Anyone find it weird that a conspiracy subreddit seems more dedicated to real news than actual news subreddits?

If all the 1% of the 1% of the 1%s make up TRILLIONS of dollars, if the US, or any country wanted to get out of debt, why wouldn’t they just make all of those people, and their families disappear, and inherit their money to pay off national debt?
