONS out from under the airport. They were legit and everything.

Im not stating what i heard was a fact, I'm stating the fact that i heard this. Take your sarcastic comments somewhere else please.

You think people would see drones flying in and out of the airport then.

The operators are under the airport, the predators drones themselves are not being flown out from the airport directly.

Makes total sense now.

Maybe the Denver was cheap and available at time.

Conspiracists have a plethroa of beliefs and some of them are thrifty.

Is it true the the Queen of England has been buying up many acres of land in Denver?

I've never seen a legit source on this.

DIA is massive, it's a hub for frontier, and it has quite a few people moving through it each day. It's a great place to hide something, or for an attack.
