Phony PBS "Special" on HAARP refuted.

I was referred to what was supposed to have been a PBS Special on HAARP by someone I won't embarrass here by revealing his name. The production values were amateurish, the graphics were awful, and the commentator was obviously not a professional. A couple of minutes showed graphics with the WETA logo but the same voiceover spoke over that as well.

It's here, at least for now, see the message below for the reply from WETA to my inquiry as to it's authenticity.

Guess what? WETA responded to my email. And guess what? Your supposed PBS 'Special' is phony. Refute the facts, you say? There are no facts.

You and you pals should be concerned, if the 'evidence' for your beliefs is so weak that you have to resort to lies and deception to try to convince people then your cause is in bad shape.

No, I'm not going to reveal the person's name at WETA, just use their contact form if you want to verify this. Don't worry, if they get it removed you can just put it back and you'll be back in business! The business of, well, prevaricating.

This is supposedly a WETA production, seems highly dubious to me: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MnRPZOUVhJ4 Would it be possible to confirm this? Yes, this is from a tinfoil hat internet site but it's being used as "proof" in a reputable discussion and I'd like to put it to rest if it's phoney Thanks in advance, Xxxxx Xxxxxxxxxx

As an occasional /r/conspiracy reader, weeding through the new queue in here for the last few days made me realize that the media literacy of some people in here is basically non-existent. As in, identifying original sources, evaluating the trustworthiness of information/sources ...and actually reading more than the headlines of the submissions/articles.

I don't know if I should be surprised by this or not.

There's got to be a Doctoral dissertation or two in here somewhere, the field being psychology. Critical thinking is in short supply in the worst cases, in others I suspect someone is trolling, such as yet another topic about airplanes not hitting the WTC...

I don't come here often, I feel icky after a while...

The phony PBS 'Special' (if the link is still good) is the worst thing I've seen here, it's not just delusional it's also blatantly dishonest, there's a fine distinction...

Well they're obviously just in on the conspiracy. Duh.

Good lookin out. lol the voiceover is so boring (even by PBS standards) I don't know how you could sit through more than 30 secs of it.

But posting your self text as a comment to reap in karma... ಠ_ಠ

An entire 13 karma in 6 hours. Woah there.

It's the audible breathing and stumbling over words that clued me in (in addition to the rest). That guy was trying to imitate the classic PBS style (i.e., boring) and not doing so well at it.

I actually watched it a couple of minutes at a time...

I found the video quite boring, so I guess he aced that part.

The part when the boring and incompetent voiceover guy casually says something to the effect that the entire output from six power plants is used up by the alleged HAARP thing is important because it's demonstrably bogus... over and above the fact that the entire thing is bogus.
